YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT:

  1. Find trope names that sound like they could be the names of My Little Pony characters.
  2. Describe that pony based on the trope name, the trope itself, whatever.
  3. This is similar to the Trope Names For A Band page/game.
  4. You can use works titles if you really want to.
  5. If you REALLY have a lot of time on your hands, use this doodad to make them.

GO!

Ironclad: A blue-gray pony. Her cutie mark is a heart with a padlock on it. She believes in The Power of Love above all things, and is a hardcore Shipper on Deck... even if other people don't see her "True Loves of Ponyville" the way she does.

His name is Qwerty and he represents the trope Most Writers Are Stallions.

Rainbow Dash learns this trope when she gets excited over a comic book coming out based on the Wonderbolts. The male Wonderbolts are the strong heroes she knew they'd be, but she's more than disappointed at how Spitfire is written. She's portrayed as a weak, whiny thing that cries when she chips a hoof. Her "duty" to the team seems to be getting captured so the guys can save her. Dash decides she'll take her complaint straight to the writer of the comic. Twilight Sparkle comes along to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid, like throw him out a window.

When Dash confronts Qwerty, she angrily tells him what a disservice he's done to her role model. He responds "You mean not all mares are like that?" Seems Qwerty has been a comic book geek all his life and the only female interaction he's had was his mother, who was a bit whiny and needy. ("Are you going to read comic books all day? Eek! A spider!") Twilight invites him to her library to read some books with strong female leads like Jane Mare, Gone With the Whinny, The Hoofmare's Tail, Their Eyes Were Watching Celestia, A Tree Grows in Ponyville and The Valley of Humans from the Equstria's Foals series.

Between reading pro-mare fiction and spending time with the mane 6, Qwerty learns how to accurately write female characters. Twilight writes about the incident to Celestia, outlining the lessons learned.

Shocking Swerve: A yellow-and-black pony whose cutie mark is a "Turns Sharply Ahead" roadsign. He's a bit of a Mood-Swinger who's happy and perky one minute and freaky and depressed the next. Even Pinkie Pie thinks he's a bit much.

Red Herring: A red pony with a fish cutie mark. Has a way of always ending up in places where he's not wanted and causing a lot of distractions.

Vehicle Vanish - A pegasus who pulls carts and they pull carts FAST. Think of all those crazy taxi drivers who speed through impossibly tiny gaps and red lights, yet never crash. Has a talent of arriving conveniently whenever someone needs a ride NOW!

Also, shouldn't the thread title say "ponify?"

Shrinking Violet - Extremely shy mare whose Cutie Mark is a bouquet of flowers. She runs a florist in Ponyville, selling some of the unedible plants as a decoration.

Here's one i created based on the trope page for Hollywood California. I'll let her tell you about herself since she really likes doing that.

Like, hi-ee! My name is Palm Frond and I am, like, so totally stoked to be here in Ponyville! I'm originally from Hoofywood, but, like, the parental units said I should, like expand my horizons or something. I hope that's not like expanding my waistline! I mean, this one filly called Pinkie Pie offered me a cupcake and I'm like "As if!" I mean, hello! I totally ate nearly half a carrot yesterday! Does she want me to chub up like Fluttershy obviously did after she quit being a model? OK, more about me. My hobbies are tanning, shopping and, like, talking to cute colts! I got my cutie mark when I, like, discovered how to make a tanning oil that doesn't frizz up your coat using coconut oil! My turn offs are foreign films, (Eew! who wants to read at a movie?)knock-off brands and, like, stallions who smoke. I mean, like, gag me! Ooh, that's my cell. Gotta dash! Bye-ee!

And here is: Ghost Shipping - She's a rather quiet filly whose dream is to find a nice vampire stallion to fall in love with. But she'll settle for a zombie or a ghost. (No weres, please.) She got her cutie mark after she found she had a talent for writing supernatural romance. She recently published a novel under the pen name Stephanie Mare. Her favorite game is Story Of The Blanks. Her favorite book/movie is The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow. (That ghost stallion is so hot!)

Since no one else seems interested in the pony creator, can I create other people's ponies?

Scope Snipe: A changeling Sniper that was supposed to take out Cadence, but fell asleep on the job...

Obscure? Random? Bombs? They're yours my friend, as long as you have enough tropies! CROSSWICK EVERYTHING!!!

Aesop Amnesia: a clueless young filly with a cutie mark consisting of three question marks. Exasperates her parents because no matter how many times she learns a life lesson, you can count on her to make the same mistake again the next day.
