I can express myself better on the internet (I'm a shy person), but I do play things up for show sometimes.
Not sure. More liked in real life, I think, because I don't express my opinions as much.
Read my stories! The internet doesn't suit my rapid-fire sense of humour as well as real life, nor does it interest me as much as things that are real, though it provides a handy distraction when I'm bored.
So...the internet only sees me when I'm fed up.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'I feel much more equal online. I can talk with people older and younger than me more comfortably.
Wanna see the random crap I get up to? Me neither. http://jesseskwilliams.tumblr.com/I'm kind of mood swing-y both in and offline, so aside from perhaps having a bit more of a filter in real life, my persona is more or less exactly the same.
JK LOL I'm actually a Nigerian prince who wants to give you a ton of money!
I'm a bit more outspoken online. Well, it's not that, it's just that I have more opportunities to get into debates/discussions. Also probably more nerdy. Otherwise I'm pretty much the same.
This.
Also, it's a lot more easy for me to interact with people. But that's because there's usually more than one person posting in a thread (and therefore multiple conversations), whereas IRL, you can only hold one conversation at a time.
I'm not crippled by my shyness to the same extent (I'm still much more likely to lurk than contribute). Being in writing, I can express my thoughts better; however this can lead to not posting anything until I'm sure of how I should express it.
I don't think I'm any more likely to troll. I do that anywhere. (I once made someone believe for a few seconds that "humanism" comes from David Hume.)
A blog that gets updated on a geological timescale.More outgoing online, but i tend not to ramble on as much as i do in real life. I still do on the internet, but not as much.
I don’t even know anymore.I tend to ramble more on here. But that's mostly because someone will actually listen.
Slightly more outgoing, and I guess I swear slightly less.
FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageI don't know for sure. I think I'm slightly more timid online, mostly because I'm frightened around here...
I am a damned sight more talkative and less sweary, if that makes any sense?
I'd say I speak more often, but less at a time. I also make far fewer jokes.
I'm a little nicer online, as a product of not being able to deck people who piss me off.
In a bit of a perspective flip, the fact that everyone on the Internet (not just social networks etc., the actual Internet) is a geek means that (I've been told) I come off a s rather jock-ish (because I like football [soccer for Americans], fencing and boxing). Of course that's not a difference in me, just a difference in perspective.
Oh! Also I'm not "out" as Trans IRL.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-I'm noticeably more composed on-line. You probably don't get the impression I'm holding a delicious Large Ham here in real life; and you wouldn't realise that when I talk it is often rapid with unusual speech patterns and with arms flying this way and that.
Typing something out is a wonderful way of gathering those many, many thoughts into something digestible.
I'm a bit more willing to confront people in real life because I can be sure I'm getting my point across properly. I'm a bit more sarcastic in real life because sarcasm is a bit tricky to pull off on the internet. I also mess with people a lot more in real life because it's easier to see their reactions. Other than that, I'm pretty much the same.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.I'm not too sure, but I am more talkative and emotional I think!
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.I tend to stumble over my words in real life, whereas online I have time to organize my thoughts better into a coherent post.
I say, "... Meh," less.
That's about it, really.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I'm more brash on the internet. If I have something unpleasant on my mind, I'm much more likely to be vocally angry/whiny about it on the internet. I'm more confrontational on the internet, too (though I try not to be mean about it). I'm also much more open about my sexuality on the internet (I bring it up only when it's brought up by someone else IRL).
Oh, and I don't really swear at all IRL.
So I guess I kind of suffer from GIFT? Mildly, at least?

‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them.I'm a lot geekier online than I am in real life. Other than that I'm not much different.
<><I'd say I'm more outwardly nerdy and less argumentative on the Internet.
Tropers watching movies
Hopefully we don't approach GIFT, but how do you change when you're online? I personally find myself slightly more snarky, and able to better formulate arguments. Usually, unless I'm with close friends, I'm considerably more reticent(which i assume is the case for a lot of people).
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living things
