Having Rudy Tabootie creating weapons out of magic chalk isn't too out of the ball park when you think about it.
Indeed. Nearly of Cartoon Network's original series are oriented either towards action or zany or surreal comedy. In contrast, a fair number of Nicktoons are more reserved and subtle, if they aren't downright slice of life shows.

I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...I could see Ren and Stimpy acting as a pair, not unlike Ice Climbers, or Billy/Mandy and Mac/Bloo from Punch Time Explosion. I recall them acting in such a manner in that Stimpy's Invention game. For instance, Ren squeezing Stimpson to expel a hairball, or Stimpy using Ren as an impromptu boomerang.

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefI had ideas for a Nick Crossover game that played more like Marvel Vs Capcom 3. I even thought "Nickelodeon Vs Capcom", but we all know that won't happen.
Who wants to hear my ideas?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI do. I dont know much about marvel vs capcom and whatever but still, I find any kind of crossovers interesting.
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death itself may die."Okay, but firstly, there's a few things I have to make clear. I will not suggest characters who appear on the Nicktoons channel who aren't actually Nicktoons (Dragon Ball GT, Iron Man Armored Adventures), or who are made by them but aren't their property (The Penguins Of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda Legends Of Awesomeness).
I will suggest my ideas one series per post, so be sure to give feedback after each one! Also the characters should have Hyper Combos, like in Marvel Vs Capcom. And also my responses may be delayed. So let's go!
Sponge Bob Square Pants Characters: SpongeBob is the most iconic Nicktoon and the face of Nickelodeon, so its obvious his franchise should be in it. The show was good in its time, too bad the show now suffers from Seasonal Rot.
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Despite what someone said before, I don't think SpongeBob should rely entirely on KAR-AH-TAY (I'll explain a bit later), but it should be used for some of his moves. He should also have moves that involve bubbles and jellyfishing.
- Hyper Combo 1: Bubble Torpedo - SpongeBob blows a bubble in the shape of a torpedo and launches it across the screen.
- Hyper Combo 2: ??? (Don't know)
- Hyper Combo 3: Goofy Goober Rock - SpongeBob transforms into a rock wizard and shoots laser beams from his guitar. Just like in the movie!
- Patrick Star: I originally wasn't going to have Patrick, but I thought of how he could work. Besides being Acrofatic and relying on his weight, his Hyper Combos would all be based on SpongeBob memes.
- Hyper Combo 1: CHOCOLATE!!! - Throws a chocolate bar at the opponent, causing Tom the Chocolate Fish to run across the screen (screaming "CHOCOLATE!!!!"), damaging the opponent if he collides with them. A reference to the CHOCOLATE! meme.
- Hyper Combo 2: "Let's take the town, and push it somewhere else!" - A bunch of Bikini Bottom-style buildings appear in front of Patrick. He says "Let's take the town, and push it somewhere else!" as he pushs the buildings across the screen, baraging the opponent until Patrick makes his way to the other side of the screen. A reference to the "We should take Bikini Bottom, and push it somewhere else!" meme.
- Hyper Combo 3: "MY NAME'S. NOT. RICK!" - Patrick puts on a name tag that reads "My name is PatRick". This move works as a Counter-Attack. If you attack him, the "Pat" will be removed from his name tag, changing it to "My name is Rick". Patrick will scream "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! MY NAME'S. NOT. RICK!!!", turns all muscular, and body slams the opponent. A reference to the MY NAME'S. NOT. RICK! meme.
- Sandy Cheeks: Now this is exactly why SpongeBob shouldn't sole'y rely on KAR-AH-TAY, because this is what Sandy's moveset consists of. She would be great with combos, and would be wearing her Kill Bill-esque suit from the episode "Karate Island" instead of her usual suit (sorry for referencing a Seasonal Rot episode).
- Hyper Combo 1: Great KAR-AH-TAY Chop - Does an epic karate chop (she also wears her karate gloves for this move).
- Hyper Combo 2: Great KAR-AH-TAY Kick - Sandy grabs the opponent with a lasso and pulls them towards her. When the opponent is close enough, she punchs them up into the air. While they are in the air, she proceeds to finish them off by jumping up and performing a powerful spin kick, sending them into the distance.
- Hyper Combo 3: ??? (Don't know)
- Plankton: I know, I know. "How on earth would he fight?", you ask. In a Mini-Mecha, that's how! The mecha's designed is based on the robot from the episode "Enemy in Law" (again, sorry for referencing a Seasonal Rot episode).
- Hyper Combo 1: Spinning Throw - Grabs the opponent, spins really fast, and throws the opponent.
- Hyper Combo 2: ??? (Don't know)
- Hyper Combo 3: ??? (Don't know)
Well thats it for SpongeBob SquarePants characters. Thoughts?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI love it (at least the concepts. As I said, I dont know much about fighters in general, so cant really speak for balance issues), I particulary love Patrick moves since he uses memes, lol.
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death itself may die."It's a shitty button masher, but I played the sequel anyway.
Fanboy is cheap, his brain Special reaches far too long .
And my god, Kitty's sprites are bad.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Nicktoons Unite was awesome. I remember playing it a lot with my former best friend-turned-stalker.
But, um, yeah, it was fun. The ones after that sucked, though.
Sponge Bob's second hyper should be his Smelly Breath.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DCan we rename the thread to "Nickelodeon Fighting Game"? Because Nick Super Brawl is a cheap button-masher that won't even support this thread for more than three pages, while dicussing the possibilities of a proper game would be much greater. Heck, my suggestion for how the Sponge Bob Square Pants characters would play was the highlight of this thread!
By the way, what did the rest of you guys think of my ideas?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMWell it looks like this thread is dead, but then again, that was to be expected.
Nevermind, I've just gone and made a thread for the discussion of a possible (and quality) Nick fighting game! Feel free to join in!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMWell, it appears they've made a few sequels. Since I don't have to time, can someone to me the full roster to get an idea of dos and don'ts for my Crossover Mascot Fighter ideas?
Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.Well here's the roster of the second game, which includes everyone from the first one plus more:
And they just released a third one which has a significantly different roster◊.

Let's up it to five.
Danny Phantom, Dudley Puppy, and Jenny have been known to partake in physical combat. Not to mention Spongebob and his KAR-AH-TAY moves.
Timmy Turner calls on Cosmo and Wanda (and Poof) to grant wishes that make him stronger than his foes (there's also his Crimson Chin sidekick persona). Jimmy Neutron and Zim have a multitude of gadgets that were useful in taking down various intergalactic threats (not to mention Goddard and GIR, respectively).
...that boosts the number up to seven. Now for characters like CatDog, Ren, Stimpy, and Rocko... that would require some creativity.

Eh.
