All Purpose Super Robot Wars Fanfiction Thread

I was going to make an OC pilot for the Coustwell/Coustwell Brachium and have him based on Kamina/Kittan.

The Ji Hucklebein was going to be a nod to the Chining Gundam and SEED's first (except the Aegis) Gundams before the show and it's sequel got flooded with them. And it would be transformed into the Natura via *insert event here* because *NO DATA*.

I've never really conceptualized a purely OG pilot/mech/storyline.

Right, this isn't the right place for this, but I wanted to bring up the possibility of creating a thread for the Endless frontier spin off (i've been watching videos of the first game, and I'm nearly finished). I wanted to be able to talk about that series more. Also, I wanted to vent my frustration at how there's no english translation of the second game, since I want to know more about that one.

Anyway.....might as well give a story idea.......

Oh. People in the Endless Frontier start building mechs to their proper scale, and have a giant robot tournament for both shits and giggles.

Wackiness ensues.

So, I've been playing more Super Robot Wars Judgment the past couple of nights, and a random thought occurred to me.

Suppose that (because reasons) Tekkaman Evil and Quincy Issa end up pursuing a relationship based around total hatred of their respective brothers. Sort of like hatesex, only their hate isn't directed at each other.

And now that I've managed to ruin my credibility by getting that out there, time to go watch a Gundam show.

I just recently found this doujin of Evangelion called Re:Take and I am fascinated.

Any thoughts on incorporating that to an SRW fanfiction?

Unless you wanna do AU stuff that happened as part of the storyline...

Crap, I just realized that Aldnoah Zero and Tengen Toppa's plot refuses to co-exist with each other.

...Guess I'll drop Pluto.

They somehow got Gurren Lagann to work in the same damn world as Code Geass. With some creativity, I'm sure you can get it to fit.

...now that you mention Aldnoah Zero, I noticed via Fridge Logic that it could be a distant sequel to Asura's Wrath, with Aldnoah being Mantra and the Vers royal family being the descendants of Mithra (who had unparalleled Mantra manipulation abilities almost on par with Chakravartin). It would also explain why Aldnoah reactors shut down if the owner is killed: the owner's Mantra is what powers the reactor.

To that end, here's a challenge: incorporate Asura's Wrath into Super Robot Wars. We do know that Asura's body is at least partially a human-sized Super Robot, to say nothing of his Destructor form which is at the very least Chouginga Gurren Lagann levels of powerful.

Well, there are mecha shows that involve Time Travel and/or Timey-Wimey Ball.

The only story I can think of for Asura is some research turns up his legend, and whichever side has capable time travel pulls him out of the past into the present. I have a feeling it'd be the bad guys, and they'd trick him into fighting the heroes.

But of course!

And of course, Asura wouldn't appreciate it once he found out. After all, he explicitly said his opinion of shenanigans like that:

The way I see it ending is that something as powerful as him attacks and he give his life to destroy it.

Something as powerful as Asura? Hmm...

...maybe Asura gets attacked by Arael, which results in his inner self-hate manifesting Asura's Berserker form as an Enemy Without? The one time where Asura achieved Berserker form himself, the sheer power of the form was destroying his body merely by maintaining the state - which could explain why Asura needs to sacrifice himself to put that beast down. On the other hand, this could only take place before Asura gets his Mantra Reactor because afterwards, his body can surpass the Berserker form's power level without any danger to himself.

Depends. Is Super Robot Wars known for being kinda floaty about when in the crossed over shows the robots are taken from?

I wouldn't know.

It's not a matter of continuity, it's a matter of capability. A reactorless Asura almost killed himself^note YMMV on that; considering his track record, it's entirely possible that he actually killed himself there when he willingly used his Wrath form against Chakravartin, yet Chakravartin No-Sell'd it without any effort. Asura with a reactor proceeded to obliterate Chakravartin, an entity on par with the Super TTGL, without any permanent injuries, despite said entity having been warping the laws of physics to its advantage.

So yeah, Asura with a Mantra Reactor would be a completely unstoppable Game-Breaker.

It almost writes itself, doesn't it? I don't know how much interaction the Sarge has with the other pilots in-game, but that's our jumping-off point, isn't it?

...What if Anti-Spiral and Chakravatain works together?

Lord Genome works for both of them, and it is Chakravatain that made the beastman and giving life to Nia. Therefore, at the end of all of it, Princess Nia lives much like Mithra, with Asura seeing his daughter Mithra in her.

Lord Genome and Asura could be bash brothers in the past and stuff like that, lol XD
