Well, I just finished working on a Castlevania corruption fic called "Ordination," which contains plot devices ripped directly off of Indiana Jones and The Goonies while combining them with more passive references to The Lost Boys, all three Back to the Futures, A Storm of Swords, and Madoka.
Written entirely while I was listening to Big Arm.

Teens dress as Batman to catch pedophiles; cops not impressedMy work's named Neo Aima (which according to Google Translate is "New Blood"), a trope overdosed series with a Naruto-esque format, but in a Gray and Grey Morality World. Currently in a chapter 1, bogged down by minor details.
If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromI'm currently staring at the nearly-complete novel left over from Na No Wri Mo and trying to urge myself to finish it. That will probably have to wait until after the holidays because I'm so busy, but I'd like to complete it and not leave it hanging before starting on my next major project, which is a rewrite of the first novel-length thing I ever wrote. (I don't know if you could call it a proper novel, though I did complete it.)
I'd also love to get started on editing my most recently-completed novel, but not a one of my betas has gotten back to me, and there's no indication some of them have even started reading it. The last I heard from one was that she was about "five chapters" from the end, and I don't know if this means Ending Fatigue has set it, if the work is just that uninteresting, if they're all really busy (though most of them got copies in October or so), or if my friends are all just flakes.

"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaCurrently in the "mind crack" stage of planning my novel. It's there, and it's brilliant, but it can't seem to find it's way on paper. I lack motivation. Does anybody else, especially other discovery writers, get this? Whenever I try to plan it, I hate what I've planned/outlined, but if I just jump into it it doesn't work out
WHY DON'T YOU READ IT AND FIND OUT, HUHHHH?
In all seriousness, I am 60 pages in 2nd draft, I have 200 pages of 1st draft, and I am currently in the process of idea plotting (as always), as well as writing side stories, which I have a rough draft for the first scene of.
Read my stories!Last night I
- finished a sentence from a previous session
- scratched out a sentence in the previous paragraph
- revised the latest sentence
- wrote a short new sentence
Net gain 0.5 sentences for a night's work. Is it any wonder the book has taken 13 years to get to this point?
Under World. It rocks!Keep in mind, I do have quite a bit of writing on my hands. It's all a matter of starting and not wanting to finish. I always have a lot of steam and vision when coming up with an idea, the former wears off way too quickly.
Most of my work can be found here.
- Repairs: Slowly but surely. All my writer's block is focusing on this one and Upgrades.
- Upgrades: Did I mention writer's block
- You Only Live Forever: Indefinite hiatus.
Original Works:
- The Matt Black Extended Adventures are an ongoing series of independent stories taking place in the same continuity. Not really required.
- The Procedure: Currently my priority work. I'm working on that nightly with great progress.

I'm between novels. In fact, I'm having a long-deserved writing break (I do writing exercises every day to make sure I don't lose touch).
I am editing a finished novel, however.
I'm still working out the details of a novel called "Tales from Lockout." I just finished the outline of another story that I'm not sure if I want to make it into a novel or just go ahead and make a Sim movie series out of it.
Also, I'm trying to write the eleventh chapter of Decks Fall, Everyone Dies, but I seem to have trouble writing endings. I have the jokes I'll use planned out and the filk songs, though.

I'm an elephant. Rurr.Mythology 101 Cycle (page will be fixed eventually): 114 pages into the first book, will finish next year unless I get run over by a tank or something; book 2 is already about 20 pages long
The Sex Star: About 80% finished with Chapter 14; Chapters 1-13 are published on Literotica
Music City: 9 chapters (about 25 pages) finished; looking to be a very short book, since there are only about 35 chapters planned
Jesus saves. Gretzky steals, he scores!Working steadily on Shinigan; it just goes up on FF.net as chapters are finished, and I'm morally opposed to Orwellian Retcon, so it's an interesting exercise in trying to make final-draft-quality material in one draft. Around 15 chapters done. Mostly planning stages on Rogue Power; I once wrote about 20 pages of first draft and then, after coming back to it, concluded that it was going far too fast and being too explicit with themes that I was intending to come out subtly over time, so I need to rewrite that. Maybe once I have some actual time somewhere. Other things have never had anything written on them, and are probably some time away from such an event.
Shinigan (Naruto fanfic)Continued writing Advent Pitch just yesterday until I realized that the main lead's characterization was way off.
It's done! Eternal is finally done! I just submitted chapters 2-12 to be posted—when they're all up, I'll bump the thread I created for chapter 1.
That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulMidas isn't really going to have a preplanned plot, necessarily, so one of these days this week I'm going to start on it and see how far I get.
I'm about fifty pages into Innocence Lost, but I hit a kind of roadblock with it (don't ask, I can't explain properly) and set it down for now.
"Shit, our candidate is a psychopath. Better replace him with Newt Gingrich."I'm currently writing up a short little mythos-building story that is basically the legend behind the world's variant of Christmas. Which is actually more like a mash-up of Thanksgiving and Hanukkah. It tells the story of how ice magic was bestowed by the gods unto the people of the world, allowing them to preserve food. (Each of the world's Elemental Powers has a similar story, but the food-preservation one has the biggest holiday because it conveniently allows for feasting. The story where man was given life magic, enabling them to treat wounds and know the microbial origins of diseases, gets to have the Easter analogue. But I don't think Earth, Air, or Fire will have real-world analogues as far as holidays go.)
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaBanging my head against the wall again with the Nanoha works. Fortunately I have good stuff planned for other stories.
Nous restons ici.Just finished my first chapter of World Wars.* Currently planning out next chapter and what exactly I'm going to do about a certain Alien Scrappy.
Looking for some stories? One of my friends wants to see me write a series of articles ranting about my opinions in various factors of storytelling, so in order to please her, I am doing one right now.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI'm wondering what direction to take the female lead of my story. Having read a lot of the commentary her story has gotten, I see a lot of opportunities for character development for her, and I also see opportunities to give her the Heel Realization of her life.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.the 3rd story in my series (unnamed), trying to figure out how to get Arianne and Blaise to meet, and backtracking to see if i can finally put down the location the story takes place it, filling in all the blanks i left where street names should be.
(after which i'll go through the much more tedious process of making the location and the location names fit together)

In the middle of the 2nd chapter of a Pokemon fanfic.
devArt | Pokemon RED: a fan-fic (also on dArt)I'm writing my Final Fantasy VI fanfic, Desert Alliance. I'm inching toward the climax, after I finish this scene about Locke and Edgar treasure hunting.
I'm also writing this year's Na No Wri Mo story, The Celestial Legend. I'm at the climax of this one, where a great truth is revealed to the main character, Lucian, and he must make a decision on where to go next. They're both quite exciting and keep me writing more!
Even when your hope is gone, move along, move along just to make it through
323 panels into Edgestuck. Act 1 isn't even done yet.
