I, for one, would love to see Saban's other anime dubs - both the known ones (The Noozles, Maya The Bee, The Littl Bits) and the more obscure ones (Bob in a Bottle, Honeybee Hutch, Peter Pan No Bouken, Kashi no Ki Mokku, Super Pig, Button Nose) released in legal form... Depending if the masters still exist.
The fact that Samurai Pizza Cats was released on DVD should be a good sign...

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I'll second the call for Hyouka.
As for Nichijou, where are you and can you get your hands on a multi-region DVD player because it was released in Australia and New Zealand by Madman Entertainment.
I'd like a Dub of Transformers Super God Masterforce and Victory. As well as any left out episodes from other seasons, like Energon's Scorpinok episode. His last one, I mean.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Umi Monogatari and Corrector Yui!

"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimI for one am quite sad that Turn A Gundam didn't happen after all they were talking about possibly localizing it. It's quite unfortunate that it and X never got exports when they're arguably the best full-length shows in the franchise.
Why do you fight? Why do you exist? The Snow Queen anime too!
The Protomen enhanced my life.FYI, since the past month the Japanese government have been pouring some serious bucks (147 million dollars) to set up television channels in some Asian countries that will broadcast, among other things, anime.
This might have something to do with the resignation of Tokyo's infamously xenophobic governor back in October.
- Gundam X
- ZZ Gundam
Wrong thread. It's not anime
Seconding Turn A Gundam.
I would like new printings so I could actually SEE the old gundam shows(Legally).
Kyousougiga dub plz.
hiHyouka. I don't even care if Aniplex gets it and charges their usual obscene rates, I just want to own it.
Space Battleship Yamato 2199, Kyousogiga, Chihayafuru and The Tatami Galaxy would also be greatly appreciated.
I'm curious to see what a dub of Daily Live of High School Boys would be like.
Flyer than an ostrich, moshin' in a tar pit...I've gotten somewhat interested in old Magical Girl series and am surprised to see that most of them don't even have fansubs, let alone legitimate English releases. I would especially like to see Hana no Ko Lunlun and Majokko Tickle. Of course, the very fact that they haven't even been fansubbed suggests that there's probably pretty much no market for them...
The earliest work of Keitaro Takahashi, Ordinary +/- and the sort of sequel, Destro 246.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"@Lalalei2001, by the holy tubes of light that is the Internet, YES to Corrector Yui. The U.S. in particular had a seriously golden opportunity to recieve the show at the Turn of the Millennium because it has so much in common with Digimon and The Matrix despite it looking like Sailor Moon, all of which were extremely sucessful here.
The show still has a chance today when you consider Toonami's revival.

These two may literally be more bark than bite, but they are no less tenacious than everyone else.Seconding Button Nose. That s*** was my childhood.
Also, the crazy japanese adventures of Peter Pan deserve an official western release too. I mean, what could be cooler than Captain Hook's steampunk (piratepunk?) mecha??
My angry rant blog!I want to see Kamichama Karin dubbed in the style of Tokyopop's translation of the original manga... but even a subs-only DVD release would make me happy.
I couldn't conceive a dream so wet; your bongos make me congo.Given that the Saban masters for the dub have passed into Disney's hands, it's not quite sure as to what has happened to them. Did Saban buy them back? Do the tapes even exist anymore?
But if Discotek can get Samurai Pizza Cats back... I imagine it could happen.
Also... Captain Hook's giant mecha? I'm really wanting to see this now!

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."It's quite a thing. He built it with only the technology available for pirates (gears, steam engine, levers). And he had more weapons up his sleeve besides that. And then there is the second season... which is completely original material not based on any books!
The show is available in Japan on DVD and there are fansubs.
My angry rant blog!External disc drive. VLC. You don't need anything else.

Basically a thread for whatever anime you'd like to see brought over to your country, but for some reason, No Export for You is in effect. Including anime released in the States or elsewhere with English translation, but isn't available in the UK. Or otherwise.
Personally as something of a Robotech fan I'd like to see the original Macross and at least Mospeada re-licensed with a Region 2 English release. And Macross Frontier to get to the West at all.
Also, what about Super Dimension Century Orguss (the first series, not the sequel)? No UK release for that.
There's a whole ton of Leiji Matsumoto stuff that never made it to the UK, but even our European neighbours got.
OK, maybe my tastes are a tad old-school. Anyone else got more modern examples?
