That would be cool.....I have no clue who they are. Justice League Dark, I mean. I know who Doctor Fate is. He is the Sorcerer Supreme after all.

They're pretty much a faction of the Justice League that deals with the magical and supernatural threats.

Either way it's an awesome tease for Doctor Fate.

If it's great, here's hoping DC will tie this and Guillermo del Toro's Justice League Dark movie together.

Even better would be to insert them both in the DC Cinematic Universe if they're successful.

Olivia Wilde would be one of my first choices to play Zatanna.

On a TV budget, I'm unsure that will happen.

Apparently the Pilot for Constantine was leaked just like The Flash pilot.

Making a bare-bones page is fine. Just make sure it's formatted properly and has the requisite minimum of three tropes.

Lucy Griffiths who played Liv in the Pilot leaves Constantine.

In place of Liv, the show will add Zed, a psychic who teams up with Constantine to battle various evil forces. A familiar face from the Hellblazer and Constantine books, Zed has not been cast yet, but the character will make her first appearance in an early episode.

Maybe I'm just imagining a prevalence for it but Pilot Only Girl might be considered trope worthy? (NCIS, its spinoff, The Finder, now Constantine)

Chuck had a character that was only in the Pilot she was replaced by Bonita Friedericy's character of Diane Beckman.

Though it could be a case of The Other Darrin since Wendy Makkena's character has the same last name based on the cast listing but different first names but that happens between having a cast listing and the actual pilot.

If they're dong Zed, I hope they're doing the Resurrection Crusaders & Nergal before they go for the Ennis stuff.

The Fear Machine would probably be too much to hope for, though. Too English, for a start.

The Spectre could be coming to Constantine.

Angelica Celaya has been cast as Zed.

So…Liv (who was apparently a Canon Foreigner) was replaced by Zed (who was from the comics herself). Exactly why? And what did the leaked pilot have to do with the decision to replace Liv?

Also, I had a brainstorm last night.

If they have Raven in the show, they could make nods to Raven from both of the Teen Titans shows like having her hair be mainly black (like in the comics) with purple locks and if they show her room, they could show that she has a secret stash of pony toys.

And they could have Tara Strong (who voices her in both shows) making a cameo appearance giving some (well-made) exposition regarding Raven.

Like I said in the Arrow thread lo these many months ago. I really think they want to lead into a live-action Teen Titans series at some point.

To be fair, Constantine being bi is not something integral to the character as far as my knowledge of him goes (though I'll say it's limited). It's very much a Depending on the Writer thing.

Goyer is a dick though, no discussion on that.

You know, if it's incidental to the character, then one wonders why they can't just keep it in. I mean, the argument is that his sexuality doesn't matter, so why change it at all then?

But clearly it matters enough to the producers that they decided to change it.

Thing is the people who would be most bothered by it almost certainly won't watch it anyway. And if he was a woman it almost certainly wouldn't be considered a problem.

Goyer has consistently shown he's quite a dick. And this just shows he has no courage whatsoever. Isn't he also responsible for Da Vinci's Demons?
