Maybe it's the image of a man slowly being crushed to death...or maybe Komo's Indiana Jones in disguise.

Didn't realize the Yamada avatar was so memorable.
The line between sex comedy and porn is one that is going to end up pretty subjective even if we have a definition we can all agree upon. The definition would, after all, ultimately rest on a judgment call of what is meant to titillate and what is not.

Anyway, I asked about the work I did because it's fairly borderline, but I think it's on the fair side of the line.
If for no other reason, I want to get a good idea of where the line is with reference to a work I'm actually familiar with.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Eh, they aren't that bad. Except maybe Kanokon's anime. That's pretty bad.
That's my take on it as well, which is why I much prefer having a group of five reviewing the works and making the calls than say, a single individual. Since everyone's "cut-off" is different, five sets of eyes makes the process far more equitable for everyone involved, IMO.

Are those two just dumb fanservice? That's the vibe I'm getting.

Aye...
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. They're Fanservice. They're not that bad, but the Kanokon anime is...yeah.

Tropers watching moviesWell, I guess I've said my piece. I'd like that work to be formally reviewed, even though I don't think this should be cut. :/

Marq doesn't count, Lu!
The Kanokon manga was pretty terrible and I could only get through about 15 chapters. The protagonist is also very young looking. I don't know if I'd call it porn or Eiken level plotless fanservice, but the protagonist would lend points in the cut direction, most likely.

Ah, that reminds me.
I've seen "Plot With Porn" used to refer to stories with sex scenes. That is simply misleading. To be Plot With Porn you'll need a lot more of sex scenes.
On Kanokon, I've seen it. I remember me and my friend discussing the unique experience; we felt strangely insulted watching it. It's hard to describe.

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.@Dark Confidant: If you flag it, we're bound to take a look at it. Not being familiar with the work itself, I can't really comment on it without review, and there's a big backlog on the queue that would prevent me from devoting a lot of time to something that hasn't been flagged yet.

Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project! It's being TRS'ed. We're planning on changing it to some variation of ContainsExplicitContent.
Honestly, I'm not really sure if I could flag it without running afoul of the rules, since I don't in good faith believe it should be cut. I do believe in good faith that it has enough questionable content to be reviewed though.

Inumimi actually got less explicit as it went on. The worst stuff is in the first 3 or 4 chapters (it's only 15 chapters).
Kanokon's light novel and manga have stories, but at least the manga has a lot of fanservice. The anime is pure near-smut. And regular smut. The MC looks really young in the anime. The manga version is young-looking but still looks like a teen to me.
@Catalogue: I think that's run of the mill Trope Decay, most times. That's why I absolutely do not use trope lists to make my decision (though I will use them as a guide for things I particularly want to look out for when reviewing a work.)
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!Hm, have we decided on what we should do with Bliss Stage: Love Is Your Weapon?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I haven't even looked at it yet, so I can't say one way or another. :/
edit: I've been reviewing works on the queue from oldest to youngest in terms of the date they were flagged, since the biggest concentration of votes cast at the time I started was with the works that had been in queue the longest.

Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!I think this will set precedent for reviewing unreleased works, But for what its worth the lead dev is the troper Tsundere Lightning asking him is all I can think of at the moment.
It's a sex comedy. It's not Porn.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. Dick
Why would being a lamia make it worst?
Though you know, maybe Inumimi and Kanokon should be looked at?
