I'm amused at how Moka seems to be locked in the Musashi's citadel (yeah, its an actual part of a ship), like a princess to be rescued.
Oh, and another thing — people are wondering why the Musashi more or less shrugged off those torpedoes launched against it. I was told that these were ASRO Cs, which were made primarily against modern submarines, and as such had much lower payloads than the venerable Long Lance. A 50 pound payload won't even put a dent against the Musashi.
So, Moka is somehow spared from the mind-control, but it looks like she's trapped on the bridge. Did anyone else find this situation similar to the mutiny of the Storozhevoy? Where the political officer who led the mutiny imprisoned the captain.
ASROC torpedoes have a 96lb warhead though.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Next episode: "CAPTAIN!!!!! CLENCH THOSE TEETH!!!!" & internal mutiny..
Akari & Georgette are best waifus..The dialog made it clear those were training torpedoes, ie without much explosives onboard.
So Furushou remembers giving the order to fire on the Harekaze, but doesn't remember why. And here I thought that the mice's/hamsters' mind control worked in the same way as Kilgrave's powers (where the victim falling under Kilgrave's mind control fully remembers doing whatever Kilgrave commanded that didn't involve killing himself/herself).
Anyway, I dunno if anyone here's an expert in anti-ship cruise missile tech, but how much explosive would it take to sink an armored warship, and can that amount be fitted to a warhead of a modern anti-ship cruise missile or torpedo?
I'm under the impression that most modern anti-ship cruise missiles (and anti-ship torpedoes) use less explosive since modern warships aren't as heavily armored as a World War II-era battleship. Musashi might still have that thick armor plating/anti-torpedo bulge below the waterline.
Also, can an anti-ship cruise missile be precise enough to target a warship's gun turrets? (Or gun barrels if you want to lower the risk of injuring or killing the turret operators.) That's what I would do if anti-ship cruise missiles did exist in this universe.
Oh damn... There are more of those mind-controlling mice/hamsters?! And they're living electronic countermeasures?! I guess that's gonna mess with precision-guided weaponry, too.
Having a "ship's cat" should have been made mandatory on all ships...
EDIT: Damn, I can't make a direct link to the Other Wiki's "Ship's cat" article...

"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."LOL! I never knew it was a real thing.
Well, rats have been a problem ships' crews ever since ancient times. I don't think it's really surprising that someone had an idea to protect the ship from rats by having a cat (or whatever other predator that hunts rodents) aboard.
I have problems with the apostrophe part, so all it says is "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship". The "s_cat" part became normal text... (Yeah, like that.)
Nice practical joke there, though... But seriously speaking, I do most of my text editing first on Notepad before posting, so that may be one reason why. (Unless DBL did the same thing, in which case, I don't know...)
Anyway... I waited for the guys at Random Curiosity to post a screencap of the ships used by the instructors of the boys' maritime school to do some research on what ship class it was... Turns out it's the 2010 version of the Akizuki-class destroyer.

"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."I'm much interested on how or why Moka-chan lost command of her own ship... I predict that her 2nd in command feel into it.
Today on the Harekaze's schedule: Some well-needed relaxation, a special celebration at noon, and a tinge of despair in the evening. What a full day.
Misaki and pals better do something, or else it'll be the Musashi's turn to receive sinking orders...
There are two abilities that best describe Rin. Her normal ability would be Run Away, and her Hidden Ability would be Steadfast.

Forget the bollocks about mind-control that have been thrown around out there. Here is a well-justified and succinct explanation of how the hamsters could induce their unusual effects:
- "A rabies-like virus is most likely the culprit: such a virus would travel along neural pathways to the central nervous system to impact its function. The rabies virus causes inflammation of brain tissue, resulting in symptoms that manifest as abnormal behaviour, paranoia, or even hallucinations, amongst others. However, given that the affected individuals in Hai-Furi are shown recover without substantial external intervention, from a mechanistic perspective, the virus is probably an ineffectual form of a bioweapon that can be dealt with by the immune system before it has a chance to incubate. This could explain why the effects wear off after a while, and similarly, the presence of strains with different virulences might account for why the Musashi’s crew remain affected for several days, rather than the minutes or hours that Shima and Kaoru respectively experience. While a virus seems far-fetched, real-world viruses can have serious neurological impacts on its host. Moreover, as seen in Hai-Furi’s fourth episode, affected individuals have access to their memories, as Shima demonstrates when she rages about curry before her rampage. Because mind control techniques must impact how an individual thinks, they usually involve impairing hippocampus function. This region of the brain consolidates short and long term memories, so for mind control to be effective, it will act on the hippocampus. Logically, Shima would not likely remember anything related to curry prior to her rampage. However, the fact is that she does remember her actions. Together with the points presented, it should be clear that the cause of all this is a pathogen of some sort, and the hamster-like rodents (which are likely synthetic lifeforms, now that we've seen them with ECM and communication jamming capabilities) are the vectors."
I think it's a complete enough explanation for what's going on up until now, although more information could probably change that. However, as I'm not the author of that particular post, you'll have to take it up with the author of that post if there are any disagreeable factors

That was Mike's fault..xD (she's already scared when seeing Isoroku)
Mike = Kirk
Shiro = Spock
Minami = Bones
Maron = Scotty
Rin = Chekov

Akari & Georgette are best waifus..Nothing but German oppai.
I am forseeing a lot of A-Cup Angst incoming.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Captain, A-cup angst at 3 o'clock, closing in!
Seriously, though, I agree with that there is nothing bad about smaller sizes. And, in this particular case, most the girls would look downright ridiculous if they were to somehow grow gag boobs.
Nothing but German oppai.
"German breasts are the greatest in the world!!!"
Man, how much more can Wilhelmina remind me of Niku Sena? (I'm really, really tempted to give Mina the nickname "German Niku" or "Fleisch"note .) I guess while they're at it, I wouldn't mind seeing fanart of Sena in Wilhelmina's uniform... (Though it's more likely that I'll see Mina in crossover fanart with Bismarck and Prinz Eugen first...)
She looks like more Suzuya though.
The cute doctor is smart enough to figure out the whole mess. She already understood that the rats carry the virus aka hate plague. So she is probably want to do experiments... I would love to give her hugs for that.
Akagi and Kaga are mentioned this time, but most likely before their CV refit

Part breather, part setup episode I'd say.
