There hasn't been a lot of information about the game for a while.
Also, it's the first thing you notice about the New Lara. It's a pretty striking change to see a Pettanko rather than someone with the MostCommonSuperpower.

She still has a bust dude. Its just not double D anymore. You're exaggerating.
There is no exaggeration; she has literally no bust. Eidos' even went for Pettanko instead of realistically busty. That's a lot of conviction to the whole DarkerandEdgier realistic thing that they want to achieve.

Excuse me, but I would say this◊ is at least a B cup. I mean, I'm not very good at eye-balling these things, but there is a noticeable bust. Its just not huge like before.
I swear I saw images of her completely flat chested, but I can't (and won't) argue against that pictorial proof. You're right that she's not a Pettanko, however she's still got a pretty small chest.

Dude, Lara's still got pretty normal-sized boobs there. I'm thinking your perception of chest size got skewed somewhere.

i. hear. a. sound.Guys, she's not a locomotive. She doesn't need a pair of humongous bumpers to shield her from anything that gets in her way. If she was, she'd wear a cow-catcher as well.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisIt would be kind of awesome if she had (and used) a wedge plow attached to her front, though... granted, this could be the lack of sleep talking through my fingers.
i. hear. a. sound.They're pretty small, not normal-sized.
That was the original plan for the next Tomb Raider game. <_<
Dude. Her boobs are normal sized. Hell, she's even showing off some cleavage that she used to cover up. Stop complaining.
This is what video games have caused: No one has any scale of breasts anymore.
Truly a sad day for human history.
It's not like porn helped either.
What do you get if you burn tomatoes? Ash Ketchump.I'm not complaining; I just think its interesting that her character model has changed from one extreme (busty) to the other (pretty small).

The distorted view of female beauty is being perpetuated just about everywhere, and just about everyone is to blame. So blaming video games, porn and pornographic video games is inaccurate. They've made a bunch of movies about it. Although i'm rather surprised that Killing Us Softly doesn't even have a wikipedia page...
Oh, and if anyone complains about this thread talking about boobs too much, keep in mind that Lara Croft was basically video games's first sex symbol. That a pretty huge deal.
Anyways, we have any actual new information? My roommate claims that there's images of Lara Croft shooting velociraptors with her signature two guns. I want to see this.
Well Shirow raises a good point, so I'll say how amusing it is how much everyone is discussing her rack.

Her boobs really aren't 'small' or 'pretty small'. 'Small' and 'pretty small' don't make that kind of cleavage. They're actually average to above average in size. I wish I was better at eyeballing this sort of thing so I could give you a definite bust size, but I can't. They're just not small, though.
Boobjudge has arrived. To judge video game boobs accurately.
Since I work in a relative department I can tell by looking.
They are B cupped.
Good day.
Troper PageO__O
ok...
so average then...
They're still pretty small, in my opinion.
Side note: When there's a lack of information about a game... discuss boobs!

Not small. Not pretty small. Average.
According to the internet, nearly fifty percent of American women have B cups, making it the norm.
Any larger is big.
Any smaller is small.
B cup is average.
So they're average.
Thank you. Discussion on this topic can now end.
Anyway, since we know Lara won't be swinging around her magnetic grapple and her twin pistols and instead will be using tools she finds, what do you think we'll see be used, and how?

When it comes to Improvised Weapon i can see her using a stone axe or something, not a club. We've seen the bow, but do we know what she uses for arrows?
Also, i really hope the platforming in this doesn't follow Uncharted's cues. It's so damn... Automated.
Allow a newbie to butt his head into this and say that it looks good so far. I'm all for stories of how badass action girls are made from Determinator action survivors.
I'm a newbie to the series, really. Only game I've played out of the series is Guardian of Light (because Prince Of Persia gave me cravings for action puzzle solvers, but I digress), and I only recently started that game. It's not bad; I wanted more Le Parkour, but I suppose I should have bought an Assassin's Creed game instead if that's what I wanted. I think the one good thing about being a new initiate to the series is that I've no preconceptions about Lara as a character (aside from her sex symbol status—that's just too mainstream to not notice), and can approach her portrayal with a clean slate. Maybe the reboot is meant to attract new fans to the series.
One thing that will bug me in the final product would be if they keep portraying her as being constantly pursued/hounded—by enemies, by nature, what have you—up until the end. The key element of a game like this would be to allow the character to develop enough skills to turn the table on her situation—like becoming capable of stalking her enemies instead of being stalked—and assert a measure of control. Sure, she'd still have no power over things like cave-ins and the like, but learning to deal with things like that with a level head despite the adrenaline would be enough for her to assert some control over her own situation. Ideally, Lara's characterization would reflect such developments—start out sounding like a scared girl, end the story as a woman of action who won't let the things going on around her shatter her wits no matter how bad of a rut she's in; I think watching this kind of character development taking place right before the player's eyes would be immensely satisfying, and make Lara easier to relate to.
Lastly, as for her sex appeal, I think her new portrayal will not diminish it one bit; if anything, she's more attractive now, but that might just be my thing for Determinator women. She's easy on the eyes on top of being strong-spirited, and that's grade-A Fetish Fuel in my book, bust size be damned.
Sorry for the wall of text.
Theres something really wrong when the majority of the conversation is "HER BOOBS CHANGED"
