Decided to upgrade these to full characters, since I enjoy their respective concepts.

The Painted Lady

  • Identity: Alice Greenwoodnote , Anti-Hero, no secret identity.
  • Abilities: Alice (and by extension, her family) is supernaturally connected to a portrait that includes herself, her mother, and her father, meaning that anything that happens to the painting is reflected on her, and vice-versa. While in some (most) cases this is more of a curse than a blessing, as a single scuff or tear could effectively create an impossible-to-heal injury, as long as the painting is cared for she can effectively add purposeful alterations to it in order to gain physical advantages, like adding wings, claws, greater muscle-mass and the like, which will manifest on her real body. Alterations to the painting will mysteriously disappear after 24 hours, although physical damage to the canvas will remain.
  • Appearance: 5'8, 20 years of age.
  • Personality: Alice is rather cold and aloof, taking little to no nonsense and rarely showing any emotion other than irritation to those that are purposefully trying to irk her. Her flat tone of speech reflects this, and she seems to dislike being around other people for longer periods of time than necessary, instead finding any excuse to return to her family painting. She is highly paranoid and protective of said portrait, and if its exposed to anyone or she feels it is put in any semblance of danger she may act rashly in order to prevent any damage to it, showing a rare state of fear in an otherwise fearless girl. Considering the portrait's effects, it is understandable why, although her protective nature towards it is becoming a borderline obsession. As a result she has been unwillingly assigned to act as a ward to the twins, in an attempt to slowly ease her out of her shell with a varying amount of success. Despite her emotionless actions involving them, she has developed a reluctant fondness for their light-hearted and good mannered nature, even if they seem to make it their goal to drive her to the brink of insanity whenever they are around her.
  • Background: The portrait she owns, sometimes nicknamed "Dorian's Curse" by her family due to its similarity to said fictional character's tale, is one passed down through her family history, and has always carried its anomalous properties. With every passing generation, it shifts in its illustrated family and promptly materializes in the respective abode or room overnight, usually to that of the firstborn. Evidently, Alexandra'snote  family couldn't take it any more, and promptly kicked her out, portrait and all in an effort to separate themselves from the curse, apparently not realising that their daughter now had their lives effectively held in the palm of her hand. Despite this, she has shown a reluctance to enact revenge, apparently still holding love for her parents great enough not to wipe them from existence, no matter how easy it would be for her. She was eventually picked up by Valerie Clarke in the same adoption centre as the twins to join the Black Ram, legally changing her name to Alice Greenwood to fit in better with the overall theme of the gang, and has been working with them and residing in their underground sanctuary ever since.

The Twins

  • Identities: Ollie & Georgenote , Anti-Heroes, no secret identities.
  • Abilities: Ollie and George (collectively known as 'The Twins' for simplicities sake) possess a powerful link to one another, the potency of which increases and decreases depending on their proximity. Within a certain range of one another, they manifest incredible ESP abilities, such as telepathy, empathy, telekinesis, and a basic understanding of languages initially unknown to them by intense study of its written state or lengthened exposure to verbal forms, no matter how abstract it may seem at first. However, if the pair are forcefully separated, their powers will be nullified, and the longer they are without the other the more they will mentally degrade, eventually to the point where both will slip into a vegetative state. The only way to break them out of their respective comas is to reunite the pair, and it is rumoured that they are connected so strongly that if one was to die, the other would immediately follow.
  • Appearance: Both 4'5. Every single action of one is copied by the other, including their speech, which is spoken so perfectly simultaneous and matching in tone and inflection that it is near impossible to tell that it actually belongs to two people.
  • Personality: Due to their linked nature, it is only necessary to describe one set of behaviours, as both are effectively the same person. The Twins are mischievous, energetic, and somewhat naïve in nature, however they certainly have a lot of heart and caring towards other people, especially due to their enhanced empathy. When separated, they have no idea how to cope, as they literally rely on the other to survive, and they both shows signs of a severe emotional and psychological breakdown in the rare times they have to be temporarily pulled apart, becoming increasingly anxious and depressive until they eventually just cease functioning. It is noteworthy, though, that prolonged separation reveals that they do have a very mild sense of individuality, Ollie becoming angered and determined to reunite with his twin even through his distress while Harrison simply breaks down into a tearful state, unable to even speak or fight back. However, once reunited, they immediately snap into their previous behaviours, albeit maybe less sympathetic and much more active and assertive when fighting against whoever had decided it was a good idea to try and break them apart.
  • Background: Not much of the twin's respective histories are known, apart from the fact that they were previously conjoined by the navel and separated at an early age. This may have contributed to their incredible mental link, although not much is certain of how their powers function. They had met Alexandra when they were known as Antoine and Clément, and have developed a teasing yet simultaneously adoring and respectful kinship towards her during their stay at the adoption centre. Like Alexandra, they dropped their previous names when they were taken in by Valerie, instead taking the more appropriate-sounding names of Ollie and Harrison.

Breath of the Sun
#53: May 26th 2018 at 2:00:01 PM

Accepted.

Also just dropping this here.

Bootleg

  • Identity: Basil Adami, Villain, Public Identity
  • Abilities:
    • Full-Conversion Cyborg: Basil is more than human. A full-conversion cyborg, he can toss about small cars, leap dozens of feet in the air, and casually dodge bullets, or even walk through them if they're low enough caliber, though he's not invincible (plus he doesn't like getting bullet holes in his suits). His body is mostly an experimental carbon-composite that his father was working on, making him incredibly lightweight - as such, he's spec'ed for speed and agility rather than toughness.
    • Cyber Brain: His brain can connect to the internet and he can receive cell-signals, giving him a built in smartphone, though this makes him somewhat vulnerable to hacking. His eyes have been enhanced with built-in scopes for long range shooting, to the point he can snipe someone with his handgun. He also possesses infared vision and night vision.
    • Double Time: A special feature his father installed. By overclocking his internal processors he can approximately double his reaction and movement speed for brief periods. Doing this overheats his body, so he needs time to cool down.
    • Wire Dance: A monofilament wire with an edge measured in nanometers, about 3 meters long. He controls it as though it were an extension of his own body, likening it to a dancer's ribbon. He can quite easily slice an armored car in half with it, and it moves lightning-fast. Faster than Basil himself, even. This is his primary weapon.
    • Modded Thompson: A Thompson contender with magnetic accelerators in the barrel, making it like a mini-railgun. It can load both shotgun shells and armor-piercing rifle cartridges. Basil also carries explosive rounds and special electrical rounds, because you never know. Holds only one round, so he needs to reload it after every shot. As such, it's more of a secondary weapon, for when he needs a ranged option.
  • Appearance: A well-dressed, blond, tan man of Italian descent. He tends to go for a 'mafia' aesthetic in his suits.
  • Personality: To those who aren't on his shitlist, Basil is warm and friendly. He comes across as understanding and honorable, with a strong desire to do what's right. But this doesn't mean he's above breaking the law - especially when it comes to a little vigilante justice...
  • Background: Spoilers that probably will never be relevant  Basil appeared in Easton one day, as if from nowhere. No one's quite sure of his origins. He's been known to pal around with Apex, at times, and is believed to have been behind several high-profile assassinations.

BEHOLD THE KONDIMENT CREW (lack of alliteration purposeful simply to spite anyone reading their name)

Double Whammy

  • Identity: Carl Carlson, Villain, secret identity (if his brother didn't accidentally shout it every three seconds).
  • Abilities:
  • Appearance: A 37 year old man with a thick brown mustache, a less thick and heavily balding mop of brown hair, a less-than healthy body structure, a lime green and pink luchador outfit that much to everyone's displeasure leaves little to the imagination, and an old bandanna with eye holes cut out for a mask (he clearly ran out of money at the dollar store at that point). 5'2, wider than he is tall. Claims he has a sumo's muscle mass, in actuality can't sprint much more than 50 yards without blacking out. Also has a printout of a burger special stapled rather wonkily on the front of his costume.
  • Personality: A person not quite sane, clearly, yet somehow the straight man when compared to his brother, and the founding member of the Kondiment Crew (and proud of it). Has a fairly tactful mind, but is distracted constantly by his severely short temper. He has a tendency to take his job too seriously, and is highly convinced of his status as a high threat level supervillain, despite the fact that the Kondiment Crew only target fast food restaurants.
  • Background: Carl was your typically bored unemployed man questionably in the middle of suffering a midlife crisis when he entered a local fast-food joint with his brother, in the middle of pondering the theme of their soon-to-be supervillain team (they had recently lost three bets in a row and they felt more morally obligated out of pure shame to take the punishment for their loss at that point). Upon entering and taking their seats, however, they were suddenly struck with a grand epiphany, and promptly began reading through the menu instead, their theme finally found and their future codenames practically laid out in front of them on a deliciously laminated list. Carl managed to snag one of the better names before his brother, which goes to show what quality fast-food joint it was in the first place.

Ultra Triple Cheese Whopper Dopper Chicken Supreme With Extra Mayo UTCWDCSWEM Heart Attack

  • Identity: Karl Carlson, Villain, no secret identity.
  • Abilities:
    • Burger Manipulation: Karl has the ability to control burgers and their ingredients, from simple telekinetic movement to even their very properties. Such powers include being able to harden burger buns into a rock cake state, making them deadly projectile weapons, transforming sesame seeds into bullets, superheating patties to red-hot temperatures, and healing injuries at a rapid rate by applying plastic-wrapped cheese over the wound. Also, as his name suggests, any burger he makes contact with is practically made inedible by the sheer amount of cholesterol that is manifested within its ingredients, except for himself, oddly.
    • Appearance: 34 years old, not a single hair on his body, and decidedly more scrawny and tall than his brother, built like a bamboo shoot and having a staggering height of 6'6. Unlike Carl, does have quite a bit of strength compared to what one might expect, but has all the poise and grace of a decrepit giraffe. Wears a bubblegum pink vest, leather trousers, and a pale lavender sequined cape, with a decidedly more professional and flamboyant illustration of a highly stacked and highly unhealthy looking burger special stitched onto the back of said cape. Also has a belt with pouches entirely filled with squished burgers for ammunition.
  • Personality: Where his brother is a more subtle whackjob, Karl is one you could spot coming from practically a country away with his loud, childish shoutings and seemingly infinite energy. Incredibly bombastic and arrogant, although more akin to an attention-seeking kid screaming "LOOK AT ME" than a pride with any malice behind, and is generally well-meaning if it wasn't for his incredible naïveté. He does go uncharacteristically serious in the driver's seat, however, usually to everyone else's disturbance.
  • Background: Upon the suggestion to make a supervillain team from his brother, Karl was immediately on board, practically bouncing off the restaurant walls in excitement and instantly picking the longest name he could find on the menu, proudly bearing it like it was that of a Greek god and not a Friday special. Naturally, this was shortened to 'Heart Attack' within the space of about five minutes due to his brother's increasing frustration over mispronouncing his name. He was the one to suggest the Burgmobile, promptly taking his battered van and haphazardly sticking discarded offer posters he had found in the dumpster outside the fast-food joint onto it with great gusto and declaring it to be the newly founded Kondiment Crew's token vehicle. He was also the one to encourage Blüdlass onto the team, the latter of which is now regretting her decision immensely.

Blüdlass

  • Identity: Beatrix Dragon, Anti-Hero/Villain (flip-flops), no secret identity.
  • Abilities:
    • Enhanced Strength: Self-explanatory. Beatrix has heightened muscle power, enough to smash through concrete and shatter jaws with a single punch. She can lift a car with some effort to launch a short distance. Her strength also extends to her legs for increased jump height and speed.
    • Enhanced Endurance: Incredibly resistant to pain and damage; while attacks may pierce her skin, it takes a lot for something to actually have a detrimental effect to her unless she's being absolutely swarmed with consecutive injuries. Notably has absolutely no reaction to falling great heights. She sarcastically claims she has 'powerful ankles'.
    • Enhanced Regeneration: While unable to regenerate From a Single Cell, Beatrix is able to heal most of her surface wounds and some deeper gashes and cuts. However, this ability requires initial activation, so she has to take advantage of any quiet period in a battle. Her healing can also be interrupted if one is quick enough, although it is ill-advised as it tends to cause her to instinctively shift into a Blüdraige.
    • Improbable Aim: Beatrix has an unnatural ability to land otherwise nigh-impossible shots with her guns. While certainly not at Deadshot levels, it is enough for her to instinctively know where her guns are in relation to her targets location. This allows her to fire with incredible accuracy even in the middle of performing advanced acrobatics, and is skilled enough even to fire with her legs. Don't question how it works, it just does.
    • Blüdraige: Your typical 90's edgelord transformation An entirely original state that Beatrix may slip into in situations of high duress, powered by the amount of blood spilt onto her form. It is characterized by the manifestation of glowing red sigils and hieroglyphs across her entire skin, an aura of darkness surrounding her form, blackened sclera with scarlet irises, and a pasty white complexion. In this state, her strength, speed, endurance, healing, and improbable aiming skills are amped up to ridiculous degrees, although the Blüdraige will fade as soon as her immediate enemies are vanquished, the sigils fading and leaving her momentarily fatigued and vulnerable to attack. She claims to be able to slip into something called an 'Über Blüdraige' but the means of which haven't been clarified, usually due to being drowned out by her other teammate's shouting.
    • Appearance: 6'2. Has a habit of being drenched in blood one second and then being perfectly unkempt the next. Skin becomes pale and fully covered in glowing red hieroglyphs whilst in a Blüdraige.
    • Personality: Absolutely lost as to why and how she ended up stuck with the Kondiment Crew. She is the Straight Man to Carl's Straight Man to Karl, and can barely tolerate the pair. She truthfully wants nothing more than to have an excuse to butcher a load of baddies, and is desperate enough that she may end up doing so even if the villains are only informed to be. She has a sarcastic streak, mostly born out of frustration that she can never get through to the brothers, and tends to just act oblivious and go along with whatever they're saying whilst secretly writing backwards 'SAVE ME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD' messages in her own lifeblood onto the inside of the Burgmobile's window. Indeed, she is so borderline mental from overexposure to the brothers that if anyone was to so much as question why exactly she was part of such an unfitting team, she would find it excruciatingly difficult not to scream in hysterical joy and glomp said person out of a fit of pure desperation for interaction with someone with something vaguely resembling common sense.
  • Background: Beatrix had a stressful, twisted, and horrendous upbringing, and not much more has been able to be clarified by her due to the fact that past this point both of the brothers would have already fallen into a deep sleep out of boredom. Whatever her ghastly and allegedly pitiful childhood was, it somehow caused her to become your typical 90's grimdark Action Girl with a potential berserker/half-demon origin and yet simultaneously average enough to find it perfectly ordinary to casually walk into a fast-food joint for a cola after cutting an entire mercenary group into thin ribbons. Whether it be from exhaustion or the insanity of the Blüdraige not quite leaving her system, she absently accepted a request of what she thought was a serious assassin job only to swiftly realise what a colossal mistake she had made upon seeing their hastily 'constructed' supervillain vehicle. Why she hasn't simply killed the pair yet and fled is uncertain, perhaps out of a vague moral obligation not to or maybe even a reluctant fondness for the enthusiasm and pure-heartedness of the brother who had first requested her membership, but whatever the reason is, she still finds herself tagging along with them, despite her clear frustration with their antics.

  • Identity: Inspiration of Fischer Kingdom—a small cult...around Kirstin Fischer
    • Abilities: Not very proficient in a fight—unless Kirstin finds it fit to give them car armor, etc, but they are determined, especially if they're near cars (i.e. when 'she's watching over them'). But they are really good at driving, delivering cars, disassembling cars, and getting them into working order.
    • Powers: None
    • Weaknesses: They are rather obsessive. Absolutely nothing will deter them from their reverence and belief in Kirstin. (She could order them to jump in a lake and they would without hesitation. The only thing she cannot order them to do is stop worshiping her).
  • Appearance: Various; though often dressed in rags or overly flowery stolen robes and the like. While, most of them are homeless or nomadic, the inspiration has begun to spread to car owners—if only to get their vehicles back after Kirstin crashes them into bakeries.
  • Personality: Various, but mostly overly idealistic, and oblivious to disdain from Kirstin. They only really get angry on her behalf—even if they're inept at much besides delivery and repair and tinkering.
  • Background: The origin of the inspiration is Shrouded in Myth, (or a small group's Mushroom Samba...) but Kirstin has been THE WAY AND THE ONE for as long as they can remember. None of them have a fixed home, and they run a string of booths 'reading' cars for miracles while singing of the Way and the One. While not quite malicious so much as zealous, they do make a habit of 'acquiring car parts, and, should Kirstin smile on them, entire cars to make offerings to Kirstin.

  • Identity: Rolf Kometssen, Weaponer
  • Age: 25
  • Abilities:
    • Weaponmaster Half-Breed: Owing to his heritage through his father, he is half of a particularly strong Weaponmaster stock - this meaning he is around ten feet tall at full growth, heavily muscled by nature, and possessed of a violent disposition. He is inherently resistant to the powers and abilities of Gods, and Mythic or Legendary individuals.
    • Rudimentary Weapons: While he is nowhere near as refined as his father's people, he has managed to create a pair of metal gloves for his hands - the right hand channels his determination, the left channels his rage - creating distinct emotional energy blasts and constructs. His Weapons favor outright destructive force.
    • Tremendous Resilience: He is a juggernaut among men, and it takes a lot to restrain him, let alone take him down. This can actually cause him some trouble - it takes an outright chainsaw to give him a haircut, as anything else comes to pieces on so much as his hair.
    • Not So Almighty: Owing to exactly who his father really was, he can cause injury and actual damage to those otherwise immortal.
  • Appearance: Rolf is absolutely enormous, standing taller than most men and being much heavier - weighing in at 520 pounds, 10 foot or so tall, and seemingly made of muscle and menace. He's cleanshaven, has a brutish, square-jawed face, blond hair, and gray eyes. Due to his size and scale, he has few clothes he can wear, mostly just wearing his prison garbs - which had to be tailor made for him, covering everything but his head, his shirt tattered quite a lot, pants likewise, and shoots more or less just reinforced boxes made for him.
  • Personality: He is by and large shaped by his temper and disposition - Weaponmasters, even their half human spawn, are by nature violent and quick to anger by and large. Rolf is no exception - he responds to aggression with more of it, and is casual in his application of violence. He does however seem to identify with people who aren't really given much chance, unsurprising considering his lot, and in particular seems to gravitate to the friendless. While he tends to be short on words, and prefer action, he does occasionally show a more introspective side. As well as some element of...not quite remorse, but more regret for the fact he's had so little of a real life. Possibly or possibly not due to his lineage he is an ardent anti-theist - he hates religion and gods. "Far as I ever saw it, priests used religion to do one of two things - justify why they were on top of that altar boy, or justify why I had to suffer so much - my "sins" demand it."
  • Background:
    • Young Rolf was born tumultuously - his mother was allegedly raped by "a giant", a claim that got her doubted, claimed to be insane by her husband, and thrown in a lunatic asylum. She died upon giving birth to her abnormally strong and large son. Rolf even in his younger years defaulted to anger and acting out.
    • He was adopted out and put in a large number of foster homes, shipped around, and ended up in America. None of these homes really treated him very well, and all of his stays inevitably ended with the fated result of Bullying a Dragon. That is, Rolf fighting back and getting thrown out for it.
    • Due to bullies being a particularly lackwitted sort about who they target, he was also increasingly a target for the bullies and meanspirited kids as he grew up. They loved picking on the weird, grumbly kid who always talked about how you didn't wanna do this...
    • Rolf finally abandoned any semblance of control by the time he was around 15, and brutally tore one of the jocks who picked on him a lot in half, right in front of his friends and girlfriend...and then stomped the head into paste. This was a big introduction into how unearthly strong he was. By the time the police arrived, he had taken out yet more of his frustrations on the other bullies.
    • The mundane police were not quite well equipped enough to deal with him - and they too ended up victims of the young Rolf's rage, bullets outright bouncing off of him. It was only when the officers equipped to handle superhumans showed up that Rolf was brought in. He's been in a supermax prison ever since, viewed as basically the monster in the basement - kept in a level that consists only of him, due to the one time he was allowed to be with other prisoners. He promptly revealed his gloves, constructed somehow, and almost escaped.
    • As it is, he remains a captive. It's common knowledge that containment breach on Rolf is an utter worst case scenario.

Dark Web

  • Identity: Ada Elm, hero,
  • age: 16
  • powers:
    • technopathy: Ada's primary ability is to be able to alter the coding of computers mentally. It needs to have some sort of computer chip with coding in it to alter and more advanced programs take more time and effort to hack, but once she has access, she can do what she likes with the programming, creating, deleting or altering lines of code. She can either be a Walking Techbane or a Walking Techfix. She can also give things more advenced coding.
    • firewall: Ada is naturally surrounded by a normally invisible barrier that reduces the damage done by attacks. She can manipulate this barrier to become larger or protect others.
    • unlimited internet: Ada can get good wifi anywhere, be it deep underground or in a remote desert.
    • Magitek infuse: She can turn regular tech into magitek, enhancing it's capabilities.
  • Skills:
    • Ada is naturally good with computers and pretty good with maths.
  • Equipment:
    • Her smartwatch that she uses to transform and also, combined with her powers, creates a solid holographic interface that can be used like a laptop. It can also be used to run various programs.
    • A hoverboard for transport.
    • Various other robots she built.
  • weaknesses:
    • Ada is not the fittest person and is not a fast runner.
    • She can have trouble seeing without her glasses.
    • She also finds it difficult to see without her glasses.
  • Appearance: Rather short for her age. civillian: [1] hero: [2]
  • Personality: Ada can be an excitable Genki Girl, especially when around some impressive looking science/tech thing. However, she can also be a bit of a recluse at times, preferring to stay in her house, socializing with her robots and on the internet instead of face to face. She can be socially awkward at times, and has a tendency to monologue about subjects she enjoys. She can also be impulsive at times, acting first and thinking later. Ada is also a geek and a science nerd.
  • Background: Ada lived in a flat in easton with her parents, who worked on robots at a local lab. She had always had a penchant for technology and jumped at the idea of being allowed to visit her parents at work. They were hardly ever around the house, anyway, so it would be a good time to meet with them too. The people at the labs had been working on some magitek that allowed control over computers. It was a metallic device to be worn on the hand that allowed the wielder control over technology. While Ada was looking at it, there was an accident in a nearby room where there had been some experiments going on with a magitek laser cannon, which the scientists had lost control of. Ada, being the impulsive preteen she was, decided to put the tech-controlling device on and managed to redirect the laser until the building had been evacuated. The cannon had then exploded. Ada woke up in hospital a few days later, having survived the explosion, but the magitek glove had fused with her hand and she had gained it's powers. She decided that she would use her time to go into superheroics. It had been a lifelong dream of hers. She found an odd smartwatch in her parent's room one day and found that, if worn on the wrist of her hand that had been fused with the glove, her powers were enhanced greatly. The watch also had a few other effects, inclufing a file on it that, when activated, allowed her to transform.

AKA Nixer
#60: Jun 14th 2018 at 3:10:14 PM

  • Identity: NIKA-4note  "Nikki", Lawful Good, no secret identity.
  • Abilities: As a biomechanical creature, Nikki frequently tends to overlap on what she can do between man and machine, having incredible physical precision and stamina, yet also possessing the ability to process regular food and drink and convert it into usable energy. Nikki's outer layers, while synthetically grown out of biological replications of actual human skin and keratin, is lined with visual alteration technology which can allow her to morph her physical appearance to a degree if necessary, or simply to mask minor scuffs and wounds. She also has a fully functioning nervous system, which she can disable in emergencies, plus the ability to produce tears in response to the correct emotional stimuli like that of humans, which she is very proud of. As a NIKA model specifically, she has an external jack on the nape of her neck, allowing her to plug into other machines with similar connectors (along with the experimental 'learning helmets') to effectively interface with them, granting her either control over the technology or at least a strong mental connection to its functionality (or in the learning helmet's case, a minor link to the person's electrical pulses within their mind). However, the jack isn't universal and is technically only supposed to be used with the aforementioned learning helmets, and so Nikki has to rely on her admittedly overly large collection of adapter cables to connect to other technologies, which she may have to end up meticulously searching through to find the correct connector. As a hidden precaution, added in secret by the head scientist while privately issuing alterations to her during the early testing protocols, Nikki also has a pair of energy weapons fitted into her forearms, able to be ejected out through the skin in the event she needs to protect herself.
  • Appearance: 5'5, modeled after a 25 year old human female of apparently mixed heritage. Highly expressive, and no signs of mechanical stiffness in movements, although can sometimes be eerily precise and a little too smooth on occasion.
  • Personality: Although initially coming off as overly cheery and somewhat naïve, Nikki is highly intelligent and observant, having discovered that her friendliness and high enthusiasm was one of the most effective mindsets in general to get on people's good side. However, she can occasionally push it a little too far into the obnoxious territory, as she hasn't quite figured out the correct balance just yet. Incredibly caring and selfless, she's the type of person to gravitate towards the quietest person in the bar and buy them a drink, if only in an attempt to see them smile in the knowledge that she has made a friend. She is in fact so reliant on friendships that she seems to have almost developed a phobia of being alone for extensive periods of time, becoming increasingly depressed and reverting into a more robotic mindset the longer she is isolated from people. She is also very focused on her individuality, and can be quite hurt by people comparing her to little more than an appliance or machine, even viewing the few other NIKA prototypes as her siblings, and has developed a biting sarcastic defense whenever belittled or otherwise stereotyped. After her teaching career was terminated, Nikki has become much more adaptive and free-spirited, expressing her desire to try new things at any opportunity she can.
  • Background: Half born, half constructed, Nikki was a fourth generation prototype for the NIKA project - an experimental synthetic human/biomechanical android program with the purpose of creating autonomous, intelligent, and overall humanlike knowledge allocators for public use, with possible jobs including that of tour guides, librarians, secretaries, corporate workers, and in Nikki's case; teachers. Nikki worked in an experimental testing school designed specifically with her in mind, the assigned students (who were being payed extensive amounts of money for their attendance in the procedures) having to wear special 'learning helmets' to allow her to jack into their neural processes and upload information. However, this specific subproject was abandoned after a few years of testing due to concerns regarding the connected NIKA's potential ability to interfere with the student's regular brain functions, as there was a very real risk of the androids inadvertently causing severe brain damage such as strokes or hemorrhaging while interfacing. Nikki, along with the other NIKAs who had been assigned to this project, were under previously established sentient rights due to their biological components and humanlike tendencies, and thus couldn't be terminated for both ethical and legal reasons. As such, they were instead allowed to go out and either take other NIKA specialist jobs or find their own path in life, the latter option Nikki took with great enthusiasm. Since then, she has had great joy in job hopping and general experimentation of differing experiences (legal experiences, keep your pants on), yet still occasionally substitutes in more traditional teaching programs for when she finds herself missing the blackboard.

  • Identity: General Noka Anok, Neutral, Public Identity.
  • Abilities:
    • Hardlight Generation: Due to his quad set of hollow organs located in his abdomen, Noka has the ability to ionize the air inside these sacs into plasma and then manoeuvre it around and out of his body and through his skin (which is naturally nigh impervious to heat as a result, yet still malleable enough to allow the plasma to sift through). By carefully controlling the output and focusing the density of the plasma, he can cause it to congeal into basic constructs, his most used being a twin set of ringed blades that have a similar likeness to that of the Indian chakram, which he uses both to shred his opponents at close range via twirling them around his limbs unpredictably or using them as incredibly effective throwing weapons, his combat style usually being incredibly flowing and assault-focused and made even more dangerous by his usage of his own developed thrust technique (in which he propels himself at high speeds towards his target through the air by blasting plasma in the opposite direction of his destination in order to cut his opponent to pieces on the way past). As a well-trained General, his constructs are visibly expertly crafted - contrasting with his relative Rine Anok who has a natural biological advantage yet has become lackluster in training his constructs as a result, Noka has perfected his techniques as to avoid the wavering, instable bubbling effect that even the more professional soldiers have, creating a much cleaner, clearer, and more efficient construction in the process.
  • Equipment:
    • Rift Ripper: After Rine Anok arrived back from the alternate Earth he had inadvertently transported himself to, the original Rift Ripper was brought into the attention of the Aentolin council, and subsequently to the House of Tehk for research. Sure enough, they managed to adapt and replicate the design to better outfit a Kaydenite, and have developed the models to the point of widespread use under specific permission. Noka is one of many who has received one, and as such can transport himself via interdimensional gateway to anyplace he has coordinates to.
    • Hardlight Pistol: A failsafe in the event that his constructs don't function properly for some reason, Noka can fall back on his plasma channeling gun, which is specifically designed with the Kaydenite's abilities in mind and as such lacks any form of ammunition. Instead, a Kaydenite siphons off a portion of Hardlight into the gun and lets it build up into a shot in order to fire, hence making the weapon useless to anyone who lacks Kaydenite biology. The Hardlight shot technique can also be used without a separate tool (as seen in Rine and Kyxe) however due to Noka's lack of training with the manoeuvre as well as his preference for accuracy over raw, chaotic power he prefers to carry it.
  • Appearance: 5'7. Almost never shows any expression apart from one of bland neutrality. Possesses a slim, slightly androgynous build.
  • Personality: Due to being raised by the militaristic Anok family, Noka is clipped, to the point, expressionless, and logical. Rarely does he dwell on impractical theory and complex strategy in a situation if he feels as if the shorter and much more efficient answer is right there in front of him, the attitude of which has given him a reputation of ruthlessness and even recklessness on occasion. Nonetheless, he is highly effective, seeming to have an incredible intuition of just what to do in the middle of even the most tense situation, and has a strong sense of duty and protectiveness towards the common citizen (even if his aloof demeanour doesn't make it seem so at first). Possessing a streak for cleanliness and organization, Noka can barely stand slovenliness in terms of people's homes or public places, and as such may even give into his urge for order and spontaneously begin cleaning the immediate area without permission. Despite his outward appearance of an efficient soldier, Noka is inwardly a broken man, and quick to become emotional in the event that the right buttons are pressed. It is very rare that he experiences such strong senses, and is either violently dangerous at best or pitiful at worst as a result of him being unable to handle himself. At the end of the day, however, Noka lives up to his reputation as one of Aentolin's most respected generals, even if inside he feels barely worthy of the title of private.
  • Background: Raised in the House of Anok to a branch family, Noka was quick to recognize the overall distaste surrounding those not of the main lineage of Kayden's prominent houses. As a result, he dedicated himself to becoming as respected as some of the most famous (and infamous) members of his family's main branch, including that of his uncle Ekan Anok. However, over time the families seemed to split away further, especially so after the disastrous free-for-all that occurred during the banished warlord and his own relative Rok'n Anok's ruthless attack on his home city, which resulted in the tragic death of his only recently discovered valen Ilké Zyla. After the villain's death at the hands of the main Anok branch's heir, Rine, Noka approached his training with an even greater determination, even sneaking out past the Equator Wall in order to slaughter as many Altürgone as possible as a form of revenge for his loss. Over time, during his cousin Rine's absence from Kayden, Noka has been steadily rising in the ranks behind the scenes, quickly gaining a reputation as one of Aentolin's fastest and most ruthlessly efficient new generals in all its history, and is starting to catch up and even overtake some of the more legendary figures of old. Most recently after Rine's return with a new technology, Noka has been assigned along with a few other Kaydenites to explore other dimensions for research on their inhabitants and possibly persuade them for potential alliances in taking down the Altürgone threat, more specifically as a secret backup to Rine Anok and Kyxe Seng while they examine the realm that includes the rapidly growing location of interest to the Council; Easton City. Unfortunately, it seems like a couple of Altürgone have snuck through with him...

  • Identity: Shamus ‘Shae’ Sullivan, Villain, Public Identity.
  • Abilities:
    • Sharpness Manipulation: Shae has the ability to alter the surfaces of any object via the use of physical contact, altering them to the molecular level to allow them to become either razor-sharp or as blunt as a bat. He can leave this effect on objects for up to an hour before the molecules revert themselves to their previous state, allowing him to set traps on anything from doorhandles to table edges to even floorboards, turning them into suddenly dangerous weapons that can cut through skin with ease. He can also use the logical reverse of his powers in order to make any opponent's knives or edged weapons temporarily useless – while although they could still use them for clouting him across the face it's much better than getting stabbed in the skull. Unfortunately, this little trick requires him to make physical contact as mentioned before, and so he'll have to suffer through physical injury to cause the effect (not that he particularly minds that much). This power also extends to himself, so he can effectively become a living razor if he has no weapons available or is at risk of being captured.
    • Implacability: Whether it be from sheer strength of will or another supernatural power, Shae can simply keep going even when being pummeled, stabbed, shot, bleeding out, losing limbs or organs, or any other physical abuse. He doesn't seem to be swayed from pain, and may have a slightly accelerated healing ability (although not enhanced; wounds will still scar over or not heal properly if the damage is extensive enough).
    • Radio Frequency Communication: An odd one. By using a metal object as a conduit, Shae can transmit his thoughts to electronic systems in a wide area, increased by the largeness of his makeshift aerial. Usually, he only uses this ability for taunting purposes, and it certainly doesn't help enforce his sanity when someone stumbles across him speaking into his knife like it were a telephone. His communications can be scrambled and distorted if he wishes, and he can suffer severe migraines if a disruptive frequency is sent his way, which will cause him immediately to break out of his connection in pain.
  • Appearance: 5'4, 17 years of age. Thin build. Walks with a slight stagger and has a constant habit of breaking into unhinged, demented grins.
  • Personality: To call Shae unhinged would be a gross understatement. His whole reasoning is that he feels unjustifiably opposed by the universe in its adversity towards him – while in the reality that he is too petty to accept it is in fact the exact opposite. He is deranged, sadistic, and ruthless – possessing an incredibly disproportionate sense of revenge and a built up reserve of neverending spite towards those who dare mock him 'further'. Thankfully, he is also reckless, prone to emotional outbursts and poorly conceived conclusions brought about by a twisted, superiority-complex driven rationale, and also has a bad habit of actively announcing and taunting the public regarding his crimes – sometimes before he has even committed them. It is to be reluctantly admitted that he is at least determined, the times where he does concoct a plan turning out to be some of his most effective, successful acts. If he could only transmit this tactical genius into a regular habit, plus attach it to a more stable mind, he could potentially be even more dangerous, but as he is now he is little more than your average, self-centered and truly unjustifiable serial killer with no real humanity and a few flashy tricks up his sleeve.
  • Background:
    • Shamus was quite a timid, even decent kid growing up, tending to shy away from most people and possessing a great empathy and a selfless attitude. However, he never truly knew how to let go of things, and over time he began to show signs of increasing instability and pent-up frustration over incidents and mishaps years ago that he should have gotten past ten times over. It eventually got to the point that he had to visit several psychiatrists for his reserved and self-destructive behaviors, including locking himself in his room for nearly whole days and gradually becoming more and more reserved and introverted, losing contact with the outside world. However, the advice the psychiatrists gave him, while indeed useful and encouraging, apparently didn't sit well with Shae, as his symptoms seemed to worsen as if in unconscious rebellion against changing himself, for better or worse. Eventually, he announced his desire to move out, much to his family's shock, but they made no move to stop him, potentially in an effort to try and keep him as happy as possible, but Shae once again noted their quick acceptance and subconsciously began to doubt his family's feelings and love towards him, even if it was as far from the truth as possible. Moving into a cheap apartment in the inner city, Shae made an effort to become more proactive and outgoing, which ended poorly as the small group he came across and chose to regularly associate with turned out to be thrillseekers and party-goers, quite possibly the opposite of himself by a tremendous degree. Nonetheless, in hopes of acceptance in the group, he continued trailing after them in their activities, gradually becoming more and more fatigued and approaching the brink of losing his mind after some of their antics resulted in substance abuse and reckless activities, culminating in a last-ditch attempt to regain a sense of normality to his life by quietly asking one of the female members of the group out on a date. She politely declined.
    • Having hidden his instability and inability to let go of issues in his past, no matter how mundane, the group had no idea how much Shae was affected by this simple, respectable denial. Being so used to relaxation in his own worsening mind had evidently made him unable to deal with any form of adversity in life, and so from a combination of irrational frustration and a twisted viewpoint of the world, Shae snapped, seemingly awakening supernatural abilities as well in response.
    • Coming to the emotionally driven, poorly thought out conclusion that the group had been toying with him, he returned back to them, ignoring their apologies and concern for him over his apparently poor reception of being rejected and brutally murdering three of them while their guard was down, severely injuring two others in the process – one of which was the woman he had originally asked out. Letting the other escape, he tracked the former down and viciously mutilated her in broad daylight, dumping her corpse off of a bridge and managing to flee the scene in time before the police could arrive. His apartment was quickly discovered, and so he moved out in favour of an old steel mill in the docks near Easton Harbour, setting up a new base of operations there and using his newfound privacy and free time in order to fully settle into his new, broken personality as a blood-hungry serial killer. Now, he has come forth reborn, craving recognition and attention that he believes he rightfully deserves, and is going to receive it by any means necessary.

  • Identity: Omiros the Merchant, villain
  • Abilities: None himself.
  • Appearance: An otherwise nondescript, clean-shaven fair man who never seems to remove his sunglasses and goes around in a suit more expensive than most new vehicles.
  • Personality: Omiros considers himself a consummate business man, if a noble one because of other people's finicky tendencies. He is soft-spoken and serene in his dealings, even if he has to have people disposed of. The business is cut throat. He's also become attached to the finer things in life, including his acquisitions.
  • Background: An Intrepid Merchant who hit it big in the aftermath of the Caucasus Incident. Namely, he connected many of the undead returnees to families (rarely their own), kept them stitched up, and managed warranties and support, for 'small' fees. After the Dnieper River incident, he made yet more acquisitions; though he only lends these out. Omiros likes to keep his pocket soldiers to himself, even if they are a very big moneymaker. The windfalls kept coming with the public awareness of and spread of Conculium.

Identity: Trickster (Anti-Hero)

Abilities:
  • Powers:
    • Can't Trust Your Mind: Trickster is able to create illusions that affect all senses. However, there are often small flaws in the illusions (like fires not emitting smoke, objects missing shadows, etc). They are also able to affix attention to themselves using this ability, creating a trance-like effect where witnesses are more susceptible to suggestions.
    • Smoke And Mirrors: Trickster is able to walk on air and walls, their feet trailing black smoke. Additionally, when pursuing someone or being pursued, Trickster is able to create copies of themselves in a giant puff of smoke. The copies will then go in different directions to herd the chased person into the real Trickster's clutches/mislead the pursuers. However, the real Trickster's feet will not be trailing smoke and the fake Tricksters aren't corporeal, disappearing in a puff of smoke if touched.
    • Nightmare Apparition: Provided someone feels sufficiently guilty/afraid of retribution, Trickster can manifest in their dreams. Trickster has to be meditating somewhere nearby. Disrupting the meditation will end the "nightmare."
    • Now You See Me, Now You Don't: Whenever they are not in sight (this includes blinking), Trickster can teleport to any place in their line of sight/are familiar with.
    • Shapeshifting: Trickster can turn into animals (as long as they are regarded as "sinister") and take the forms of different people, although their yellow slitted eyes will always remain.
  • Weaknesses:
    • To Plead Not Guilty/To Fear Not: If someone doesn't feel guilty about the crimes they've committed, Trickster cannot enter their dreams and the flaws in their illusions will be more obvious. Similarly, if someone isn't afraid of retribution, these things will also happen.
  • Skills:
    • Fiddling & Piping: Strangely enough, Trickster fiddles and pipes very well. They often pair this with their illusion powers to aid in creating the trance-like effect.
    • Speaks Many Languages: Trickster speaks many languages, particularly those of Nordic and Gaelic roots.
  • Equipment:
    • The Trickster's Crooked Staff: This is a 5 ft. long shepherd's crook with an uncanny durability. It has the ability to sprout vines from itself and can also accelerate plant growth in the immediate vicinity to ludicrous degrees. Trickster uses it mainly for dramatic effect, but they can fight with it if they must.
    • Fiddle & Panpipe: These are a fiddle and a panpipe, both apparently of middling quality, yet Trickster manages to make them sound good through skill. Trickster is able to summon one of these instruments at a time in a small burst of black smoke.

Appearance: The Trickster appears as a (4 ft. tall, 80 lbs.) girlish boy/boyish girl in long, tattered patchwork robes with a shock of wild white hair and slitted yellow eyes. They go barefoot and carry around a shepherd's crook.
Personality: Trickster is a mischievous entity, first and foremost. They really like to have their fun, and it just happens to involve preying on the guilt and secret fears of evildoers. However, they do differentiate between guilt over something that could've been controlled and something that couldn't, and so generally go for the former (unless the person is absolutely abhorrent). They have a deep respect for other people that can match their scheming—not many, and they also have to have some kind of code of honor. They mainly try to scare evildoers into reforming, but if that doesn't work, they try to bedevil them in other ways. Usually, that doesn't involve hurting them. Trickster is horrified and greatly angered by villains who commit crimes without any kind of guilt, because, to them, that's not natural.
Background:
  • Trickster is the Emotional Embodiment Entity of fear of retribution. They were "born" around the same time as Magpie from the EEE's fear of the Weaponmasters' rebellion. They have worked with Magpie on several occasions and the two respect each other.
  • Upon hearing of the many villains plaguing Easton, they headed there to hopefully meet up with Magpie and "have some fun," as they put it.

  • Identity: The Anti-Creator
  • Abilities:
  • Null and Void: The Anti-Creator has dominion over all that isn’t, all that cannot be observed, and all that should not be observed. Hence, he has power over all things that do not exist any more, along with the ability to add to that - and as a necessary side effect, he has complete Ripple Effect Proof Memory. It matters not how many times edits are made, the Anti-Creator remembers all.
  • Power of Annihilation: The Anti-Creator has power over Anti-Matter, Dark Matter, Dark Energy, Strange Matter, and other such forms of matter and energy. As a result, he can wield absolutely devastating power over the universe. Most of his attacks tend to consume and destroy matter, leaving nothing but black smoke.
  • Pre-Creation Armor: The Anti-Creator is actually a malignant energy being, but due to its peculiar existence it needs to contain itself within the shell of odd metal it brought with it. The armor is almost indestructible, and would need nigh incomprehensible force brought against it to rupture it. Only his own armor can contain his existence - nothing else can contain him except the Primordial Sanction he currently exists under.
  • Master of Primordial Shadows: The Anti-Creator can control and send forth the vicious shadows that have existed since before the Universe itself existed - these “Shadow Demons” by and large seem to be two dimensional beings, slithering across the ground like normal shadows until they need to emerge. Their very existence is toxic - contact with Shadow Demons proves fatal. Every time the Anti-Creator consumes life into his Strange Matter Universe, every life consumed no matter how small is translated into a Shadow Demon. Consider how many Shadow Demons this amounts to.
  • Destructive Creation: The Anti-Creator is actually capable of returning life to people, but this life is perverse and born of the same sort of darkness that squirms within the Shadow Demons. As a result, everyone living courtesy of the Anti-Creator functions as an additional set of his eyes and ears. And, should he choose so, an additional mouth.
  • Dimensional Gateways: The Anti-Creator is capable of bringing people to his own world(s), and taking them from any worlds he has full access to.
  • Appearance: Covered in white and light blue armor, for all that the Titans and various others speak of him like a devil figure, he looks like an angelic entity...except for the dark red and black energy surging from his visor. The mouthpiece resembles teeth melted together into one long calcified piece each. His armor seems to have a somewhat baroque sensibility to it, and at the elbow and knee area there is a slight open area where energy emits outward. Each hand has what looks like a blood red ruby at the center.

  • Personality: The Anti-Creator claims that it is just doing what it is supposed to be doing, and reducing the amount of strain by living beings on the universe - as well as administrating over his Strange Matter Universe he is mostly bound to. This becomes more obviously a lie the more he acts. The Anti-Creator is sadistic in many ways, including brutal and pointless senses - he will give a singular little hope spot and then senselessly and remorselessly crush it for his own amusement. As far as he is concerned, humanity, gods and Titans all are mere ants, crawling around on what SHOULD be something that belongs to him. “Query, Mortal: would you be angry if your apartment was disinfected of ticks and termites? This is what my invasion accomplishes - disinfection. The fact I enjoy crushing the life from you lowly forms of existence merely means your deaths will be painful and terrifying to observe.” The Anti-Creator deeply enjoys being feared, and actively tries to not only make his destructive acts painful, but to strike fear in the hearts of mortals.

  • Background: One of the most powerful beings that existed before the proper material universe, the Anti-Creator viewed with disdain the obsession the Titans had with stories. He crushed them under his heel as long as he could, intending to make all they knew “servitude to the Anti-Creator.” However eventually, the Anti-Creator was beaten back and the Titans created the universe...however, a large section of the nothingness that existed prior was forced in, and the Anti-Creator contained his energy form within mechanical armor. However for the most part he was sealed away from the other universes, due to his sheer threat to them. However a scientist named Aecthon the Brilliant on what would become Alqobia cracked the seal in his effort to see what came before the universe. The Anti-Creator thus dragged his whole planet into a state of crossover with the Strange Energy Universe he ruled. Aecthon was thrown from his world and would ultimately see his planet come to be ruled by the Weaponmasters, while the Anti-Creator schemed to exert his power over the main universe. Creating an offshoot of his Shadow Demons called Dream Eaters, he sent them sprawling through space to Earth. They were to be the first iteration of his ambitions for that planet...

The Skinwalker

  • Identity: Hok'ee, Villain, semi-secret identity.note
  • Abilities:
    • Assimilation: By usage of the victim's pelts, Hok'ee can shift into the form of whomever and whatever he wishes, provided he kills them beforehand. By goring out the inner organs of a corpse, he can take the outer layer of flesh and apply it over his transitional form, which then proceeds to drastically alter his physiology through supernatural means into a perfect replica of his victims, gaining both their knowledge and the ability to mimic their voice to an uncanny precision, with the only reliable way to tell that Hok'ee has taken a victim being the occasional glint of red light reflected off of the cornea of the assimilated eyeball. However, Hok'ee can only shift into one form at a time, and the transformation process can be rather extensive and requires him to shed the outer layers of his previous form in the process. As a result, he usually keeps an extensive collection of pelts and skins for repeated usage, stored in the basement of an abandoned house in the Easton slums.
    • Pseudo-Immortality: Hok'ee's forbidden dabbling in the dark arts has granted him the ability to completely ignore physical injuries and trauma, no matter the extent of the damage. This essentially means that even if he is little more than a writhing globule of flesh, he will continue to live on until he can regain his full form; preferably by the incredibly slow process of latching onto a human and gradually devouring their mass from the inside out, assimilating them in the process (although this is will require him to mentally combat the original owner, and he is at risk of being further damaged if he is mistaken for a tumour or some other growth and bombarded with radiotherapy). While he cannot regenerate his wounds normally, every new assimilation of a body rejuvenates and re-energizes him as well as giving him a new disguise to rest in.
    • Unforeseen State: Hok'ee's transitional form is nothing more than a mere husk meant to somewhat shrink down his true state to better fit inside pelts and skins, and although it is indeed inhumanly fast and agile, its existence is clearly a drastically suppressed state in comparison to what an ancient witch should be able to do. This is for good reason – as Hok'ee's actual body is currently a barely humanoid mass of fleshy parts and partially absorbed faces, easily eight foot tall and a dangerous wielder of razor sharp claws, teeth, and antlers, oddly enough – possibly the result of flawed transformations in the past. It seems as if Hok'ee used to neglect the usage of skins in his transformation rituals in the case of more traditional shapeshifting spells – except he clearly suffered the consequences of missing an important step and payed the price of mutating his original body beyond recognition. In his unforeseen state, Hok'ee's strength and speed are amplified to superhuman levels, and he possesses the ability to devour and directly morph into whatever beast takes his fancy without the usage of pelts and skins (however his form will be even further warped afterwards).
  • Appearance:
    • Original State: [1]
    • Transitional State (Suppressed Form): [2]
    • Unforeseen State (Unsuppressed Form): [3]
  • Personality: While previously Hok'ee was a cold, yet curious witch aiming to reach the extent of his abilities and beyond, his dabbling in the dark arts has ended up warping and twisting his mind into little more than a distinctly sadistic, instinct driven beast. Hok'ee shows no signs of remorse or even acknowledgement of his actions, simply moving from one victim to the next like some sort of machine. His personality and behaviour is made even harder to pinpoint by the fact that he perfectly mimics his assimilated victim's own personalities and behaviours, meaning that any knowledge of his true intentions will have to be gleaned by observation of his transitional and unforeseen states. That said, this mockery of a human being shows signs of habitual, ritualistic behaviour – excluding that of his skinwalking and cannibalistic practices; Hok'ee seems to regularly return to the forests on the outskirts of Easton, sometimes with the freshly gored-out internal organs of his latest victims. This seems to imply he is working for some sort of higher power, but it is unclear.
  • Background: While little is known of Hok'ee's origins on a personal level, multiple Native American tribes have passed on his story across generations as a cautionary tale. Consistency varies, but usually Hok'ee is depicted as a ruthless young warrior grimly fascinated by the practices of his local witch doctor, and who soon began to mimic the shaman and developed skills in the darkest of supernatural forces. It is around this point that the legends begin to drastically veer off from one another in terms of detail – some saying how his own experimentation caused his grotesque mutation, while others say he made a deal with some unearthly force – but the end result is always consistent: Hok'ee became a mutated parody of humanity, his mental faculties apparently all but having vanished in favour of animalistic instinct and an insatiable urge for blood and destruction. The tribes have a great dread for the creature, and have rarely voiced much details regarding Hok'ee – but after the Skinwalker's recent reappearance around the Easton area they have begun to desperately cry out in warning. Some say to hunt it down and entrap it, others urge for the inhabitants to evacuate the entire city. But one thing stands out the most – that none of them have breathed a word about the possibility of killing it.

  • Identity: Tamara Alkhion / Mystery Babylon (villain)
  • Abilities:
    • Uncanny Lineage: Tamara has a most unusual lineage - she is an Amazon on her mother's side, and a Daeva on her father's side. As a result of this and her mother's familial occult dealings, she has a rather convoluted ancestry. Through this, she has access to her father's abilities, and her mother's super strength, super speed, super toughness and healing.
    • Goblet of Filth: Keeping with the Biblical Myth of her nature, she carries with her a goblet that contains "the filth of her actions". This filth can have a number of effects on people based on how well they "take" to it. More heroic people will undergo a lot of Body Horror and eventually explode messily, while those of darker inclinations end up empowered by it and changed in a few ways.
    • Scion of the Anti-Creator: Due to the various complications of her lineage, she is comparable to a priestess of the Anti-Creator, and so, has by birth a certain measure of his powers. Control of them is another matter. She actually teleported half of her wet nurse's body to another world by accident shortly after she was born.
    • Degradation Inclination: She seems to have an effect on those around her, making them more inclined to sexually deviant acts, licentious behavior, criminally amoral behavior, disturbed acts and so on. The more time that is spent around her, the more of an effect she has, until her filth overtakes them. She is the mother of all prostitutes, after all.
    • Mother of Abominations of the Earth: She can create some...distinctly odd abominations. It seems they emerge from what passes for her Khvarenah, and are created either one at a time (allowing for more "personalization") or in bulk (resulting in more of a mass produced look).
    • Dark Essence: Owing to her parentage, she can manipulate her shadow into acting as a constant, shapeshifting force.
  • Appearance: A nearly albine looking young woman of a very shapely, attractive form, her face is beautiful, but her eyes tell the truth - they're the same shade of inky darkness as the Anti-Creator's primordial darkness. Her hair is long, dark, and seems to be capable of moving on its own. She always dresses very much like a "slut" - though if someone accuses her of such, her reaction is basically "oh, thank you for noticing. I hoped for that reaction - do I pique your interest?"
  • Personality: She acts every bit the flirtatious, sexually open woman - she literally has no shame, and is utterly willing to indulge in every urge she feels. It should not be said that she is vapid, however - on the contrary, owing to her feeling she has a myth to live up to, she has means and capabilities so as to actually make cavorting with Kings possible. She's multilinguistic, well studied, and very verbose, capable in speech and persuasion. She is proudly amoral, believing that tying oneself to notions of right and wrong just make someone "need a reason to do something. People who always need a reason to do something? Boring." She believes her dark measures ultimately do people a favor, freeing them from "conventionality".
  • Background: She came from a rather astonishingly normal start. Her mother lived the life of a single woman in New York, though with some darker inclinations that foreshadowed what path the young Tamara would follow. Tamara was apparently a well to do, well educated girl, very bright according to her teachers. After high school, she fell in with a strange cult. At first she was mystified by it, but they attempted to make her nothing but the toy of the group's leader. It was during this trying experience that she awoke to a vision of her "dark father" and her mother confessed to a life spent pursuing occult power, and ultimately the connection with her father. Tamara decided with such a past, she would not settle for merely being the toy of a cult leader. Instead, she used her power on him, bringing out her infamous goblet and forcing its filth down the cult leader's throat. From then on, she lived a life of adventure, crime, corruption and "experimentation". A life that brought her, where else, to Easton.
