The first few times I listened to the "Mr. Morton" predicate song from School House Rock, I misheard one of the first lines as such:

Actual Lyric: Mr. Morton's the subject of our tale...
What I Heard: Mr. Morton's a subject of the jail...

Because of this, I thought that Mr. Morton was arriving home from prison on that bus he's riding on at the start of the song, and I wondered how a meek Shrinking Violet like him could have possibly wound up there.

You know that part in "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch", they said "I wouldn't touch you with a 39.5 foot pole"?

I heard the last part as "39.5 foot bull" for the longest time.

In a radio ad:

"Holiday music" —> "Horrible music"

I guess to some they are one and the same.

After all these years, it's "deck the halls with boughs of holly", not "balls and holly".

I never hear the word "an" in "Welcome back to an episode of *insert game she was playing*. She just said it so fast.

During an Avatar: The Last Airbender marathon, I heard "octopus form" as "octopus porn" and "nightcrawler" as "nightclub".

...To be fair, I was playing video games at the same time.

For Mario Kart DS, the bit crushed noises made me think Yoshi was saying "Wafi" or something, but it's just the Yoshi's Story sound bites remade into DS form.

I am not even joking when I say that I heard Buston when Mooples CLEARLY meant Bunston, but it really came from the Moop first having read the latter as the former.

I had to watch a training video about discrimination and sexual harassment at work today - the sound wasn't too clear to begin with, and the fact that I was watching via a stream from a different store in the same chain meant the audio occasionally cut out or fell out of sync with the video on top of that. Anyway, the main character was named Mitch, and the plot mostly revolved around him being spoken to by his company's CEO about the importance of following an anti-discrimination policy; Because of the audio problems, it occasionally sounded like the CEO was calling him "bitch", which of course would be humorously at odds with the rest of the content. "Why would you use discriminatory language, bitch?"

During a car ride I had been on as an adolescent girl, I heard in an electronic dance track what I thought was the word "ninja" until the track's title pointed out that it was "bitch ya" in its lyrics.

Wow.

I heard the first part as Ivav.

In the song's last two lines as follows:

Da scheint uns ein Bildchen, ein göttliches, vor; Wir klingen und singen: Bibamus.

I thought I heard the word Mädchen in place of Bildchen.

I feel like this might have been "Smack My Bitch Up" by The Prodigy. The actual lyrics are "Change my pitch up, smack my bitch up", and in my experience people tended to hear it as something about snapping a picture.

I thought in Planescape Torment Dak'kon was saying "Insert the mon's name" instead of "In Zerthamon's name" and wondered what the hell that meant.

What the Birds from Decision Street in Money Town sang: "Waitin' at the Bank..."

What it sometimes sounds like: "Waitin' at the Bed..."

So I was listening to Wicked Wicked World, by Aviators, with my grown kid, only to get a baffled look, then a lot of laughter (and a "you have to post that to the TV Tropes mondegreen forum") when I asked about the lyric "fly like the waffle". Turns out it's actually "vile evil awful" "vile like no other". Since the next line is "take me away set me free from this your wicked, wicked world", I like the image my mishearing conjures up...

I consistently hear a certain lyric in "Schadenfreude" from Avenue Q as "peeing on an elevator..." instead of "being on an elevator..."

From a movie trailer for The Hunchback Of Notre Dame on one of my old VHS tapes: There was a time when I would mishear a line from Frollo, thanks to the background music and sounds.

What he's saying: (to Phoebus) How dare you defy me!
What I heard: How dare you defile me!

Being a little kid, I didn't think about how wrong that sounded until I was older and realized the connotations of such a statement.
