I'm only about four minutes in, but it's an interesting listen.

After four months of constant problems, I was finally able to upload something for once.

simple asJust dropped an hour-long piano ambient piece inspired by William Basinski, in anticipation of another album which has been in mastering hell for the past few months.

Will check that out later.
Dropped two newly revamped songs a little while back. Voici, et voilĂ .
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception. So it's come to this: I've now done a cover.
simple asHey everyone. OK well I've not been here for a while but. I want to make a tribute album. But the problem is that the band is in South Korea and I don't know how to ask for a synch licence. Bursaries I can't read hangul and my conversational Korean consists of food and drink and how people are and what their name is. Is copyright law even the same??? I assume no.
But I want to make covers of their album, but in English and it won't be a translation so I guess it's a parody, especially since I'm being totally silly with the rhyming and poking fun at thier videos.
If anyone can help me out, I'd much appreciate it.
I made a noisy, breakbeat-ish song with Silent Night, Deadly Night samples in it. I might mess around with the structure, and the voice clips might not stay either. Anyway, the idea I have now is to make one album of fast, noisy tracks like this and another one of minimal ambient pieces and put both out around the same time, preferably by January. Right now I want to call the former Noisy Exploding Brain note and the latter The Jack Shetland Album note .

"Air in the Hourglass", the first piece I've written that was good enough to name and, hence, to share. I can't quite play it yet, but I'll have it down soon enough.

Oh yeah, I just put this out, and it's on an actual label this time.
This is probably going on the "ambient" album I mentioned. The title came from a picture someone posted on a facebook group for misspelled or just weird signs - It was a sign posted by a lake's shore, so I guess "no wake entire lake" means something like "don't go into this lake with your boat and cause a big wake", but I just like how it rhymes and sort of sounds poetic outside of that context.
Cover I did of David Bowie's "Janine", the first song from Side 2 off the Space Oddity album. Meant to record this and post it like a week or so ago, but mfmmfkjnwfwnf
Anyway, lemme know what you think:
I dunno how many hip hop fans are on here, but I got an easy listening instrumental album for ya'll to enjoy. Might be some familiar samples you'll reconsider, some ya might not. Either way, I hope ya'll like it.
New Jack Swing musician and Afro Thunder fan from Canada who makes decent edits once in a while.I don't know if you've heard of it, but there's thing called The RPM Challenge, which is sort of like Na No Wri Mo but for music - the goal is to complete a whole album in February. I've done this several times, and now I'm trying to put my own twist on it by producing one song a day all month. All of these tracks are going to be between 30 seconds and two minutes in length. They also will be titled in a "date song was completed + holiday/observance occurring somewhere in the world on that date" format inspired by the idiosyncratic song naming used on Suspended Animation by Fantomas. This was yesterday's, and this is today's.
I did it. I finally uploaded something to Soundcloud. I can't believe it.
It has three LIKES. I can't believe it. I was sure I'd get none.
Because, yknow. I suck at singing.
