1636: The Devil's Opera.
US Coastguard Aircraft Since 1916.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'I'd also recommend reading The Divine Invasion immediately afterwards. It's not technically a sequel, but it deals with the same themes VALIS did, in a sideways fashion. So it indirectly provides a proper conclusion for the story.
The last book I read was a Discworld novel called Small Gods. I rather enjoyed it, especially the ending. It hit me right in the feels!

Even when your hope is gone, move along, move along just to make it throughJust finished up Maus last night.
[forum cryptid: it/it's]Room, by Emma Donoghue. (sniffle)
If anyone's thinking about reading that one...read it. The entire book is one giant CMOH/Tear Jerker.
Currently reading Game of Thrones.
Beware the gazebo!I think the last book I finished was Joyland by Stephen King. I started reading the first Mass Effect novel, but then I lost it...
You need an adult.Dodsworth by Sinclair Lewis.
2001: A Space Odyssey. Now I oughta rewatch the movie sometime soon.
Generation Stables, by Carolyn Faulkner. BDSM done right.
Cold Magic, by Kate Elliot. It was good, but not good enough to get me hooked. Not sure if I want to read the others or not.

The World of Archaeology: The Pioneers in Their Own Words.
It's a collection of articles, anecdotes, letters, telegrams etc. relating to the more significant archaeologists and their work up to the late '60s when the book was published.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Risky Shot, one of the Bluegrass Series by Kathleen Brooks. Actually very well written example of the stuff that Mills and Boone do in the UK, only mainly aimed at the American market. And females.
Since I don't qualify for either of those descriptors I am feeling a tad conflicted.
Ranger's Apprentice: Erak's Ransom. Great book series, I love it.
Your Honor...A Dance With Dragons. Is my Darkness Induced Audience Apathy for this series starting to decrease slightly? I guess I'll find out for sure in the next book.

Hammer Of The Gods: The Led Zeppelin Saga.
I'm an avid reader, I was reading Michael Crichton since the ninth grade and I can go through 3 Shonen Jump manga volumes per every thirty minutes so it may take a while...
Just picked up the Rehearsal Script Edition of Harry Potter And The Cursed Child this week. Even though the premise feels like the plot to a fanfic, it's a damn well-written one. The only problem I have is a new, somewhat ancillary character named Polly Chapman, whose only two functions in the script are to be Ms. Exposition and to be an annoying hindrance.
Also finally caught up with Death Note the other day. Currently on the last two volumes. A great suspense series, but god, is the Viz translation keen on the Wall of Text speech bubbles.
Also read Star Trek: The Weight of Worlds recently. I felt like it was a worthy entry into the Trek' lore, feeling like a grand sci-fi action movie.
Torn between reading Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman or Sword Art Online: Aincrad next

Love tearing bad movies to shreds? Join us every night at 8 PMBest Served Cold, mega-violent revenge sage in The First Law world. Fun, lots of accidental murder and cannibalism.
Gimme yer lunch money, dweeb.Literally just a few minutes ago, I finished Storm of Thunder, the 5th book in the Michael Vey series. Also, I just learned that the last two books in the series haven't been published yet. NOOOOOOOOO!
Still hoping for Klonoa to get a new game... or a movie like thisAmerican Romance by Eliot Schain. I guess it was pretty good, but I'm not the best with poetry (or prose, which I prefer). He was actually one of my teachers in high school.
