Enjoy:
He put a single, blood-stained hand on my shoulder. "Don't cry for me, brother, for yet, after all we have faced...I regret...nothing..." "But, dude," I said, weeping softly. "What about your virginity?" His smile evaporated from his lips, and his face twisted into a rather thoughtful scowl. "Oh," he breathed weakly. "F...uuuu...eerkgh..."

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!"I didn't sign up for... this..."- One of my boss characters. It turns out that he wanted to join the Enforcer aliens to protect his planet from a faction of hostile aliens, not expecting to be turned into an Enforcer alien and face off his former friends who kill him.
"No. OHHHHHHHHHHHH S***T!!!!"- Another boss character, he's the leader of an airship Boarding Party. When asked by The Big Guy if he can fly, this is his response before being thrown off the airship.

...eheh"Hello, darkness my old friend..." - Alistair, a Fallen Angel. He thinks absolute silence (that is, the absence of existance) is the most beautiful thing in reality. So he seeks to make everything beautiful. Since he is dying (and for angels death equals Cessation Of Existance)
"I will not fall!" - A sort of Defiant to the End moment for Kane, a sentient, titanic, two-legged monstrous crocodile. To his credit, he is by an attack that obliterates people from existance in a single stroke. It takes six to kill him.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Jacob Willem refuses to be the last survivor of his flight again, and rams an enemy to save the other members.
Ami Nagano leads the last stand of the Martian Militia.

Nous restons ici.Quoting myself from the main thread:
"I'm the only one left—"
"I'm the only one—"
Music and sound actually feature into my few death scenes with a good deal of frequency. Lines from the Hallelujah Chorus, the soft sound of feet on inches upon inches of pine needles, sudden silence and a gasp, allusions to Alban Berg's Lulu and Wire's 154...
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Or, in the language that the character would be speaking (spot the reference, fellow historians):

Charlie Stross's cheerful, optimistic predictions for 2017, part one of three."Suddenly, as he was listening, the ceiling fell in on his head."
"Yes! Y-YES! I HAVE DONE IT! I HAVE DEFEATED THE TERRAN DEVIL! All praise to Hilancer Kalen!"
(The Guardian Angel recovers and steadies)
"W-What? NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!"
(Hilancer Kalen begins firing his M-Tech's weapons wildly at the Guardian Angel)
"YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME DEVIL! I WILL SURVIVE! I WILL BE VICTORIOUS!"
(The Guardian Angel then lashes out with its powerful beam cannon)
"I AM HILANCER KALEN AND I WILL SURVIVE!"
(the beam strikes Kalen's M-Tech dead center pierces through and then the M-Tech vaporizes)
And now a few from the notes I have for later books and stuff, spoiler details spoilered out of course. (These may or may not change by the time I get to those parts.)

...and now I am craving context here like nobody's business.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception. That may have to wait until said writing project is completed enough to post to the public, now. This is still for a Madoka Magica story, one where winged hussars might play a role. (Modern-day Poland's the setting—albeit a Poland with a lot of nods to its long and fascinating history.)
Charlie Stross's cheerful, optimistic predictions for 2017, part one of three."I have my own life, with my own problems. I think one world, without magic, is enough for me. At least for now. " -Danielle Anderson "How about a democracy?" -Leah Thompson
"I know... I know it will... My... my family is safe... many families are safe... that’s all that matters. That’s... all that... matters."
I'm hardly one to carp given how I abuse them, but you may want to cut down on using ellipses. Overused, they detract rather than add; consider putting in other ways to break up the dialogue.
Charlie Stross's cheerful, optimistic predictions for 2017, part one of three.^ On the other hand stylistically it can give an easier time conveying that the character may be struggling to put words out. Either s/he thinks too slow, can't hold the air to word it out in a single go (implying either great sickness such as asthma or severe respiratory injury), or is so mentally unprepared/incapable that s/he can't make a complete uninterrupted sentence.
Of course stylistically it's trying to emulate the often paused speech in visual media.
"I said I was a Christian. I never said I was a good Christian."
"You... coldblooded wretch!"
(For context, the character gathers every last scrap of strength he has to shout one of their species' worst insults at his murderer.)

"Hate. I just feel so much hate. No love. It is always like that."
*a pause*
"Will it always be like that?"
