@ Rojixus: Yeah, the Six-Tails' jinchuriki. If I'm not mistaken, Utakata was already dead by this point in the manga, so I guess the filler arc was done to give him some more characterization before he gets Edo Tensei'd by Madara .

Sad endings aside, the good news is that we're finally, finally, at Pain's Invasion of Konoha.

So what's the craziest ad you guys got in the first ad break for Tokyo Ghoul?

Mine was a perfect blend of unintentional Mood Whiplash, Mood Dissonance and excellent timing. I got an upbeat ad for Subway right after the scene where Kanekei first began going apeshit and began craving human flesh.

I missed Samurai Jack so I could go see Logan again with some friends and pay ridiculous prices for oversized popcorn and 100-pieces worth of Mc Donald's chicken nuggets.

So what you're saying is, you missed Samurai Jack to watch that same exact episode of Samurai Jack just in live action movie format starring Hugh Jackman and with a slightly different ending.

No clue, but the episode of Robot Chicken on right now (it's the one with this Inuyasha sketch) is randomly applying a robotic vocal filter to characters, which is making my ears ring a bit.

And now there's random audience reactions (like laugh tracks) and blooper noises for Mike Tyson Mysteries. I really don't know what to expect for the rest of the day.

At any rate, I'm steeling myself for any kind of weirdness, even if I can't anticipate it.

That's honestly not the worst possible outcome...

I will readily admit I have a soft spot for the Ham-Ham gang (my middle school self happily enjoyed pretty much every show on Toonami), so I could live with that. If you're going to go full-on with the wackiness, you might as well throw in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo while you're at it.
