Duplicate Image: Franchise.Marvel Cinematic Universe

The image in the franchise page is the same one as The Avengers (2012), and it only shows the Avengers. Dozens of new characters have been introduced since the end of Phase 1 and I think it would be appropriate to upgrade it to reflect that.

Without further ado, here's my proposal◊, a collage of every major work until the end of Phase 2.

Yeah, I was afraid that would happen but I checked it on a Sandbox and it's right in the limit of the example list. Anyway, the first image was too large to upload so I resized it.

That's a pretty cool pic, but I think it will hang below the example folders or be close to it.

I think it would be much easier to find an alternate for the Awesome page, for example Iron Man grabbing a nuclear missile in mid-flight◊ to save the day.

It's not too clear what he's doing. A caption could possibly help. Still better than the current one, though.

How much difference would it make to cut out all the sequels in the OP suggestion? I find them redundant.

I prefer an image that actually illustrates something over fancy text.

5 is the best so far for me.

Issue: There are 5 new movie franchises coming in the next few years. And just as many tv franchises. As nice as having a collage of all the properties, it's going to keep ballooning. for illustration: i.imgur.com/QxL5LAW.jpg

At some point, there has to be limits. Such as on Marvel Universe or The DCU or DCAU, where there are only about 10-20 characters for a franchise with hundreds.

Current image isn't ideal, but it illustrates that it has crossover continuity, that it's live action and 6 of the characters. Ideally, I think we should replace it with some group shot from Civil War. Maybe even some version of till the movie is out. That way we get more of the characters, without having an ever expanding page image that will need to fit 10 more logos / posters in the near future.

13's pretty cool.

I prefer 5; it illustrates well it's a big franchise, and there's no necessity of ballooning it to add further movies. A caption can specify this is just phase 1 (or phases 1-2, I guess).

Regardless of the suggested caption, here's every character potholed:

I don't know what the hell is that thing over Falcon though, maybe a helicarrier?
