Adorkable: Sonny really gets into this. Yeah, she's awkward and geeky, but it's part of her charm due to how lovably persistent she is.
Alternative Character Interpretation: Sonny as bisexual, with the chemistry and friendships with Tawni and one-off character Lucy. Being The Ditz, she's oblivious to this fact.
Crossover Ship: Sonny has been shipped with Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place, which is strange, as that show exists as a fictional show In-Universe, as Selena Gomez shows up and Sonny is revealed to be a fan of it. This is mainly due to shippers feeling that the two would have great chemistry and the real life friendship of their actress at the time of airing. There are a large number of fanfics for it on Fanfiction Dot Net, with most of these being full AUs where the Russo family just exists as real people and not as characters on a TV show.
Heartwarming in Hindsight: Implied but the fact that despite the animosity he and his castmates had towards So Random!, Chad joining the cast in the spin-off based on the sketch show possibly to honour Sonny's memory in the series.
Nico and Grady, bordering on Ambiguously Gay. For example, one episode had Grady and Sonny pretending to date whilst Nico and Tawni pulled a prank. Later when they meet up they both ask "Was she better then me?" That's right Nico was asking if Sonny was a better girlfriend then him.

The Eric episode had Tawni trying to kiss Eric-as-Sonny.
Iron Woobie: Acting as Those Two Guys (or is it as a Heterosexual Life-Partners?), this trope defines Nico and Grady. When working or hanging out together, there's nothing - physical or emotional - that can hold them down for very long.

Shipping: Channy (Chad/Sonny) are the One True Pairing by a huge margin. Next biggest is Tawni/Sonny. Occasionally other ships are teased, such as Sonny/Nico in the pilot (with no Chad), and Sonny/Grady in another.
