This thread is to request that a locked article be unlocked. Please read the guidelines below before making a request.
- Please see Locked Pages and Permanent Redlink Club first. If an article is on the Permanent Redlink Club, it will not be unlocked, ever.
- Pages cut a while ago were automatically locked. Before asking for an unlock, make sure that the article you want to create is in the proper Namespace, has gone through YKTTW if it's a trope, and otherwise fulfills our guidelines for Creating New Pages.
- If you just want to make an edit to an article, post here instead.
- Don't ask for new Main redirects. Those are only for old articles with lots of existing inbounds.
Original post
I'll start it off: could someone please unlock Hootie And The Blowfish so I can make a new page on it? The last page was cut for being copypasta from Wikipedia.

Main.Panzer World Galient should be moved to Anime.Panzer World Galient. However, the latter page is locked; I suspect it was cut after being created as a stub.
I believe that work pages created as stubs should be unlocked after being cut (unless it's a vandalism case), so somebody can write an actual summary if they care. VideoGame.Crossfire is one example.

No, we will not unlock that page, given what you're trying to have done to it.
Unlocked both of those. Yes, there should be some solution that allows stub cuts to be unlocked, but until there is, you should just ask here.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Main.Pokemon Black And White 2 is locked; may I submit a request for it to be unlocked, please? I had been planning to make it a redirect to VideoGame.Pokemon Black 2 And White 2. I am at a loss as to why Main.Pokemon Black And White 2 was locked, although my suspicion for the lock reason is that there has been debate regarding how to "properly" refer to/title the paired games as one collective entity, with the "2" being a pesky problem (i.e., should there be one "2" or two "2"s?) as I've noticed on some Pokémon forums/websites recently.
As for official English use, it appears that both Pokémon Black and White 2 and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 are both used. The official website for Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 has the URL using the former title, while the actual webpage's title (the thing at the top of the browser window) uses the latter title. Case in point - both titles are equally valid.
I personally use/prefer Main.Pokemon Black 2 And White 2 to refer to the games, but I figured that it would be convenient to make a redirect to Main.Pokemon Black And White 2 for tropers who refer to the games by that alternate title.
Thanks in advance for taking the above into consideration!

"Pokemon Black And White 2 found in: 0 articles, excluding discussions. Since January 1, 2012 this article has brought 0 people to the wiki from non-search engine links."
There are no links to the article, therefore no redirect is needed. We should be encouraging all wicks to employ the proper namespace.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Fanfic.Fuck The Jesus Beam was cut and locked, and the P5 deny they or the content policy had anything to do with it. "Its very vulgar title makes restoring the page low on people's priorities." Still, it needs to be unlocked.
It needs to be restored, not just unlocked. The issue is that someone accidentally blanked it and someone else cutlisted it without paying attention to the page history.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhy not just unlock it? We might wait indefinitely for a restoration. Wanting the page restored as it was would be a wish practically impossible to fulfill now.

The article can be restored. The question is, do we have agreement to restore it?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Judging by the comments on the discussion page, I'd say yes.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't see why the tearjerker page for Kung fu panda and the nightmare fuel page for 2 stupid dogs need to be locked.
Links, please?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerTearJerker.Kung Fu Panda and NightmareFuel. Two Stupid Dogs
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFrom what I see, the first got cut because the only entry was from the second movie, which has its own page and the second got lost in the Nightmare Fuel migration. Unlocked them.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerWould it also be possible to unlock the Awesome. The Amazing World Of Gumball page?

Sure, I guess.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerHey, could YMMV.TheHuemnCeniped2TheHumenMilipede be unlocked? There were some YMMV items on the main page that I took out and are in need of a home, and whatever problem there was (probably because it's a Troll Fic) seems to be from a year ago.... XD

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/X-COMEnemyUnknown2012 is evidently a locked/cut page, possibly due to having been cut and pasted to https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/X-COMEnemyUnknown2012. However, I can't for the life of me seem to get a link to direct to the Video Game page of the 2012 X-COM game, only the Main page, which is an empty page with a lock on it.
Could someone unlock it, or make it a redirect to the video game page?
We don't make /Main/ redirects to namespaced pages unless they have significant wicks (if there aren't many, they are moved) or inbounds (usually 10+). Neither is the case here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTo make a link direct to the actual page is simple: Put Video Game/ (the namespace in front. The full link looks like VideoGame/{{X-COM Enemy Unknown 2012}} and gives X-COM Enemy Unknown 2012
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. Is there a reason for Sandbox.Blue Eyes to be locked?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWe could go with a good unlocking of Funny.Garfield Specials

I want to write an artice on Fluidity but it's locked.
I'd like to make few edits to Characters.Final Fantasy VII, but it's locked apparently due to shipping wars.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. There is a [1] thread in the FAQ forum for edit requests.

I think it is now safe enough to unlock the Fallen Creator Topic given how most of the controversy has died down.
