Like all Shōnen protagonists, The Hero in my story (yes, Mr/Ms Chihuahua0, yes it is), has some weapons and skills and I'd like you to see how it sounds so far. This is a nutshell version, btw.

Enemies:

  • Mutated monsters that are made out of one or two human, with noticeably durable body structure.
  • Rogue magicians, who mostly can use pyrokinesis and telekinesis that can destory a normal person in few seconds.
  • In one of worse times, (relatively small) Eldritch Abomination few dozens feet tall.
  • The Lancer before his Heel–Face Turn ! , who can throw small cars and with his Superpowered Evil Side, can run through walls and block knife with his bare arm.

Equipment:

  • Ka-Bar combat knife: Weapon Of Choice
  • Eastwood: A Colt Python .367 with shorter barrel...that fires magic and normal bullets, including:
    • Incinerate Round: Sets the target on fire.
    • Freeze Round: Freeze. Harmless Freezing. The Hero's round of choice.
    • Storm Round: Fires a huge, concentrated current of wind. Non lethal with enormous recoil, but has very wide range.
    • Lightning Round: Fires a lightning that connects to nearest person around the target. Very good for many enemies.
    • Piercer Round: Always go through an object before hitting a target.
    • Normal Round: Real .367 bullet. Can bypass Anti-Magic fields.
    • Possession/Forbidden Round: Can turn the target into a monster that follows his command. Permanent.
  • Warmage's Coat: A black longcoat, resistance to low level magic. If he flows his energy through it, it can be reinforced enough to block bullets.
  • Gigante's Hand: A gauntlet/glove that can be summoned on his hands and act like part of his body. Can create a Beehive Barrier and blow a concentrated blast of energy. Can use it for crawling vertical surfaces as well.

Skill (physical):

  • He is a Kung-Fu Wizard who is pretty good with Krav Maga, as in, able to take down at least 4 armed thugs without getting hurt.
  • Good with his combat knife.
  • Abnormally high reflex, as being able to catch an arrow if he sees one coming+ .
  • Very proficient in parkour.
  • High endurance, enough to sprint a mile.
  • High durability: can shrug getting hit by a truck, although it's more has to do with his reinforced longcoat.
  • Lightning Bruiser who can later with additional training, can perform Flash Step.

Well, this is it for today, suppose. Will elaborate more tomorrow. Good night, fellow tropers :D

Oh, and the Dark Action Girl in the story, when in her peak condition, can dodge a bullet...point blank. How fast would you have to be to actually do that?

Very fast- some bullets are able to break the sound barrier.

•In one of worse times, (relatively small) Eldritch Abomination few dozens feet tall.

The problem is not their size...

There are too many toasters in my chimney!

Using the vague estimation that center mass is one foot wide, and that the gunman is aiming for the center...

Assuming that you mean pop-culture "point blank" which is approx. 3 feet or less from the person...

And let's just be nice and say that they're being shot at with a pistol, so a muzzle velocity of maybe 800 ft/s...

The bullet reaches the person in .00375 seconds. During that time, the person has to move horizontally by six inches.

Meaning the person has to move at approximately 90 miles an hour. Horizontally. From rest. In less than a millisecond. I hope she has required secondary powers because her shit's about to be ruined.

Also...

Harmless Freezing.

Okay, fine, but that doesn't change the fact that you just shot the dude. Isn't much anything harmless 'bout that...

Isn't there also the factor of how fast the shooter can pull the trigger?

Help?.. please...

[up][up] Damn it, didn't think that much through. DX

Then again, she did survive getting a punch that breaks concrete walls on the stomach (guess by who) with relative ease, so would it work?

I didn't take into account reaction time so I think it measures out.

Kids, don't try dodging bullets in real life. It doesn't work.

Well, of course, this is fiction. Hell, by the sound of it it's magic. You don't have to explain shit.
