Middle Earth:Shadow of Mordor
- Always use counter when surrounded by a bunch of Orcs.
- If you get killed, the Orc who killed you will get stronger.
- Try to upgrade your abilities as much as possible.
- Try to be as stealthy as possible. It makes things easier.
- Stand back when firing, if you have Bob's Brain.
- Bombing skulls will occasionally spawn a Host.
- If you find a room with a giant die-shaped tile in the middle, congrats! Step on it to reroll every item on the floor.
- Do not save your Q item for emergencies if you don't even know what it does in the first place.
There's actually six possible effects for dice rooms.
- 1 pip - Rerolls Isaac's currently held collectibles.
- 2 pips - Rerolls all Pickups in the room itself.
- 3 pips - Rerolls all Pickups and Trinkets for the entire floor.
- 4 pips - Rerolls any item pedestals on the floor.
- 5 pips - Rerolls and restarts the current floor.
- 6 pips - Combines the effects of the 1, 3, and 4-pip rooms. (Rerolls all held items, pickups, trinkets, and pedestal items.)
Oh, nifty. Doubt I would've figured that one out myself, thanks!
- This game has fall damage that can range anywhere from "paltry" to "fuck."
- LISA operates on a 2D plane, but it's still sort-of tile based with its movement. Try not to accidentally walk off a cliff because you thought you could toe-hang like it's Mega Man.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaTNA Impact!: The game does not appear to feature playable Knockouts.
@Malco I'm very thankful that one of my friends traded me their egg cuz they weren't planning to use it; so, crisis averted.
- Despite ERA, the M60A3's protection shows its age. While your hull and turret may not be as vulnerable to HEAT as the Leopard 1A5, everyone will be lobbing AP at you anyway.
- Tents are a nice, safe place to spend the night. Campfires are absolutely not.
- That said, just because inside a tent is safe doesn't mean right outside of a tent is safe...
- Snakes are mean.
- Any of the... well, whatever they are, they all deal massive damage whenever they attack. Be prepared to heal a lot and come packing Perfume.
- Just because the bike lets you fall from higher heights without taking damage doesn't mean you're immune to fall damage.
nVidia GeForce Experience:
- Until they figure out how to unfuck the base software, just use other screen/highlight recorders.
- At handling centric settings braking is still necessary at red corners.
- Racing is a mentally draining activity. This is a racing game. The math is clear.
- Don't underestimate your opponent just because the car is an AT machine.
nVidia GeForce Experience
- The default recording setting has the microphone locked on. If your headset has its mic turned off, then they will use the laptop's internal mic. Enjoy the poor quality background noise overlaid!
Demon'sSouls
- Played all the other games and decided to go back to the classics? Be ready for a lot of strange things.
- You can't jump, period. No plunging attacks either.
- If you thought poise was underwhelming in 3, it straight up doesn't exist in this game. Go fastroll or go for broke.
- Your healing's limited. Unlike Bloodborne, it's not a common drop until near the end of the game.
- Boss cutscenes repeat every time you enter them, unlike the rest of the series where they only played at the first fight. Get your bearings straight here.
- Magic doesn't have "charges", and can be used as long as you have magic. Magic's also at its alltime best in the series here, bordering on OP.
- Intelligence is Attunement, Magic is Intelligence.
- Flamelurker sucks, Maneater sucks, Armored Spider sucks.
- Rescue Biorr in Boletarian Castle-2, you need a key ring from 1-2. Believe me, he's a good ally (he's very similar to Siegmeyer and Siegward, in terms of personality and story)
- Don't ever be human form, especially if offline. The more you die as a human, the more fucked your world tendency gets, which causes enemies to grow stronger, spawns red phantoms, and even locks you out of any quests that need pure white tendency. Tendency can only be increased by killing black phantoms, or bosses, so you're very limited if you're offline. So after a boss, just go back to the Nexus, spend your souls and throw yourself off a cliff.
- 3-2 has an NPC named Yurt. He's actually a really good merchant, even with the Lautrec similarities.
Stellaris: If you're going to resettle your (non-enslaved) citizens, don't allow Migration!
Demon'sSouls
- Valley of Defilement sucks.
- It's also scaled for early game so get the goodies there first
- Don't go into the aborted baby swamp in the Astrea boss room
Let It Die:
- Jin DIE's version on the 16th floor has an ultra attack that can essentially one-hit kill you, even if you ate the lifesavershroom. If you see her begin to glow with a red aura, that means she's about to use it on you, SO GET OUT OF HER LINE OF SIGHT ASAP.
- There is an easy way to cheese that fight, fortunately - it just took me several deaths to discover it. It doesn't require too much in the way of resources, either. First, you need to have the steam irons equipped and hopefully maxed out to lvl 20, and upgraded as much as possible. Next, once the battle starts, immediately run to the left side of the platform you're on. If you're lucky, Jin DIE will teleport directly next to you; use that opportunity to get in as much damage as possible with the irons, those suckers will absolutely tear through her HP. She'll obviously teleport away after taking enough damage - and while she's doing that, you need to immediately jump to the platform with the small trailer and hide behind it - that's one of the few places in the boss area where she can't hit you from any angle. Just wait there until she teleports on top of it and blast her again with the steam irons. She'll go down quick if done right.
- Whenever you return to the Waiting Room with more than one blueprint, make sure to bring them to the shop vendor individually. Apparently the items aren't determined by what floor they were on, but rather a random "roll" upon being turned in. It makes it far less likely for you to run into duplicate blueprints this way.
- Think CAREFULLY when using the DOD green metals to upgrade your equipment. They're extremely rare drops, and there doesn't seem to be a particular floor which favors their spawning.
7th Dragon III Code: VFD
- Just because you could easily kill the dragons in area 1, doesn't mean you should immediately charge down the dragons in area 2 (this is the only areas it applies to, the rest of the game seems to have a pretty even difficulty climb)
- They don't get the name True Dragon by being a smidge more powerful than the surrounding dragons.
- When the game is warning you about Instant Death attacks, you need to stock up on death guards (ie: equip main party members with two each)
- If you use Exhaust Comet Spear, then you get a faster launch (almost guaranteeing you dodge attacks that turn) but you also get a faster landing, meaning you'll definitely take hits next turn.
- Dual Blades are better than Katana most of the time. Cyclone Dance is specialized for taking down Dragonsbane Seeds, and there's nothing Katana has that could match that (bosses, on the other hand...)
- Ichor will only revive party members that were alive at the start of the turn.
- Upgrades change over time: the first upgrade for Jab is just a damage increase, but later stages will increase the G received.
- There's no dedicated healing class, just classes with healing skills. All of said classes are missing out on a specific skill that prevents them from being 'true' healers, so make up that lost ground with items.
- Jump Shot triggers before the Troy.exe attack can go off.
- When a Duelist's deck is full, they discard the oldest card they have (furthest left) when drawing a new one. Keep that in mind when planning for a full fire loadout for massive Ex Burn shenanigans.
Let It Die:
- The Haters that begin to spawn once you reach the 25th floor and beyond are seriously dangerous, and will likely insta-combo you to death. Avoid them if possible, ambush them if not, but never take them on directly, it's a death sentence until you manage to get a better fighter and gear.
- If you have a Brainshroom, SAVE IT FOR THOSE HIGH-LEVEL HATERS. All you need to do is just hit them with it while they're unaware, and you'll immediately put them into the 'groggy' state. Afterward, just run up to them and finish them off with a Goretastic special, which doesn't waste any endurance off of your weapons or your Rage meter.
- NEVER kidnap fighters while raiding in the Tokyo Death Metro, the rewards are far from worth the hassle it'll bring. Doing so puts you on a unique "rescue" list that's guaranteed to attract attention like crazy. Furthermore, it takes at least 48 hours to fully reset a fighter to add them to your collection. Seriously, it won't even take 10 minutes before you get raided in retaliation!
- After awhile, the 1st floor (Ikegara) becomes a bad place to grind your new characters. This is because the online community figured out that the fighters passing through there would be weak and under-equipped, meaning you're going to see some OBSCENELY over-powered Haters waiting for you behind that pair of yellow portable generators. Instead, start farming from Wanoki and beyond, and turn around the moment you see that dreaded tunnel section.
- This also applies to the 11th floor, but apparently not as often.
- Much like Dark Souls 3, the Pv P meta is mostly focused around hard, fast-hitting weapons. This means anything slow like the Pickaxe, battle axe, spear, etc are essentially making your fighters sitting ducks (mostly due to crappy AI timing).

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate:
- Unlike in many previous games in the series, in this one the first Elder Dragon must be killed, there's no option to merely repel it. So either hone your skills and learn to suffer, or halt your playthrough in the game. It will only worsen from there.
- Get used to fighting infected monsters. Because the Fenzy Virus will at one point in the game become a pandemic.
ARMA III Apex:
- If Viper show up, and you kill one of them, grab his helmet and wear that fucker like it's your new best friend. It's got a combined NVG/Thermal IR set in its visor. And if you're in the jungle in the daytime it may be the only thing that lets you see the enemy (non-Viper) before they shoot you, thanks to their IR signature showing up. Otherwise the guy you don't see will be four feet away from you and will shoot the utter crap out of you.

Youtube wisdom:
1) DO NOT PRE-ORDER ANYTHING
2) Always read two reviews of the game you're interested in.
3) Always wait at least a year until all the DL Cs are stacked in one major package. Or the DL Cs will cost you 3 or 4 times the price of the game.
4) Always pirate.
I quoted the last one for accuracy.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!A very subjective one, but...
Tekken (in particular, Tekken 5): This game is really. freaking. hard. To the point that I'm not even having fun with it.
Pokemon Bank/Poke Transfer from Pokemon Blue
- Mew from the glitch cannot be transferred, since it's read as illegitimate. Aww... it was a team member, too.
- Every Pokemon you transfer get thier Hidden Abilities. Guess I found a new Flame Body pokemon in Kanto Moltres. I was gonna use mine from the Gen 6 event, but OKAY THEN.
Pokemon:
- Make sure that you look at the right generation when finding egg moves so you don't rage when your Piplup only knows Pound and Agility instead of Icy Wind, Pound, and Agility.
Bloodborne;
Amygdala is bullshit.
Cursed Chalices are beyond bullshit.
Put the former into the latter TO GO! EVEN FURTHER! BEYOND! (HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!)
