Looking For GM's [RPs You Want Someone Else To Start]

Digimon RP please

Hell yeah I'd be so in in that, though I'm afraid I won't be able to GM it, maybe that'll change though.

I've been replaying Batman Arkham City and now I want to have a sort of Arkham roleplay where everyone takes the roles of their own characters stuck in a massive Arkham City sorta situation.

I had the idea of an XCOM 2 style situation, only with demons in the place of aliens. Basically, humanity has been enslaved by demons and the other supernatural creatures they use as foot soldiers, and the RP focuses on La Résistance.

So High Fantasy XCOM?

That would be cool.

Especially since it will be quite a while til I get XCOM 2 and as such can't participate in actual XCOM 2 related stuff.

Okay, I'm really in the mood for any RP involving La Résistance of any (genuinely good) form, mostly because I feel like a rebel in this time in my life.

Zombies. I could definitely do with some zombie-filled, post-apocalyptic survival RP.

Would anyone be interested in starting an inFAMOUS or Heroes roleplay? Getting to partake in a Deconstructor Fleet kind of roleplay (or at least one that heavily plays with Tropes) would also be nice.

I would love to do an inFamous-based RP. Maybe I can bring back Addisu and his psychic wheelchair.

I'm thinking a game of The Hard Way, available here would be a cool choice.

I think it would be a cool thing that would work well with tropers, and it's not because of my love for John Carpenter movies at all...

Also, mainly because of this being the community of tropers, I think a Troperiffic round of Wushu would go over quite well.

Dorks Save The Multiverse

There is not one universe, but many. Some are like our own, some not so much. But there's one thing that unites them all: They all contain dorks. Unless they don't harbor life, in which case, there is a distinct lack of dorks. But in any case!

Something, or someone, has caused the worlds to begin to merge. Things are spilling out of portals all around the globe, and these things aren't too friendly. And worst of all, reality itself seems to be tearing at the seams.

In response to this threat, Eagle Land came to save the day, as it usually seems to do. The President went out to look for the toughest, smartest, coolest people he could possibly find to defeat the things, close the portals, end the merge and save the multiverse.

Unfortunately, the President had a short budget due to Congressional bickering, and he had to go with a bunch of dorks.

Basically, a humorous multiverse RP, with lots of silly action and Lampshade Hanging.

I have an idea. A roleplay focusing on a crossover bar. So some people run it, and some people are just regulars. You can play as a OC from a premade world, or a premade character?It would focus mainly on character interaction, not combat.

Anyone else kind of craving an Overwatch-style RP?

Possibly not an actual Overwatch RP, as it's not out yet, but at least something along the same lines? Somewhat bright and cartoony, a diverse cast of good and evil agents from around the world battling it out with fantastic abilities?

An idea that I have.

The Siege of Amadeus

The Story - We gotta start somewhere

The story will take place in a multi-cultural city at siege by a military empire. People can play the part as the Imperial soldier whose goal is to sack the city or as one of the defenders of the walled city. Their roles in the siege can be as high as a commanding officer and low as a peasant caught in the crossfire who is simply providing provisions to the soldiers.

The city is centered in the middle of a continent where people of diverse backgrounds converge together into a cultural melting pot. So people of all races, beliefs, and walks of life can be here.

The Imperium is an empire that its citizens believe represents the forces of civilization and progress, and they view the rest of the world as savages. They will stand for nothing less than surrender and will place the city under martial law once the siege is over to assimilate the city into the Imperium.

The Imperial soldiers come from territories that have been conquered for centuries and their people have been indoctrinated into the Imperium.

Magic exists in this society, but it is extremely weak and is found only in a select few individuals. They are able to turn water into wine and heal the sick, and since they are capable of such miracles they occupy high positions in religious orders.

The Technicalities - You can remove some of these if you want

• Timelines: Every two days that pass in real life would equal the passing of two weeks in the game world.
  • 2 days in real life = 2 weeks in the game world.

• Damage
  • When a character is in danger, such as when an arrow is shot directly at them or a sword is swung at them, the GM rolls a single die and sees whether they are lucky or not. If the number is from 4-6 then the character receives no damage but if the number if 1-3 then the character receives damage. When a character receives damage the GM has to roll again to assess the extent of the damage done. If the number is 1-2 then it is light damage, if it is 3-4 then it is moderate damage, but if it is 5-6 then it is critical damage.

  • A critically injured character is automatically killed. A moderately injured character has to go to the medical bay where he will be treated for 2 weeks. A lightly injured character just has to disinfect his wounds before he gets sick and has to go to the medical bay for 2 weeks.

  • This is to make players think twice before they do something dangerous and to be cautious in their endeavors.

• End of Scenario: The maximum amount of time the Imperials can spend at siege is 2 years before the Imperial army is called to the Capital City to defend against a barbarian invasion, which will serve as another continuation of the story where the Imperials will square off against the barbarians.

I had an idea for an RP on this page (post #782) of the Looking For Players thread, and it garnered a bit of interest! I'd actually like to be a GM, but I've never GM'ed an RP over TV Tropes before (my experience with hosting an RP lies more on the Miiverse side of things). So is there anyone who could help by being co-GMs with me? PM me if you want!

I'm interested in helping out because I like the concept, but the thing is that I'm already GMing one RP and could possibly be GMing another depending of if my Ghost RP gets off the ground and I'm not sure how much I can stretch my workload.

Just know that I'm willing if you can't find someone else.

I don't know how many folks here have read the Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher, but it seems like it would be perfect for a RPG.

Here's something I think would be an awesome Plot Bunny- Steven Universe / Puella Magi Madoka Magica Fusion Fic, with the Gem Race being the result of Puella Magi who stopped their own corruption just as it began. Thus, mutating the Soul Gem so it can generate a new body & no longer become corrupted- At least, not like before, given the presence of Corrupted Gems.

Would be interested in some sort of open world Supers RP.

After watching Escape from Alcatraz, I really want to start a prison escape RP. Probably crossover, but OCs are welcome too. Would anyone be interested in playing?
