-sigh- I guess that’s what happens when you get into fights and brawls all the time, Maleficent. For what it’s worth, you did survive quite a long time, but I’m still hella salty over you killing Light.

So it looks like I’ll just cheer for Tomura, then! Go, go, make Zurg and your son proud!

Oh wow, I thought Tomura would actually be glad that SCP-682 killed Regula. I wonder what it did to tick him off? Although, at this point, I think he really would be mad at everyone just for existing. Or maybe he does want to die? One also has to wonder why he was dancing with the one who killed Marluxia... GASP. What if Tomura wanted to be the one to kill Regula and was trying to get on his good side and catch him off guard, and THAT'S why he's mad at SCP-682???

Anyways, thank GOD he didn't go to the Feast. My tributes are almost ALWAYS killed in the Feast!

I was implying the latter when I wrote that: he's so depressed over Zurg that he's basically going "Come on you fat lizard! Eat me!"

I'm surprised 682's lasted this long, given his track record.

Just checked and there's two more updates left, with the next one determining the final two and who ends up in third.

RNG-sus, please give Tomura strength. I haven't had a winner in forever, and he totally deserves it at this point! Seriously, I don't even think it's just me. Tomura seems to have become such a popular tribute, that if another tribute kills him, that tribute will probably achieve instant scrappy status.

Oh hey, Tomura finally got a kill! Don't suppose he shot Lord English to bits because him flirting with President Snow pissed him off or made him relieve painful memories somehow?

And he's on the Hall of Fame too! YES!

Hey... remember the old "long, drawn-out battle" event that was Killed Off for Real recently? I was rereading Season 54 to gather data for the Tribute Database, and I just realized that Captain Phasma, who was tied with Shinryu for the most kills (6), should not have tied at all! That's because she was involved in said problematic event◊, back when it was worded such that P1 kills P2 before being killed by P3! This means that the 7th Hall of Fame Battle Royale (Season 88) really should've taken place before the 3rd Murderers' Death Battle (Season 87) to fill in what could've been the missing spot for said Death Battle, possibly altering the course of HGS history!

Anyway, I'm gonna Retcon Phasma out of the list. And done.

Also, as to why I haven't retconned the rest of the Death Battles? That's because I have to check Seasons 55 - 86 for any other mass murderers that have been mistakenly qualified/accidentally disqualified, thus radically changing the rosters. This means that we still have 30 mass murderers for the next one, starting from the printer in Season 164.

So what to do about any eventual accidentally disqualified tributes? Would they be put into the next available Death Battle?

I'm afraid not, because they're way past the cutoff point. Yeah, we got the wrong Marie way, way back in Season 7; completely forgot about Jecht in Season 25; and mistakenly allowed Maxine Caulfield and the aforementioned Captain Phasma from Seasons 36 and 54 respectively to participate, all because they were both involved in the problematic event.

I was thinking that someone should do an Alternate Continuity of the Murderers' Death Battles using the corrected lists, and it should be called the "Murderers' Death Battle: Corrected Edition" series. It's probably gonna be me who'd host it since I'm the one keeping track of the mass murderers of the past, but I don't have time for that.

Hell, even if Tomura DOESN'T win, he's just made history as the first ever BNHA Hall of Famer, and he'll get another chance when he's brought back for the next Battle Royale! Anyways...

Looking back at the corrected mass murderer list so far, I've another meta Fridge Horror moment. If Seasons 87 and 88 switched places with each other, then the podium finishers for the 8th HoF Battle Royale would've been from Seasons 88 - 99, meaning... we wouldn't have had the first Troper Games at all!

Also, Tomura is definitely The Woobie of the Season.
