But, if he knows its policy before hand, wouldn't that moment of 'Why aren't you in a suit?' have come A LOT earlier? None of the others mention it either when they confront Mike either.

Eh, I'm over thinking it. The short wasn't meant to be taken so seriously.

EDIT: So, I've been thinking about the movie ideas for awhile now. I got a lot of inspiration listening to the Living Tombstone fan songs. Also, for the timeline to work, the movie would have to be set in the early 2000s at somepoint. Sorry for the length...

My idea is that Fazbear's Pizza should probably be upgraded to a larger establishment for the film. If only because I thought the restaurant featured in the games always seemed impossibly small, even for a Suck-E-Cheese. I'd actually be interested in seeing the place look decently suitable for an actual business rather than hilariously under the basic standards. Anyway, I think they could potentially pull off most if not all of the film taking place at Fazbear's without leaving.

So, we start off with Mike going to his first day. Awkwardly in the boss' office being asked basic questions to get to know him better (probably some handwave that someone higher up hired him and not the manager of that pizzeria or something). We get a quick little tour of the Pizzaria, kids legitimatly enjoying the restaurant, as well as being little shits to Mangle/Toy!Foxxy which could be set up for Mangle to be used later.

I think you could do some REALLY creepy set up, such as the anamatronics eyes suddenly looking at Mike the entire time. No close up to show that they're watching him, they just ARE in the background. You can see them following him through the scene.

Unnamed!Boss takes Mike backstage after the anamatronics finish their last show for the evening where we're introduced to two to three other security guards (maybe 4 guards total to contrast Freddy's crew?) for the Pizzaria. There's some mention that, because funding for the place is a bit short at the moment, the Security Guards do extra jobs around the place before the night shift starts. One of them being that they clean and check the anamatronics after their last performance and make sure they're shut down.

In this scene, we can show more clearly that Freddy and crew are watching Mike, but no one comments on it. We get establishing conversations for each of the guards and other details about the place and its financial strains with some early mentions of something happening in '87. We also get more info on Mike as the guards want to know more about him. Lastly, the guard who's cleaning Foxxy cuts himself on Foxxy's hook. Everyone assumes that he just accidentally cut himself, but its ambiguous if Foxxy moved on his own.

It becomes late at night and the security guards get to work hanging out in the security office and being lazy 20-somethings. They grab some left over pizza from the kitchens and hang out and get to know each other. I'm imagining it to come up at somepoint (probably a question on if Mike lives with his parents or not?) that Mike is adopted and doesn't know his parents. One of the girl security guards mentions that she specifically never met her father and her mother refuses to talk about him. Probably could have a Phone Guy message here and some jokes about how its just a recording added to the messages every time a new hire comes. One of the guards could impersonate the Phone Guy's voice as a funny moment.

I guess that something happens that makes the guards need to investigate (Freddy and Co start performing???) and then the Hauntings start happening. I haven't sketched out all the details but I have some ideas...

  • Foxxy needs to do his 'RUN FOR THE SECURITY OFFICE FLAPPING JAW' because that's hilarious and so unique to Foxxy that it needs to happen.
  • Balloon Boy appears but ultimately does nothing.
  • The repairshop room is explored which looks creepy as heck at night and there's some foreshadowing on some of the older suits having 'retractable parts' (Still not sure how 'retractable parts' work, but whatever)
  • One of the guards hides in a Freddy suit to try and not be killed and is killed anyway? Feel like it would be a good shout out to how a lot of fans wondered why that isn't a solution to surviving the night.
  • I'd like to see them actually 'kill' one of Freddy and Co, but I'm not sure how. Drop one of the security doors on them? Maybe they progressively take out each Freddy and co character until only Freddy is alive because I can't think of a better way to keep it only Freddy involve in the climax.
  • Maybe establish the basement issue earlier by having the entire Pizzaria running on a generator that the guards need to restart at somepoint? It would help set up some later plot things?

I also imagine this other scene of VERY LOUD music coming over the loudspeakers and its godawful loud (Chicken Dance for Chica?) so the guards try to go to the basement to completely shut down the power to the building. The music stops, but Freddy can Co are still there. Now we can have Freddy's iconic 'glowy eyes and teeth music box' stuff. There's also the oddly specific realization that NONE of the anamatronics will go anywhere near the basement

I have an idea for how to kill off one of the security guards in the Arcade area. Its tense and He thinks he's gotten away from one of the anamatronics and he's hiding in one of the aisles. There's the sound of scurrying and movement, but its clear the nothing around him is moving. Suddenly, the machines start turning on, but all displaying the same scenes that show the pixelated children being lured into the back room to be killed by a Purple Colored man. The guard freaks before Mangle drops from the ceiling to murder him.

Or, maybe, instead of killing him here, he runs off to the Workshop and gets in a fur suit hoping to escape. Its not working and he's killed while trying to open the door which, when it cuts away from the gore fest, it shows Balloon Boy standing outside the door holding it closed. While the guard screams, BB gives an innocent 'Hello!'. God that would be creepy.

Being attacked and chased, our final two security guards run to the basement because that's where all the anamatronics are avoiding. We can have some breather time here to develop Mike and whomever is left as they're trapped in the basement. After sometime, it finally becomes clear why Freddy and Co are avoiding the basement; Springtrap is there.

Admittedly, I don't know how to get this reveal to work yet, but I'm trying to build it up to the Reveal that its actually Mike's missing father who is Springtrap/Purple Man. Suddenly, everything makes sense; Freddy and Co's 'ghosts' got reactivated and haunting on that night in particular because they saw Mike and thought he was Purple Man somehow still alive.

Now, I'm not sure how to have this climax to go down. To be honest, I'm kind of playing with the idea of Freddy and Mike (and the other surviving security guard?) vs. Springtrap... somehow? But I do want the climax to result in Fazbear's Pizza catching fire (kind of a reference to the third game's conclusion). But, Freddy grabs Mike (and the other security guard assuming they're alive still) and carries them through the burning building. Freddy's fur is matted and smoke damaged and looks almost horribly disfigured.

Freddy carries Mike outside to the parking lot as the Pizzaria is burning. Freddy then just simply walks into the fire of the building and the haunting are brought to an end. It could probably just end right there with Freddy walking into the flames and maybe some shots of the other members of Freddy and Co. burning in the debris.

I know its really rough, but its all I have after thinking about it in my spare time.

Personally I'd want Balloon Boy to somehow steal the batteries from the Guard's torchlight when he was distracted because he thought the animatronic kid was 'harmless'.

That still excludes the Marionette and the rest of the Toys though. The Marionette has to have some kind of role considering he is one of the dead children and that he brought the others back.

And yeah I imagine there could be a lot of creepy scenes they could pull off here. One thing I will point out is there a really disturbing way they could do an death scene for an guard hiding in a suit (There is actually an rather disturbing SFM animation that has the Phone Guy of that universe die from this).

Essentially it's called Repairment Protocols. The animatronics will see an guard in an person in an Fazbear suit (so this can't happen to hybrid suits)walk by and considering they see humans as endoskeletons they will mistake the human in the suit as junk that needs to be removed from the endo.''

So how do they remove these foreign parts that would cause a real endo issues? By ripping out there bones and organs with there own bear hands (no pun intended) of course.

You can essentially have that guard try to fool the animatronics via dressing up in a empysuit, he gets caught by either Bonnie, Freddy, or Foxy. He/she gets dragged away kicking and screaming by said animatronic with the other 3 lumbering behind (all the while the rest of the guards are watching this on screen). And then right after they hold him down on the maintenance table (the table in the Maintenance room that has the empty suit head and the unused yet still functioning endoskeleton on) you see Freddy start pulling bones out of his/her legs while Foxy rips his/her stomach open.

Then the camera cuts to the two guards horrified expressions with the man/woman screaming in the background as you hear the sounds of bones being broken and tearing and ripping of flesh. After that you hear Balloon Kid laughing down the hall and the Marionette's music starts to play just as the screams are cut out (when the poor guard finally dies).

Oh god you have no clue how hard that was to write. I still feel a bit sick from when I saw that death in that animation I am talking about were I got the idea of this death scene from....

[up]Yup that's the animation I am talking about

It's one of the rare few SFM animations that has so much Black Comedy (in a fandom were the animatronics are usually portrayed in a more comedic or friendly manner) it becomes incredibly disturbing at some points. The animator actually responded back to me when I asked him how the hell he came up with that idea that the death scene was more intended to be funny (probably because how the over the top it was).

Purple Guy's death seems tamer in comparison. He died way faster then that

My idea was to just cut away while they kill him; Hence cutting to BB standing outside the door propping it closed. And then, maybe, next time they run into Bonnie or Chica or something, its clear there's a person dead inside??? Or they come across the guard stuffed inside a non-moving anamatronic?

That way we see the before and the after and the audience's minds fill in the middle part for themselves.

And, yes, I'd like to incorporate The Puppet somehow too, but I'm not sure how. The issue is... I don't understand its function in Fazbear Pizza in the first place. Like, what was it used for at all??? Its just creepy period where as the rest of the Freddy crew are Uncanny Valley Anamatronic creepy.

I'm kind of hoping for anything other then another FNAF Game. I'm hoping for either improved Remakes, or Launches on the Home Consoles. If it's another FNAF game, I'll be little disappointed.

Ah, crap. Here We Go Again!. Will a new game come out, or will there be a teaser for the movie? If a new game does come out, then what could it be about? Could it be a prequel that goes into the origins of the pizzeria (Fredbear's Diner, I believe it was called?), or will it follow up to the whole Springtrap surviving the fire at the end of Five Nights At Freddys 3?

I could see perhaps doing a remastered version of the original, at least, for consoles. Add stuff like better animations for the characters, maybe add additional routes for the animatronics (maybe add air vents like the third game), maybe some more hallucinations (like references to the Puppet)... beyond that, though, perhaps it would be best if FNAF laid fallow for a while.

That said, I sincerely hope that Scott Cawthon starts making convention rounds... and wears the hat when he participates in panels.

We'll have to watch his website carefully now...

So any thoughts on the One Night at Flumpty's?

I thought it seemed pretty interesting and well-made for a FNAF clone. I liked especially the drawn graphics.

[up] The graphics were definitely the best part about One Night at Flumpty's. Nightmare Face everywhere. Not to mention it also contrasts FNaF by giving little to none backstory other than the fact that Flumpty wants to rip your face off (which is oddly hilarious in itself).

I actually heard of the Flumpty's games from Markiplier's playthoughs of them. They're......weird, to say the least. They have a surprising amount of Nightmare Fuel too, but they're still funny because of the sheer....weirdness of what's going on. And I agree that the visuals are a big highlight.

On the possibly a teaser for F Na F 4, I just had a great idea for what it could be:

One of the greatest remaining mysteries for the series (besides the obvious "what the heck happened at Fredbear's Family Diner?") is what on earth are Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie...

So I thought, a mid-quel between the first game and third. You are filming a documentary about the "legend of Freddy Fazbear" and plan to spend five nights in the long abandoned Freddy Fazbear's Pizza to prove the legends true or false once and for all. There's not much to worry about, someone seems to have dismantled the animatronics before you got here. But... you might want to make sure to keep the lights on as much as possible, people can imagine the scariest things hiding in the shadows. And keep a close eye on that boarded up door by the bathrooms, it doesn't look like it could keep anything inside there for very long...
