I dunno. I'm still relatively cautious about how this show will turn out. Based on the trailers and interviews, it kind of seems like the show might have too much going for it (Bugs and Daffy in an urban setting, bringing back Lola and creating a girlfriend for Daffy, awkwardly animated CG Wile E Coyote), I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Well, can't be worse than any of the previous incarnations I guess.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.^First of all, apparently, Melissa Duck existed in the old Looney Tunes shorts.
Please! If Bugs Bunny actually tunneled everywhere, he would never get to where he's going because he'd always forget to "take that left turn at Albuquerque."

https://www.fanfiction.net/u/548347/I'm personally looking forward to this show. Bugs looks very Off-Model, but the idea of putting these guys in a half-hour sitcom format is fascinating.
I hope there's plenty of Marvin.
"Religion isn't the cause of wars, it's the excuse." —Mycroft Next^^Yes, but she wasn't a prominent character, really only appearing in Daffy's fantasies. Also, there's no clear evidence to show that that pink haired duck-tress is Melissa, yet.
Bugs driving is unnecessary. I mean yes he has drove things in the past and I sort of get the idea because it's a "modern setting" but I just hope that this isn't his primary transportation. He should still retain his orig. rabbit-like qualities, namely digging, living in a hole, and eating trademark carrots.
Now, if it had been DAFFY driving, then that would be so so so much more hilarious. A insane Drives Like Crazy piloted by a Captain Crash would be so entertaining to watch- I hope they have it in the show.

I'd watch the show just for that moment!
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Ok if they're going to have this show, then I'm praying that they get a good composer and offer a lot of renditions of the old Looney Tunes tunes for the show. Specifically, the theme song should be some sort of cover of the classic intros Merrily We Roll Along, The Merry Go Round Broke Down, and Raymond Scott's iconic Powerhouse should pop up several bombastic portions of the show- like the Animaniacs.
As long as they have that, then I'm instantly sold on the show.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.I'd be shocked if the theme tune wasn't a rearrangement of "Merry Go Round Broke Down."
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. It's equally as good on a player piano too! [[youtube:n73lXCzJUZ4&p=63E8E22E85B1DA9A&playnext=1&index=36]]
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Does anyone find it weird that it's been like several months since it's first talk on Comic Con and still no news about this show? I guess they're really keeping it secret.
On another note, what do you think the chances are that they might incorporate some Tiny Toon Adventures or Animaniacs nods in the show? I thought it'd be pretty unrealistic, but hey Duck Dodgers did one right?
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Especially odd, given that it's supposed to be premiering this month (during Thanksgiving Break, so I'll finally be able to watch something I want to watch on a tv instead of a computer screen for once! All reet!).
Also, I just found out Jeff Bennett is playing Foggy, Gossamer has a voice, and PETE PUMA IS BACK!!!! Hopefully as a semi-regular.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Me too, I'm also especially surprised and glad that June Foray will be returning to voice Granny and Jeff Bergman will be returning for Bugs and Daffy, which he hasn't done for almost 20 years.
I wonder when they're going to start releasing new character charts- I want to see MJ frog's design.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction. As for the musical scores, I'm hoping for something better than Tom And Jerry Tales had. The BGM ended up being a pretty big drawback to the series.
My tropes launched: https://surenity2.blogspot.com/2021/02/my-tropes-on-tv-tropes.html^^ He was the Bugs voice in... Night Of The Living Hare, right? The one with all the fake versions of the cast? And Daffy Duck's Quackbusters?
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Attention, people making this series: bring back Cool Cat and Merlin the Magic Mouse. Those guys are dynamite, no pun intended.
Thank you.
"Religion isn't the cause of wars, it's the excuse." —Mycroft NextEeeeeyoooo, Bugs DOES look kinda awkward. Let's hope that the writing isn't...
(wo)Man of a thousand voices... In her head.EDIT: Apparently, if this Cartoon Brew article is to be believed, this was the product of Executive Meddling. It was previously in development as a more Animaniacs-esque deal, with a great crew of animation veterans (like Jim Smith from the Tiny Toons and Ren And Stimpy) on board. Unfortunately, the whole production was cancelled when the execs didn't like the character designs(something that could have been changed easily), and restarted from the ground up. It probably would have been a lot better.

Seriously, why all the "O NOES, IT'S GOING TO SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!" ?
The show's not even out yet, wait until it is.
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....(Crosses fingers) Original character models...original character models...

mudshark: I don't expect Nate to make sense, really. That's a good point actually. The character models we're all used to aren't even the original character models, they all pretty much come from the 1950's Chuck Jones shorts.
My tropes launched: https://surenity2.blogspot.com/2021/02/my-tropes-on-tv-tropes.htmlSo apparently this show will not be airing in November, but instead has been moved to February 2011.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Till next year? Well, that was suprising. If they are still tweaking it...They must be putting their effort into it then.
Edit: Hold the phone. This was going to be like Animanicas? Damnit it just goes to show that not even WB cares about cartoony animation anymore.

Can we please wait until the show actually comes out before decrying "it sucks, but oh it could have been good, they just didn't care."
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.
^ True, but I think the concept of him driving a car at all is hilariously absurd, especially if they show him also tunneling as well, just to drive in that he doesn't need to.
