For the uninitiated... A contingent of tropers (mostly from across America) holds regular get-togethers over the Interwebs on this site called Synchtube which lets individuals, such as ourselves, open and join in text-based chatrooms within typical web browsers (Firefox, Chrome, et. al.) that allow the chat participants to view YouTube videos in synchronization with everyone else present (without even needing to set up an account)... and we've decided to use said chatrooms to play cheeseball webvideos and feature-length movies found in the public domain which stretch all the way from letters B to Z, which everyone subsequently riffs on a la MST3K.
For over EIGHT years, everybody who gets involved mostly finds good enjoymentnote in calling out tropes that are recognized in the videos and stories and coming up with jokes to fling back at whatever's happening on the screen, many of which turn into various in-jokes and running gags (a Coven Glossary is kept and maintained for everyone's help and convenience HERE) to repeat in the chat.
We're always looking for new ways to better coordinate and expand our activities and are more than happy to welcome newcomers interested in joining our gatherings.

I have no idea what to do for pre-show. No clue. None. Nada. Zilch. I may just cut to the chase tonight.
Ignore this post, I just noticed that Sean put in the next thing in that ridiculous Ninja Resurrection thing.

War is God.Alright, in a few minutes, we'll be continuing our journey into anime hell with part 2 of Ninja Resurrection's OVA: Hell's Resurrection.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, we'll partake in an 80's low-budget schlock classic the Deadly Spawn. I am looking forward to this.

War is God.Oh, HO-Oh-HOOOOOoooooooooo...
Kung Fu Friday tonight with a hefty dose of early 90's action B-movie tripe. Just your usual tale of government agents infiltrating an Asian criminal organization with some surprising names and recognizable faces fleshing out the core ensemble: Billy Blanks, Jalal Merhi, James Hong, Priscilla Barnes, and Matthias Hues.
Wow.
Here's Talons of the Eagle.
Oh, Ho-Oh-HOOOOOOOoooooooooooo...
Kicking off Kung Fu Friday with a 40-minute "special" episode of mXc.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, Billy Blanks takes on James Hong's criminal empire in Talons of the Eagle.

Found some shitty episodes of Donkey Kong, Jr." from Saturday Supercade that can be used in a preshow. I found only two/three full episodes, and they're of varying quality.
I also found a compilation of the cartoon adaption of Space Ace that only lasted for six episodes that's an hour long compilation of the entire "series:"

Love tearing bad movies to shreds? Join us every night at 8 PMTonight's movie is an utter mystery.
There's no IMDb page for it or any information about its production that comes up with a simple Google search. All we have is a YouTube video, title, and basic plot outline in the description. There are no credits.
All I have to offer is D.A.N.L—the science-fiction tale of "a beautiful young woman [awoken] aboard an adrift space ship with no memory of who she is or how she got there and at the mercy of the ship's mysterious computer."
And without a trailer and the only other video on YouTube in any way acknowledging this movie's existence being a video review that's every bit as baffled by its origins as we should be... Here's the trailer to Sidney Lumet's 1983 film Daniel... in German... which is about the next most baffling thing I can think to paste here before the movie tonight.

We got a pre-show playlist overloaded with The Adventures of Electra Elf & Fluffer. First the conclusion of the Electra Elf & Fluffer "origin story" (because we needed one)... followed by the next episode in the series.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, we try and figure out what the deal is with D.A.N.L from the YouTube channel "MORTAL KOMBAT PARODY."

I really want to know more about this movie's origins.
The acting seemed fine to me, but the whole thing made no sense. It was weird. It feels like a true labor of love, and I'm very curious whose labor of love it is.
This movie is a big mystery.
Tomorrow I may be babysitting after dinner. I haven't seen my niece and nephew in a while.
I'm usually working on weekend evenings, so I can't attend currently. See you on Monday!

"I'll show you all of Paris, I'll take you on a tour, we'll go up and up and up so high they'll long for an encore!"If the film was a labor of love, then someone's love was sorely misplaced.

somethingGot a dyed-in-the-wool early 80's VHS classic here tonight.
It's the delightful, candy-coated, feel-good tale about a man, his brother... and his brother's basket—Basket Case.
ive returned from the land of spells and faeries
gonna b around more i think. could use some idk "stability", "structure,", "routine"
hi bros
If it was actually a group of episodes edited into a movie, it would explain the occasional cuts to black.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerCan't be bothered with the context...
Alright, hop on over for 90's video game nostalgia with Electric Playground and Gamesmaster.
Then, at the top of the coming hour... The cult classic Basket Case.

We've seen Bill Cosby in Ghost Dad, directed by... Sidney Poitier (of all human beings).
Now, get ready for... Karen Black in Invisible Dad, directed by... Fred Olen Ray (of all other human beings), who gave us bikini model smut like Attack of the 60 Ft Centerfold and... David Carradine's most "memorable" turn in anything we've ever seen, hanging himself in the opening 120 seconds of Evil Toons.
Wonderful.
Ghost Dad, Invisible Dad... there's also a Serial Mom out there somewhere.
Alright, we got another adventure through The Crystal Maze with Richard O'Brien right now.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, it's Fred Olen Ray's magnum opus (sure, let's roll with that) Invisible Dad.

I'm curious about the movie Serial Mom. It got mixed to positive reviews at its time, and became a cult classic, but was a box office bomb.
As for what it's about? Look at the title! It's a comedy.
I totally forgot this was (is?) some sort of... thing:
Oh yeah, for a possible future pre-show, how about some Digimon Tamers (or Frontier, but Tamers is the infamous one)?
For those unaware, Digimon competed against Pokemon, but Pokemon obviously won out overall. However, among many people familiar with the both, the general consensus is that Digimon had by far the better anime, while Pokemon had by far the better games. While the Pokemon cartoon was part of a bigger franchise meant to sell games and toys and such, Digimon focused on telling a story.
And that leads me to the infamous third season, known also as Digimon Tamers. It's been called Neon Genesis Evangelion Meets Digimon, and many people report that it is fucked up. I've only seen a few episodes, the last few in fact, and I remember it being pretty screwed up, but don't remember the exact details. To quote a You Tube comment:
That season of that show is infamous for its melodrama and darkness. I think it would be an interesting trip.
If it's too dark, then perhaps Digimon Frontier, the fourth season, which also piles on the melodrama but with considerably less darkness, might work better.
The monster designs. Not all of them, but a prominent few.
