This is very true. Calvin And Hobbes has bath scenes, but they're not explicit or objectionable in any sense of the word. There's a bath scene, and there's a bath scene.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickJust watched the first three episodes, and so far all the characters are 15+ years old, and there is less "fanservice", if you even want to call it that, than your average Magical Girl series. Certainly nothing to compare to some of the Panty Shot a minute series that have already been cleared featuring teenagers of the same age.
I'm not seeing anything objectionable at all. It basically comes across and Gundam meets K On.

Bumping this one to move it above the locked threads. This one has three votes (two devils, one angel), and thus is at a stalemate until a replacement panel member is chosen.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Catbert's post @28 seems pretty good to me.
Eh, works for me. If we kept Strike Witches, then this shouldn't be any worse.
Edit: And now, we're at a stalemate. I sure hope we can find a fifth P5 Guy soon.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Wait, Meeble Devilheaded this? O.o
Actually, now that I look at the queue again, I apparently haven't voted on this either. I think I may have been confusing this with another series. Sorry for the mix-up.
I'll make a note to review a few episodes of this after I finish LightNovel.Papa No Iukoto O Kikinasai
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!I don't know what our policies are on linking pirated material, but subbed versions are available online for free. It shouldn't be too hard to watch it and judge for yourself.
In the episodes I watched, there was some non-sexual nudity in a brief bathing scene, but they didn't show very much, and it was all characters 15+ years of age. There are some things that could be interpeted as slight Male Gaze from time to time, but I found it barely noticable, and not really the focus on the story. The focus of the story is three teenage girls of varied personalities (the shy smart one, the spunky kendo girl, and the serious, professional military girl) learning to fly Mecha through the power of "Doing your best" and "I must try harder". Basically a cross between the mecha genre, Magical Girl shows, and Moe "cute girls doing cute things" shows like KOn.
Nothing at all compared to chapter long bath scenes and the fanservice hijinks I've seen in typical ecchi Shonen series like Ranma One Half and Negima.

I watched the first episode, and so far the most objectionable thing has been the poorly done Gratuitous English in the OP. (Can we cut for that? No? Oh well then.)
I'll watch a few more episodes (and the OVA) before I make a final decision, but if it doesn't get much worse than this I imagine I'll be voting to keep.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!I must admit I haven't seen the OVA's, and given that those don't have to get past the TV network censors, I suppose there might be something objectionable lurking there. However, if there are problems there but not in the TV version, we could just specify "TV version only".
I have heard rumors that the OVAs do contain more objectionable content than the TV series, but I haven't seen them to confirm for myself, nor do I know exactly what "more objectionable" might actually mean.
Yes, that would be a possible solution in the event that such a thing is necessary.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!I skipped to episode 8, the Hot Springs Episode, figuring that if any of the episodes had over the top fanservice issues, it would probably be that.
And the result...
None of the characters are actually shown bathing until the last few minutes. Before that everyone is fully clothed all the time.
Due to generous use of Censor Steam, Opaque Water, Scenery Censor, Anime Anatomy and modest camera angles, little to no "strategic anatomy" is actually shown. However, it is clear (mostly from seeing the top half of the breasts, not much more that would be exposed on a bikini) that the girls are not being drawn to look flat chested preteen girls.
There is a gag where the divider between the male and female section is knocked down. It is played for laughs, not sexiness.
Overall, I'm still inclined to think that this serious is fairly mild on the fanservice and sexual humor front, and I haven't seen evidence of anything that could reasonably be called fanservice for anyone less than 15.

I've watched several episodes of the TV series now, and they've all seemed about as clean as the first episode.
While I can't find the OAV from a trustworthy source, but based on tgoodrich's description I would be fine with voting keep on this series if we limit it to the TV series only. Would my fellow panel members be ok with that?

Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project! This P5 Guy would be alright with that.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. Not a P5 member but I just finished this series this morning and I gotta agree with everything Catbert said.
No disagreement on cutting out the OVA, if we can't find it anywhere. Are there even any references to it on the page beyond noting it exists?
So we're not operating on innocent until proven guilty? Unless there's evidence to the contrary (which can't also be applied to the episodes), then shouldn't the OVA be considered safe until evidence is shown otherwise?
We are working on a "be on the safe side" principle. And since there is little to say about the OVA there isn't probably much to trope about it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWell, the original OVA * is only about 30 minutes long. Shouldn't take too long to watch and judge for anyone.
As for finding it, I found Youtube vids.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)I'm not just saying "I haven't seen the episode so lets cut examples just to be safe." I'm going off of what was reported by tgoodrich1, who experience has shown to be a diligent and trustworthy source of information. I don't see how that is any different from basing a decision off of reports from people who have played a Visual Novel that I can't myself view.
At any rate, since Discar and Komodin have both expressed agreement to keeping the work page but limiting examples to the tv series only, I will go ahead and resolve it from the queue with that disposition.

Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!Request made in the P5 cleanup thread for volunteers to check and ensure that the examples are limited to the TV Series.
With that said, is there anything else that needs to be done here, or am I safe to holler for a lock?
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!Unless there's some other version that we don't know about, I think we're done with this one.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.
I think folks should give details. 'a bath scene' could be anything. a 'bath scene where we see an 8 year old's mason dixon line' needs investigation.
