Seeing how intense and quick things at the Liner are getting, I'm kind of getting put off of introducing another six characters there (they're in the same group, and I can't leave even one of them out). I think I'll make them a "shimmering" bunch - get them in and out of background when it's getting (in)convenient. Some might even recognize them - they were at the Capital.

Spiral out, keep going.

On second thought, I might hold off on joining Space Liner for a while. Suddenly got a lot of shit to deal with. I'll try to post in Dream later today or tomorrow though.

Well now that Wolf finally posted, I can work on something now. Holy sh*t hades a lot happened in-between though.

EDIT: Posted. It was short, but it was what all I could come up with at the moment.

@Killer Clowns, reading about Enkar's Kykzavi accent made me chuckle a bit, since I almost fit the description of Terrans' comparison of it: I'm a Russian-speaking Kazakh who learned to speak English from the Turks. grin Granted, Turkey and Jamaica are far from each other, and not only geographically, and the Turks' and the Jamaicans' accents sound nothing alike, but I just couldn't not draw the parallels.

Spiral out, keep going.

...Fuck, how are ya'll posting some intense shit so fast in Liner? I'm gonna have a hard time keeping up and posting my characters!

That last statement is partly a joke but in seriousness I really need some help so I can know where to jump in. :/

Alright, I posted in Dream. A bit shorter than I would have liked, but today has been kind of difficult for multiple reasons.

Hey sorry I've not been able to post. I'm still getting over a fever, but I should be over it in a bit.

You guys are fast posters... and I'm on legally prescribed amphetamines with a side dose of caffeine. surprised

So yeah, any weird shit I come up with can be chalked up to stimulants speeeeeeeeeeeed! tongue

I will eventually add my puppeteer doll to Speed Liner. Because I decided to walk into a comic book store to browse their selection.

EDIT: Don't mind me, I'm actually tired from staying up all night due to too much coffee yesterday.

Ladytanunki, is the dolls' magic "generic good magic" or actually something holy, because that will change how Phagora reacts.

Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!

I know this is a little preemptive, but can you not speed ahead of me, please? I'll post before the end of the day (for at least Space Liner; possibly Dream too if I can get over my writer's block for that thread), but right now I'd rather be doing other things and I don't want to get left behind.

Ya'll just gonna do me like that, huh...

I'll do some reading and then see what I can post for Liner. Don't know what to post for Frontier though, lol.

New threads are always fast, at first. It'll slow down to a more reasonable pace sooner or later...

Speaking of a reasonable pace: My characters could use some engagement, if you're interested, MoC. Sakura's in Club Bizzare, Kiryu's in the Dark Matter Lounge.

Not entirely dead.

I will eventually get Mari to her natural habitat (read: a bar) as soon as she catches up with the Wolfe Pack and gives Junko and Ayako their room keys.

Maybe if we time it right, we can get someone to do a variant of the 'a priest and a rabbi' joke. "Oh look, an oni/demon and a ____ just walked in! I feel this is the start of a joke or something..."

I'm also thinking of having Mari pull off an Inadvertent Entrance Cuenote  by ordering a drink. Of course, I might have said character pop up if someone says their name. tongue

Yup character introductions and group splitting always go on turbo. Once people separate into their groups things tend to slow down. Probably for the best since trying to follow the thought process of a higher dimensional being is proving harder than I thought.

Oops. Just realized I had my character tell Gabriel to take Anna to the medical bay. Do we even have one of those on the ship?

How dare you disrupt the sanctity of my soliloquy?

Like, it would be kind of suspect if there wasn't, and cruise ships aren't exactly productive in preventing disease by their mere nature. So honestly, if there's no medical facility, the owners of the Space Liner must be legally untouchable or gleefully capable of ignoring lawsuits- No Biochemical Barriers doesn't apply to everything after all.

Regarding staff bots, I'm really wanting to leave that up to someone else regarding how they react to Gabriel & Anna. Though speaking of robots, I'm really excited to be playing Horizon Zero Dawn tomorrow so... Probably only post for Space Liner tomorrow.

@WillDeRegio: Love the Fan Nickname - quite a good idea since technically there's only two of the Mad Bastards there - Aubrey and Pearl are from the same place but not part of the standard team and Gwion and Sophia are visiting from another universe...

Splitting up of my herd is already underway...

So, I won't be getting around to posting for Liner tonight, due to my mom binge watching Hamlet and Mac— The Scottish Play (the ones starring Patrick Stewart) on PBS's website on my computer.

Also, while I have commentary on recent posts, I'm also on the verge of nodding off in a chair, and might inadvertently stick my foot in my mouth if I tried to go on in detail.

On the subject of thread commentary, I can't help but think Magdalene and Lucina would probably get along swimmingly.

On the subject of Magdalene, I'm not entirely sure what I want to post for her right now. I'll try to have something up for her within the next couple days.

So what's your hangup in Frontier, Masterofchaos?

Well, both Amy and Maya are away from your characters and don't have anyone else to talk to, mostly. And there's just the usual writer's block I have, lol.

[up]

Well, Davey (before breaking into hum-song) did invite Maya to stay and keep him company instead of waiting all by herself. Barring that avenue, you could always try drumming up some kind of internal dialogue. A bit of poking about your characters' thoughts, considering things like what they've been though, where they are, and/or where things seem to be going. Or you could try to expand your characters a bit; invent or shed light on some new aspect to them that might push things forward, or at least keep them occupied for a little while.

Barring all of that, you could have a giant gaping pit open up directly beneath the bed and breakfast, swallowing it whole and transporting it to the center of Antichthon, where they sometimes show movies.
