This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking For An Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Love Hungry has two. The first one is from MLP (ponies) All Blue Entry and if the potholes are removed, it doesn't say much. The second is from LOTR and I'd say much better.
Considering Get a Room!, I don't think they're fun or very relevant. I'm not sure they'd add much to quote page — adding into the example write up would be IMHO the best. Agreed with Candi that the description could use some tweaking.
EDIT: Hmm, fair enough, but the potholes are not very pretty in the quote.

Love Hungry: To be fair, the second quote to me looks more like a tyrant Queen than a love hungry one. The pony quote seems better there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCuteand Psycho has the same pony quote.
New theme music also a boxCuteand Psycho: I think that should go, if we need to break a tie. Consider that it has little psycho.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOn Get a Room!, looks like we have a fairly even split between "get rid of the second quote" and "get rid of both quotes." Any more input?
Get rid of the second one on Get a Room!. The first one is ok.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Removed the second quote from Get a Room!.
Straw Misogynist has two quotes. They both work, IMO, but I like the second quote from Snow White better, on the shallow grounds that it's cute.
I agree with that assessment.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAs do I.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Moved the Baldur's Gate quote from Straw Misogynist to the quotes page.
Do the potholes stay, or do they get taken out of non-page-heading quotes as well?
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettForced to Watch has a poorly fitting quote with spoilers. I suggest this one from Who Framed Roger Rabbit as a replacement:
Weasel: [talking about Eddie Valiant] Shall I "repose" of him right now, Boss?
Doom: Let him watch his toon friends get Dipped. Then shoot him.

Forced to Watch: The switch seems OK for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCan we change it so it quotes Winston Churchill instead?
I'm confused. Change what to Winston Churchill?
^ What s/he said.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanEh, did the change.
Too Dumb to Live has a complainy critic quote. My suggestion for a replacement:
Ray: Why would I be nervous?
Lindesfarne: Because... I'm an insectivore.
Ray: What's an insectivore?
Lindesfarne: (whispers to Tammy) Not too big on self-preservation, is he?
Ray: What's self-preservation?
— Lindesfarne (a hedgehog) and Ray (a firefly) in Kevin & Kell
Besides the attribution (which I don't know about one way or another), I think it worked better without the full quote. Now it's primarily about pigs.
Also, for Too Dumb to Live, I think some of the quotes on the Quotes page are preferable to the above suggestion, notably the Community and first Daffy Duck examples.

I think you'r right. Removed it.
The Daffy Duck quote is a maybe for me (""He does so have to shoot me now! I demand that you shoot me now!"), but I don't feel that the Community quote would add anything to the page. It's just a repeat of the trope description, really. Anyone else have thoughts?
Too Dumb to Live makes me think of a Nodwick quote, available in slightly different form in some Darwin accounts: "Hold my beer and watch this." Usually preceding an attempt at something really really dumb. (Like Yaeger going out to fight against way too high odds.)
I like the Discworld quote myself: ->"Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are bastards'." —>— Rincewind on Twoflower, The Colour Of Magic
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettI'd be fine with the Discworld quote.
Too Dumb to Live: The Discworld quote is good for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRincewind quote works for me, too.
And while I'm here, Reality Ensues has two quotes. The problem is that neither of them are really all that demonstrative of the trope, and nothing on the quotes tab really catches my attention in that regard.
All your safe space are belong to Trump
Gah. That description could be clearer.
The concept is two people who are attracted to each other on a romantic/physical level are told, usually as comedy, to 'get a room'. One meant-to-be humorous implication is that if the people in question don't, they might start being intimate right there. Another is in the context of 'just get together and quit dancing around it already', usually applied to Cannot Spit It Out situations. Also applied to established couples who tend to get a little too close in public.
Sometimes it tends to Black Comedy by way of Foe Yay. In those situations it's usually meant as a snark.
That's why the first quote works in my opinion, since it clearly illustrates a very common usage of the trope.
Edit: New page. The trope I'm referring to is Get a Room!
