He's speaking about the VA Toa Yukinari, apparently she could be the VA of Love Heart in XIV, replacing Atsuko Tanaka from back in the Pachislot game (I'm inclined to agree, I'd know Atsuko's voice if I heard her, it sounded similar, but it's not her). And...

Uh let's just say that Mighty Kombat is pretty open about his fetish for hot tanned female characters, which happens to be one of Yukinari's roles, Bullet.

Therefore, he was thinking if she could get a page. I created a page for Atsushi Imaruoka after I know he has at least 5 known roles, so... yeah, personal regulation when creating a new VA page.

Surprises: There are still returners like Harumi Ikoma (King, no longer doing Nakoruru), Kong Kuwata (Geese), Atsushi Maezuka (Benimaru, Choi).

But... I'm quite hyped that K' now can go RYUUJIN NO KEN O KURAE!!!

So apparently the game's already come out in some places thanks to retailers breaking the street dates, which means leaks galore. First off, we have the intro for Story Mode, but if that weren't enough, we've also got the cutscenes for before and after the final boss. The intro's mostly spoiler free, unless you consider a bunch of unrelated random images spoilers, but the second link is chock full of them, so watch at your own risk.

EDIT: Okay; as it turns out, the second link isn't that full of spoilers. Whoever played the game only used an Edit team, so while you still get to see some cutscenes and the final boss, there's nothing that's actually that revealing or spoilery, so go check it out if you want to.

Also, someone's been uploading most of the endings. I haven't checked most of them out myself, (I don't want to spoil everything for me, do I?) but I did check out the Official Invitation Team ending. If that's anything to go by, then the endings seem to be like the old games, with still portraits and every team getting one rather than full-motion endings. That said, what's really interesting just what happens in the Official Invitation Team's ending.

Kukri's standing over a giant purple crater in the Ukraine; one of many that the Final Boss spewed out when he got the crap beat out of him. A rather familiar young woman seems to be walking towards him before we see just what's in the crater: Ash Fucking Crimson, back from the dead non-existence. And when we cut back to the woman, we see that it's none other than Elizabeth smiling with joy and relief as tears start to well up on her face.

I've also skimmed a few other endings, and Ash isn't the only one getting a second chance. Gaidel (Leona's father and the last of the Orochinaga,) is coming back too, and it seems he's far from the only one. Thanks to the death of XIV's final boss, the dead seem to be coming back en masse, (relatively speaking,) which means we could be seeing anyone from Rugal to the New Face Team to maybe even Jeff Bogard, because if they're bringing back NPC's that were dead from the get-go like Gaidel, than anyone's fair game. And that's probably what a large part of XV's going to be about whenever SNK gets around to it, which almost makes me wish we were getting that right after XIV came out. (Almost.)

Has anyone noticed the final boss has Pokemon Speak during his gameplay & being defeated? In intro cutscene he seems to have Hulk Speak temporarily before going Pokemon Speak later on

Maybe we can even get some Samurai Shodown bosses in XV. Calling dibs for either Amakusa, Mizuki or Yuga the Destroyer. Or even some The Last Blade characters are fair game this way.

Anyway, where do I find those vids? Aside of the first two, it doesn't seem to exist in Youtube.

Heh. So much for SNK having the guts to erase a main character. I think Ash gained a bit of pity from his end in the last arc, but it'll be interesting to see how people react to this whole thing.

Now that I look into it... isn't Nakoruru a little more flightier than her in the original game? AFAIK, Nakoruru has always been super serious or demure. But here, she seems to be able to afford times to actually act like a girl of her age... at her time of ascension into nature spirit (around 17 years old). As in, actually laughing and good interacting with Mui Mui like best friends.

So from people who have seen gameplay videos of Verse, without going into too many spoilers, how do he and Antonov look as SNK Bosses? Are they more tame, or do they match up to the legendary ones?

Antonov looks pretty mild. I could see him being balanced for player use.

Haven't watched much of Verse, but what little I saw he didn't seem too bad.

Man, i've noticed that alot of fighting game bosses seem much tamer nowadays. If they even have bosses, and not rival matches or slightly buffed versions of playable characters. Guess with the genre becoming more mainstream, and with the need to make the arcade version more difficult to get money out of people, it's seen as an outdated trend.

So which track of the OST are you most looking forward to hearing in full? For me, it's I'm THE KING OF FIGHTERS V.2 (Since it's basically KOF XIV's answer to RASHIDOOOO), the Ikari Warriors theme and of course, Live to Burn (Or whatever the theme song is called).

All the videos I've seen are the low level version that people play so they can blaze through the story mode

Chris is officially 14, Shermie is 21. Seven years gap, true, but it's not that big (compare it to Shinji and Misato from Neon Genesis Evangelion; the latter is older than the former by at least double that difference [15 years], which ironically is just one year more than his age [14]), and before I bothered to check his age I had pegged him at just a little younger than Athena, Kensou, and Shingo. Also, for some reason I often had the trope Older Than They Look come to mind when I considered him.

You should still probably age him up a little...or maybe they should.

So when he's twenty, she'd be twenty-eight. That may or may not work better. You'd need to hear what others say.

Random question: Does Shermie has Super Strength due to her Orochi heritage?

... Dude, who does not have at least a minimal amount of Super-Strength in the KOF tournament? All of them take getting hit by fireballs and solid steel wrecking balls like a regular martial artist would take a normal punch, and they all seem to have no more trouble kicking away a 7' 5" giant than they do a 5'-nothing kid.
