    The Animatronics
In-universe, Bon and Bannie used to be knock-offs of Bonnie.

In this continuity, Fazbear Entertainment is a mundane and possibly successful company. Bon's Burgers, meanwhile, was a tiny start-up that lasted only a couple of months. It's quite they deliberately tried to emulate him to try and capture similar success.

  • Jossed by Martin Walls, Bon's Burgers has no relation to Freddy's, and it was the older establishment so they couldn't rip him off that fast.

Bon isn't possessed.
Felix programmed Bon to tie up his loose ends. He had to get rid of the Waltens to keep them from reporting Edward & Molly missing, & also revealing that he was supposed to be with them when they disappeared. Then he had to get rid of Susan, as she would likely discover how Bon was tampered with during maintenance. We don't know how Charles fits into the story yet, but if he wasn't a Bon's employee or acquaintance of the Waltens, he might have been a witness to Felix leaving with the Walten siblings, possibly an employee of the school. Ashley had to be rubbed out after she found Felix's hit list, & Brian likely got killed because Bon asked him if he was Sophie, then killed him to prevent him from revealing Bon's intentions, which is how Brian found out he was a victim of mistaken identity.
  • If Sophie did witness her mother's murder by Bon, why didn't Bon kill her too if she was on the list? Because she froze in shock & terror at what she was seeing, we already know from the events surrounding Brian's death that Bon doesn't have the best facial recognition software, it's possible that her inaction led Bon to assume she was another animatronic.
  • Why does Bon go on about making things "beautiful"? Because if Felix just put a command in Bon to kill, that code could potentially be recovered if the police were able to dismantle the animatronic. He likely changed Bon's definition of beauty so he could claim Bon glitched if he got caught, since he already disposed of the animatronics' designer there wouldn't be anyone left who could challenge his claim.
    • It's also possible that Felix intentionally programmed Bon to mistake the people on his hit list for endoskeletons out of costume, which is what Bon means by making them "beautiful". In which case, that would mean Ashley was mistaken for Sophie, but Bon didn't suit up Brian because he either ran out of suits or realized too late Brian wasn't his target.
  • Jossed, Bon has been confirmed to be possessed by a spirit. However, it's still possible he was programmed to kill people before getting possessed.

Jack intentionally designed Sha after Rosemary
This is especially most obvious in their hairstyles.

Felix named Boozoo after his favorite liquids
Mr. Kranken has been hitting the sauce for a good long while now. Company tapes claim him to have a giant brain and a giant heart, but what he should be worried about is his liver. During the design phase for the animatronics, the animals were possibly easy enough to name, but what of the human ringleader? They needed a name that would excite, and inspire wonder, in the audience. Something magical, to go with the magician aesthetic. "Well, Felix," says someone at Bunny Smiles, maybe even Jack Walten, "what do you think is wonderful and magical? What makes you excited?" Even by that point, the first answer Fuck-me-up Felix could come up with was "Booze!" One added last syllable later, the ringmaster Boozoo had his name.

Banny is based on a (currently unknown) female coworker who was mistreated by/didn't get along with Jack
(Yes, this is just a rehash of the jossed "Jack's sister" WMG in another folder below, minus the sister part.)

It's unlikely that this coworker is Susan, as there doesn't seem to be any animosity between her and Jack from the way she talks about him in "BunnyFarm", not to mention (aside from both being lesbians) Banny and Susan don't seem to have much in common, unlike Sha and Rosemary who have similar hairstyles and personalities.

Assuming Bon is also based on Jack, he and Banny may have been designed to be the same species because they're related in some other way (e.g. cousins) and/or because she was involved in the founding of Bunny Smiles Inc. (and has seemingly gotten the Un-person treatment for whatever reason, be it Jack's hatred towards her or something else) or at least was one of the earliest members of BSI. Her name may even be the one on the censored folder in "Relocate Project".

She could've still been the one to design the characters, again based on how Bon is written as a sarcastic asshole and how the person that character!Banny is based on being the creator of the characters would parallel animatronic!Banny being possessed by the creator of the animatronics (Susan).Since some of the Bon's Burgers-related media seem to be somewhat biased towards Banny (Banny being the only one to remember about the Fruit Festival in BunnyFarm, the group finding the treasure thanks to Banny's map in the Bon plush ad), the coworker may have worked on those too.

She may or may not be:

  1. Sarah Evelyn, the writer of the "Little Bon's Neighborhood" cartoon, though she could just be a Sunlight Animation employee instead.
  2. Starla, one of the people who played BunnyFarm.
  3. Lily, whose name is mentioned in Boozoo's BunnyFarm level, though she could just be an in-game character (e.g. Johnny the Hippo's daughter).
  4. Alice, whose name is used as the title for the upcoming seventh episode.
  • Banny's forgetfulness (like her opening the pig cages after Holly told her not to) could potentially be Harsher in Hindsight if it turns out that the coworker has been taking memory-loss pills (like Sophie), presumably to erase her memories of being mistreated by Jack.
  • "CyberFun Tech" revealed that Rosemary was the one who designed the mascots, but if Bon is based on Jack then it's possible she wasn't responsible for writing their personalities (it would make even less sense for her to write Bon as an asshole considering how much she loves Jack) and the unknown coworker was the one in charge of that instead, or at least was the one who wrote Bon and Banny's hostile relationship. Bonus points if Rose had to ask the coworker to tone down Bon's rudeness because she wasn't comfortable with how the character she designed after her husband was being written (and for that matter the restaurant's main mascot should be more likable). Also, Lily has been ruled out as the coworker's name, since it was revealed that Lily's the name of Charles' daughter.

The unknown female coworker (from the WMG directly above) is possessing Bon
It's worth noting that the ghost that appears near the end of "Spectacle" has been confirmed by Bon's VA to be the spirit possessing Bon (referred to as "Bon" with quotation marks), and the ghost in question has a rather feminine appearance, and vaguely appears to have short curly hair—with bigger curls than Rosemary's hair—similar to Banny's. A white humanoid figure also appears at around 16:57 in "BunnyFarm" after Banny's cutscene; this may be another instance of the same ghost manifesting.

Since Derek Collins only mentions six missing reports (which would be Edd, Molly, Jack, Susan, Charles, and Rosemary) in "Spectacle", the unknown coworker's death likely would've had to happen after those missing cases. Presumably Bon was already programmed to kill people by someone, but a spirit possessing the animatronic may have made it even more bloodthirsty than before. Alternatively, the coworker did die before any of the aforementioned six people, and somehow Felix and/or someone else managed to cover it up (e.g. possibly because the coworker didn't have any family members who looked for her), in which case Bon may not have been programmed to kill after all and the coworker's ghost was the one responsible for Bon's murders after being driven insane.

There are a number of ways she could've ended up possessing Bon, but one possible scenario is that the coworker was killed by another character (possibly either Felix, Chris or Jack), whether deliberately or accidentally, and her killer stuffed her body into Bon. If this happened after the other six disappearances, and the coworker herself was the one who programmed Bon to kill people (as a way to make Jack suffer by killing his loved ones; perhaps there was some incident between the coworker and Jack that made her snap), this would be a case of Laser-Guided Karma especially with how she presumably hates Bon and the person he's based on (Jack).

While "Bon" (the spirit) has so far only been referred to with he/him pronouns (example), this may simply be because Bon the mascot is male (sort of like Cassidy/Golden Freddycontext ) and/or to throw people off since Bon being possessed by a woman in and of itself could be a huge spoiler (as opposed to just letting people assume he's possessed by a man, since Jack and Felix are already popular candidates for the ghost's identity).

  • Possibly jossed since "Bon" speaks in a masculine voice in "CyberFun Tech", however there's still a chance it's not their true human voice and they were speaking in Bon the animatronic's voice instead (especially since they share the same VA). At least we also now know that "Bon" died/possessed Bon before Susan's death. Considering "Bon" has a comparatively clearer appearance (such as a visible hairstyle) in "Spectacle"—which takes place well after Susan's death—maybe they look more ambiguous/fucked up in "CyberFun Tech" because they couldn't fully remember their past self at that time (like how Charles couldn't remember his face), and more detailed in "Spectacle" because they've been slowly regaining their lost memories somehow.
  • EVA (Bon's VA) has stated that Martin apparently lied (?) about the "Spectacle" ghost being "Bon", but the rest of this WMG (minus any details jossed by "CyberFun Tech") still stands; then again it might be a case of Exact Words and "Bon" and their true self are counted as different identities.

There's a connection between the unknown female coworker (from the WMGs above) and "Bon", but they aren't the same person
For example, "Bon" could be the coworker's family member (like her brother or father) who's taking their anger out against Jack for mistreating the coworker by deliberately targeting Jack's family and friends. Now whether the coworker herself has a hand in "Bon's" revenge plan is another matter.

If the coworker was really involved in designing the mascots (along with Rosemary) and/or writing their personalities, "Bon" stuffing their victims into animatronics could be because "Bon" knows how special the mascots are to the coworker.

Based on this WMG it's still possible for the ghost at the end of "Spectacle" to be the coworker (not only do they look feminine and have Banny-like hair, but they're also pure white like "Bon" which might imply a connection), which would mean the coworker died at some point somehow, and her death may or may not have been what pushed "Bon" to start killing people.

Bon wants to stuff Sophie in a Showbear animatronic
Assuming no one has been stuffed in him already.
  • Jossed, Showbear is no longer canon.

A ghost possessing an animatronic can't override its programming, or at least has a hard time trying to do so
So the whole time Jack (assuming he's possessing Bon) was helplessly Forced to Watch as Bon followed his programming to kill everyone on the hit list, unable to be stopped. Currently all the animatronics are programmed to hunt down Sophie, but if the programming were to shut down somehow, the ghosts will be able to take full control of the bots, turn around and go after the Big Bad instead.

Brian will return as an "animatronic ghost" akin to Golden Freddy or the Shadow animatronics

Showbear is a manifestation of Edd
Hence their similar smiles (even wider than Jack's) and Showbear showing Edd and Molly's story when Sophie asks him "who are you?" Plus Showbear's behavior is similar to Cartoon Rocket in "Company Introductory Tape", with both encouraging Sophie to remember her past, and Cartoon Rocket calls his animatronic counterpart "that old doll" which is also what Edd calls it (ironically, he told Molly to "forget about that old doll" in their flashback, contrasting Cartoon Rocket telling Sophie that she finally started to remember it).

Though his soul is possessing Rocket along with Molly, Edd isn't as emotionally attached to him as she is, so he takes a different form whenever he communicates with Sophie on his own.

Since Showbear isn't canon anymore, the next time Edd tries to communicate with Sophie he'll appear as a new character.

  • It's already been theorized in some of the WMGs above that Bon, Sha, and Banny are based on Jack, Rosemary, and an unknown female coworker (presumably treated harshly by Jack) respectively. For the sake of the rest of this WMG, it will be assumed that said unknown coworker is the one who created the mascots.
  • Though there's not much known about Charles so far, Boozoo may very well be based on him since they look roughly similar and Charles did end up possessing Boozoo.
  • Holly the Horse is the character that's actually based on Susan, since they both share traits like long brown hair, lower pitched voices and... long faces. This would also imply that the unknown coworker had a crush on Susan.Presumably there's no Holly animatronic (or at least there wasn't one back in '74), so Susan was stuffed into Banny instead.
  • Since Billy is Banny's best friend and Bon is constantly forgetful of him, he's likely based on someone who is good friends with the unknown coworker and not very close with Jack; possibly Chris since he isn't on the hit list, and if he's really that unnamed employee from "Relocate Project" then he does have curly hair like Billy's and even the animatronic he's shown moving happens to be Billy. Billy's reversed "the boy went to college, filled with knowledge, but never with Walten" message could be referring to Chris, explaining why he wasn't close with Jack (and therefore was spared from being stuffed into Billy).
  • Pete the Hippo is based on Norman Pooltrick, as Pete helping the Showstoppers with the Fruit Festival parallels Cyberfun Tech helping Jack and Felix with Bon's Burgers. Likewise, his father Bobbie is based on Jason Pooltrick, and his brother Johnny and his kids may be based on Norman's yet to be mentioned brother, nephew, and niece.
  • "Rocket" as a mascot is based on Felix. The irony of Rocket getting possessed by Felix's victims aside, Jack and Felix's favorite colors are red and blue respectively (like the suits they wore), which match the colors of Bon and Rocket's bowties. Even Rocket being depicted with Dreary Half-Lidded Eyes more frequently than the others may have been loosely based on Felix often being drunk. Rocket was designed as a bunny because of Felix having a brotherly relationship with Jack and/or him being a co-founder of Bunny Smiles Inc. Though Rocket the mascot got scrapped from Bon's Burgers for the most part, only appearing in a few of the merch (which may not even be literal and just be Edd and Molly tampering with the footage), he was later made into a doll for Edd and Molly. Rocket being a scrapped character could parallel Felix and Jack's eventual falling out (as for Banny still being part of the main cast, even with Jack treating the unknown coworker harshly, at least he still kept her around for whatever reason).

Banny will bite someone
Not just as a Shout-Out to the Bite of '87 (and '83), but also because "the rabbit is starving".

Sha will bite someone
She is the only animatronic with sharp teeth, might as well use them.

The animatronics' murderous programming is corrupting the spirits possessing them
Judging from the "we'll soon be together, forever and ever" message, Edd and Molly seem to be some of the earliest to succumb to the programming (possibly due to them being kids), though if Edd is Showbear (and whoever ends up replacing Showbear) he could still be trying to fight back against the corruption.

Because of him being the first to be reprogrammed (as the others are implied to be reprogrammed much later), whoever's possessing Bon (likely Jack) has already succumbed to the programming long ago, which could be why they make little to no effort in reaching out to Sophie.

Sha is a wolf in sheep's clothing
Not really a metaphorical one, since she's been described as being very kind, but rather a literal one as she's almost always depicted with fangs.

There's a full sized "Rocket" animatronic
Possibly the animatronic hidden under a cloth and labeled "scrapped" seen in "Relocate Project". It may end up getting possessed by Felix or Sophie if either of them dies, or Edd and/or Molly could hop onto it after detaching from doll!Rocket.

The animatronics have springlock mechanisms

Billy was built after Susan's death
It's why he looks somewhat different from the other animatronics, because he wasn't built by Susan unlike the others.

Rocket has been programmed to distract the victim so it's easier for the bigger animatronics to kill them
Assuming he can't just kill people on his own.

Banny, Bon, and "Rocket" the characters were originally meant to be a trio of Nice Mean And In Between bunnies, respectively
As in whoever designed them at BSI intended them to be like that, not Martin Walls. Though there's not much known about "Rocket" the mascot's personality, if he was really based on Felix he could've fit the "In-Between" role pretty well.

In the cartoon/game universe, Boozoo and Billy are humans who have somehow been Isekai'd to a world of Funny Animals
Likely thanks to some kind of circus mishap.

Bon is possessed by more than one person
For example, he could be possessed by both "Bon" (the white figure/ghost) and Jack, with "Bon" being the actually malicious one and Jack being the one crying during Rosemary's and Brian's deaths.

    Jack Walten
Jack is trapped inside Bon
It's becoming increasingly likely Jack was the one stuffed into Bon. Jack was the first name on the Billy cassette tape of listed victims. The corpse inside Bon caused the animatronic to malfunction, leading to Susen being killed to keep Jacks death a secret. It's still not clear if Jack is controlling Bon, or if he has no control and the animatronic is carrying out a programmed hit list. The creepy dialogue about making people 'beautiful' might suggest Jack has gone insane and really is killing his family out of messed up love.
  • Going off the above, it should be considered that the list of names read out were a kill list. In the order that the people were supposed to be killed. Jack, Susan, Charles, Rosemary and Sophie. I personally believe that since Ashley went to the rooms without being ordered to, she fell into a trap that wasn't meant for her, instead meant for Sophie. Bon mistook Ashley for Sophie and stuffed her into a suit. And since he only learned that she wasn't Sophie later on, when he killed Brian he made an effort to double check to see if he had the right person.

Jack isn't trapped inside Bon.
Bon killed Jack along with the others on his hit list tape. Jack('s spirit) is in the tapes. After all, the entire series up to episode 3 has made it clear who is possessing which animatronic- all except for Bon. As far as we know, Jack is only missing.
  • If Bon truly is possessed by Jack, it doesn't explain a few of his actions. He stuffed his wife into Sha, but beat Brian to death, who he thought was Sophie at the time. The creator described Jack as a "family man", so it's odd that he would harm his family, especially given his phone call with Felix.
    • Confirmed as of CyberFun Tech.

Jack tried using black magic to bring back Edd and Molly, but it backfired
And not only did Jack's soul become trapped in Bon, but it turned him into a deranged killer who can trap other people's souls inside animatronics.

This may explain the more supernatural elements of the story.

Jack has a sister
Regardless of how good or bad she is or what kind of role she might end up playing in the story (if at all), Jack hated her (or at least didn't get along with her very well, if not straight-up hate) and treated her badly, paralleling Bon's hatred towards Banny; she could've possibly even been the only person Jack ever raised his voice at. Sophie might've even witnessed Jack treating his sister harshly at some point in the past, since she remembers he had a temper and is hesitant when she says "he loved us".

Though the actual Banny animatronic got possessed by Susan, if Jack indeed based Bon and Sha on himself and Rosemary respectively, then it would be more likely for him to have based Banny on his sister rather than an employee who isn't even related to him.

Bonus points if her name is Jackie/Jacqueline or something similar.

  • Apparently Bon and Banny aren't actually siblings, despite them being Spear/Distaff Counterparts of each other. But in-universe wise, Jack could've written the characters that way because he hated his sister so much that he didn't even want her to be his sister anymore. Or maybe Jack's sister was the one who designed the charactersand she didn't want him to be her brother anymore, which could also be why Bon is characterized as a "sarcastic asshole".
  • Jossed, Jack doesn't have any siblings.

Jack found out about Edd and Molly's deaths shortly before/after he got killed and stuffed into Bon
The scene in "BunnyFarm" with Bon covering his eyes and twitching as Edd and Molly's images flash by is actually supposed to represent Jack crying over what happened to his children.

Whoever they are, the Big Badfor whatever reason absolutely despises Jack and has been seething at him for quite some time. When Felix's car crash and the deaths of Edd and Molly happened, it was a perfect opportunity for the Big Bad to kick start their plan of revenge against Jack—either that, or a conflict with Jack at some point between May 2 and June 11 (likely intensified by Jack's stress over his missing kids) pushed the Big Bad to finally snap.

The Big Bad managed to listen to Felix's tape, went to where Edd and Molly were buried and retrieved Rocket, possibly even digging up the kids' bodies and stuffing them in the animatronic doll. After confirming that ghost possession is indeed possible, the Big Bad reprogrammed Bon into a murder machine and got him to kill Jack, but not before they made Jack find out what happened to Edd and Molly. The Big Bad stuffed Jack's body into Bon, ensuring that he'd possess the animatronic.

The rest of the hit list consists of people that Jack care about. Rosemary and Sophie are obviously his family. Susan and Charles are Jack's close friends. By programming Bon to hunt them down, the Big Bad is effectively forcing Jack to kill his own loved ones, as well as other innocent victims like Brian and Ashley, with "his" own hands. And considering how the date on the hit list tape is the same as Jack's 'last seen' date, the Big Bad might've even recorded it/played it for the first time in front of Jack/Bon, to let him know in advance that he will be forced to kill them.

"He is so sorry about what he did to them. But there's nothing he can do..."

On top of that the Big Bad is keeping Felix alive, not only so they can have a potential scapegoat to use, but also to rub in Jack's face that the killer of his two younger children is still walking free.

And now the Big Bad has programmed the other haunted animatronics to hunt Sophie down, forcing the rest of the victims to become murderous against their will too—all of this chaotic mess just to hurt one man.

Let me preface this by saying that this theory is entirely predicated on Jack possessing Bon. If he isn't, then this theory is dead on arrival.

That said, do you ever notice how much of a jerk Bon is in the animatics? He consistently bullies Banny, is snarky and rude to his employees, and constantly shows that money is his first and only priority. And worse, this treatment is not mutual: Sha, Boozoo, and Banny are always shown to be nothing but polite to their boss, even when he's actively antagonizing them or taking credit for their actions.

That begs the question: if the animations can be considered allegories for what happened to real people, what does that say about Jack's character? Maybe, in much the same way that Felix uses the VHS tapes to sing his praises, Jack hides his worst qualities behind the facade of a cheery mascot.

One last addition: Bon is the basis behind the two main villains of the holiday specials: Mortality and The Pumpkin Rabbit. Both characters are defined by acting nice and giving the main character hope, right before revealing their true colors and killing them. If that's any kind of statement on the real Bon (and by extension, the real Jack)...

  • Though Jack possessing Bon is a lot less likely after "CyberFun Tech", that doesn't mean this WMG is "dead on arrival" since Bon the mascot could've still been based on Jack in-universe (like how it's implied Sha was based on Rosemary for example).

"Bon" (as a human) was killed by Jack
With all the pent up rage he's had towards Felix after Edd and Molly's deaths, Jack could've lashed out against someone else and accidentally killed them, leading to Jack going into hiding (which would be rather ironic as it parallels what Felix has done after killing Edd and Molly) and his victim's ghost going on to possess Bon the animatronic. This could also explain why "Bon" seems to primarily target people close to Jack.
  • It was revealed in a Twitter space that Jack owns a gun and is a really good shooter. Considering how "Bon" appears to have a gunshot wound on their head, maybe Jack was the one who shot them in their head?

    Sophie Walten
The series will end with Sophie killing Felix Kranken.

After the events of Bunnyfarm, she'll confront him. He'll freak out and try to get rid of her, and she'll kill him, either in self defense or deliberately.

The series will end with Sophie being straight up murdered.
Sophie gets killed by Bon, all the animatronics, or somebody else not introduced
  • "THEY will come for you, Sophie"
  • "THEY will see you soon, Sophie"
    • Everyone else's name being read off Billy's list is dead. She's the last one there and the last alive, meaning she's next. Whether or not they will succeed is another question entirely, but they absolutely will be hunting her down during the series.

Sophie will be a night guard at some point in the series, or there will be security camera footage taken by a night guard
Before Martin Walls turned his game into VHS horror, it was a FNAF fan game. We haven't seen any security footage yet, but it's highly likely that he still has at least some of it left. If he still has it, it seems illogical to not use those assets. And what are FNAF and FNAF inspired projects most famous for?

The event that traumatized Sophie and made her take pills was witnessing her mother's dismembered corpse be stuffed inside of Sha
Sophie worked at the restaurant part time and waited for her mother to come pick her up. However, before leaving, Rosemary decided to have a look around the restaurant to see if she could find Jack while Sophie waited in the car. When she took too long, Sophie went to find her, only to see Bon stuffing her mother's remains inside of Sha. Sophie ran away before Bon could get to her.

Eight years later, Sophie is playing Bunnyfarm, and it's notable that of the original five Showstoppers, Sha is the most explicit about reaching Sophie.

Sophie was partly responsible for Rosemary's death.
Of all the animatronics that talk to Sophie, Sha seems out to scare Sophie. During the segment where Sophie was supposed to hide in the woods, Sha walks up to the screen to ask "Am I still beautiful to you, Sophie?" before cutting to a horrific image of Rosemary smiling at the camera. She ups the horror by then cutting to another scene where her face is shown ripped up over Sha's animatronic one whilst crying. It's true that while the other animatronics similarly show how they suffering inside of an animatronic, the fact that Sha's scaring her own daughter indicates that Sophie might not be innocent in the whole situation. It might also explain why Bon beat Brian to death instead of stuffing him into an animatronic, as Bon mistook Brian for Sophie.

Sophie was meant to be stuffed into Billy
She does say in "BunnyFarm" that she likes the clown the most, so maybe Billy was always her favorite even before she started taking her memory-loss pills, and "Bon" took that into account during their murders (but of course mistook Ashley for Sophie and stuffed the former into Billy instead).

    Felix Kranken
Felix is the Shadow Man
This is already a popular theory in the fandom, might as well list it here as a separate WMG.

Felix is not the Shadow Man
Exactly What It Says on the Tin

Felix is the reason Freddy Fazbear's is a normal franchise in this timeline.
Bunny Smiles Incorporated was circling the drain around the time Fredbear's Family Diner was open, let's say 1981 or 1982. Felix wanted to scope out the competition, but he was drunk, and while trying to sneak in the back door of the diner, he hit William Afton with his car, killing him. This prevented William from killing Charlotte and building his murder robot empire. Yay!

Felix Kranken killed Jack Walten by accident.
Martin Walls confirmed that Jack would beat Felix in a fight, and so far evidence is pointing to Felix being the type who runs from his problems. His automatic panic response to killing Edd and Molly was to bury them where they died and pretend the crash never happened. Jack has also been described as having a temper, and has already expressed a strong sense of protectiveness towards his children. It's not a stretch to think that Jack might have confronted Felix at the warehouse he ran off to for drinking, things escalated into a fight, some mishap with the equipment killed Jack, and Felix panicked and hid the body in the nearby woods. Then Jack's spirit pulled an Edd and Molly on the Bon animatronic, and the rest is history.

Not only is Felix not the true Big Bad of the story, the actual Big Bad intentionally spared him so that they can frame him in case they need to
This is also the real reason why Felix isn't on the hit list. The fact that Felix already has Edd and Molly's blood on his hands, combined with his history of alcoholism and general Jerkass tendencies would make it even easier for the true Big Bad to frame him.
  • Given the introduction of "Bon", this may be the case.

Felix will be the one to burn down K-9 (or wherever the animatronics end up by the series finale)
After a Heel Realization/Heel–Face Turn, Felix will pull a Henry Emily and burn down the building with all the animatronics in it, with himself staying in the fire along with them (believing he deserves to die after everything he's done).

Felix intentionally avoided playing BunnyFarm
After hearing about the "freaky glitches" from beta testers, Felix got terrified of the possibility of the victims' ghosts being the ones messing with the game, so he avoided playing it altogether because he didn't want to risk facing them.

Felix was killed sometime after 1979, or possibly earlier
Think about it, nobody has actually seen any video or audio recordings of Felix after the incident, and he's basically shown as an 'invisible figure' throughout the events of K-9 (despite him supposedly funding the entire Relocate Project) and the re-development of the Brand. Assuming he doesn't show up in person in another episode, what if he just disappeared sometime between 1974 and the early 80s?

The killings started because of Felix, but have since gone out of his control
Felix ended up killing Jack, either by accident during a conversation or simply because he couldn't face what happened to Ed and Molly, and, panicking, hid his body inside of Bon. This caused Bon's joints to act up, which Susan ended up noticing, and Felix used Bon to kill her so she wouldn't notice the "obstruction". Charles was killed for similar reasons, and because Rosemary refused to quit searching for her husband, Felix lured her into the back and had Bon kill her too.

Despite his efforts to muffle the sounds of her struggling, someone heard her screaming anyway and reported it to the police. The police never found any evidence of foul play, since Felix had hid his victims within the animatronics, but the heat scared Felix enough to shut down the restaurant and lock away the animatronics, ripping them open to take out and discreetly dispose of the bodies. Years later, Felix attempted to move on and forget about his crimes, but unfortunately for him, ghosts exist, and him opening up K9 allowed them to escape.

During the original coverup, Jack's spirit was aware, but had very little control over Bon at the time. Now that he's free, he is in full control but the killings drove him insane and he now wants to "reunite" with his daughter. If Felix is aware of what's going on, he's probably terrified that Jack will take revenge on him, or, worse, will want to 'thank' him for what he did.

Felix died in the car accident and is now walking around in his corpse
In Walten Files 4, we see the direct aftermath of the car crash. In the car, the entire back window is covered in blood while Felix is sitting in the front, eyes wide open like someone would see on a corpse. Immediately after this, he manages to dig three giant graves - one for himself, and two for the children. It would be challenging enough for someone sober to dig deep through the dirt, but given that he was both drunk and heavily injured (especially around the head), it seems unlikely that he would be able to do any of that, even on adrenaline. If Felix had died in the crash and possessed his own corpse, it would explain why he was able to any of this without tiring or passing out from the effort.

    Other Humans
Brian Stells will play a bigger role in the future, rather than just being a character who was killed for exopsition
He is the only character to have talked after he died, without being stuffed into a suit. He even somehow understands the reason behind why Bon killed him, and Martin Walls confirmed that he would have played a bigger role in Bunnyfarm if the data wipe on his computer hadn't happened. Meaning that Brian could have had an impact on the story beyond exposition. Plus, he's gained somewhat of an ensemble darkhorse despite only living for 4 minutes or so.
  • He has a song dedicated to a quote of his, and it's the credits theme for every video. Pretty significant?
  • If he wouldn't return then why would Martin Walls bother redesigning his carcass?

If Brian ever returns, he will either be an antagonist or have a Blue-and-Orange Morality
We know that Brian's death was slow and agonising, and that he only died after Bon had torn him apart. Going off that, I'm not entirely sure if 'I can't feel anything' is referring to his physical pain anymore. His injuries look very difficult to survive, but Susan Woodings lived through far worse mutilation without dying to blood loss or shock by some miracle. I have a theory as to how they were able to live.Since we know that this series takes place in the FNAF universe, we know that Remnant must exist too. You know, the shit that binds souls to inanimate objects and causes them to come to life? Since it turned a bunch of kids into killers, it must also have turned everyone else into killers too. I'm guessing that either Felix or Jack (more likely Jack) began conducting experiments with remnant, trying to bring Ed and Molly back to life. It made them narcissistic and amoral in death, and then afterwards they began seeking to 'beautify' everyone else by turning them into animatronics. But then, to what extent does something count as 'inanimate'? Does a corpse count as inanimate provided that the person once inhabiting it is paralysed? Maybe in this case, that's why it took them so long to die; they possessed their own dying bodies. In which case 'dying' for them mightn't be the time when their organs fail and they go into decay, it might be their minds breaking and succumbing to remnant and all its effects. Brian's line 'I can't feel anything' could have been referring to a lack of emotion rather than physical sensations. I'm not entirely sure what his soul is attached to since he wasn't put into an animatronic, although I'm going to guess he's haunting the tapes. If he can change what different people see on the tapes it could explain Anthony's lack of reaction to them, and why his employee card spontaneously appears in TWF 2.
  • I'm going to guess he's more of the Blue-and-Orange Morality kind. He seems mildly helpful, making a halfhearted effort to explain why Bon killed him and providing an example of an employee card when needed. Plus he was going to play a bigger role in Bunnyfarm until Martin Walls's computer crash.
  • When asked about which character he would fight, Martin Walls immediately answers 'Brian Stells'. Assuming this wasn't a joke answer, why?
  • His VA confirmed that his death was slow and painful so now there's more depth to the theory that he wasn't referring to physical sensations when he said he couldn't feel anything...

Brian will be Sophie's ally
If his spirit isn't bound to an animatronic programmed to kill her, maybe he could help her instead.

If the "Shadow Man" dies, he will become a Shadow animatronic

Susan and Charles are slightly based on Susie and Charlie
Susan starved to death and Susie possessed Chica, a Big Eater mascot who wears a bib that says "LET'S EAT". So Charles could have something minor in common with Charlie too (maybe something to do with gifts?).

Chris is either the Big Bad or the Big Bad's accomplice
Either way, he's the one who reprogrammed Bon to be a killer robot. But if it's the latter, he may eventually do a Heel–Face Turn and betray the Big Bad.

Alternatively...

Chris isn't the Big Bad or their accomplice, but he did teach them how to program animatronics (likely without knowing what they were really planning)
Sort of like how in the (scrapped and retconned) emails of FNAF SD, Vanny asked Luis about "IT stuff" and proceeded to make an IT department email address to trick Fazbear Funtime Service into letting her hack the animatronics.

It's why Bon's facial recognition is somewhat flawed (e.g. mistaking Brian for Sophie), because whoever reprogrammed him isn't a programming expert and only relied on the knowledge that Chris taught them. It's also why Chris isn't on the hit list, as he's likely the only source of programming knowledge for the Big Bad (especially with Susan dead).

Chris will be Sophie's ally
Basically his role as one of the protagonists of the cancelled Welcome to Bon's Burgers game (along with Sophie) will be carried over to TWF. And if he's the one who taught the Big Bad how to program animatronics, he could feel guilty for indirectly giving them a way to cause carnage and try to help Sophie to make up for it.

Susan couldn't get the attention of "the owner(s)" (presumably Felix, Chris, and/or someone from Cyberfun Tech) because someone else was distracting them
Possibly foreshadowed by Banny's level in "BunnyFarm" where Sophie has to distract Johnny the Hippo to get one of the keys.

Charles was Jack's childhood friend
Just a hunch.
  • Jossed, according to "CyberFun Tech" Charles first met the Waltens through work.

Susan was a Cyberfun Tech employee before joining Bunny Smiles Inc./Bon's Burgers
  • Seemingly confirmed by a findjackwalten.com update on July 2022.
  • Confirmed for real in "CyberFun Tech".

Charles and possibly Chris knew about Felix's car crash
With Charles, it's hinted by the Spot the Differences part of Boozoo's BunnyFarm level where the last set of pictures show Billy playing with a car and 2 red figures (along with a blue figure implied to be Felix).

With Chris, if Billy the character is indeed based on him, then Billy being in those pictures could represent Chris being aware of the car crash too (it can't be representing Ashley for obvious reasons).

The voice near the end of the "Keep an Eye" teaser saying "So they're gone? Molly and Edd?" could be either Charles or Chris.

Anthony will be the protagonist of season 2

Ashley and/or Brian was hunted down by more than one animatronic
Though Bon was the first to pursue them, the rest of the animatronics soon joined him in killing "Sophie".

Unlike Rosemary's death scene where it's clear that Bon was the only one to kill her (implying that the previous victims, Susan and Charles, were also only killed by Bon), Ashley's death was completely off-screen and Brian never turned around to check who was chasing him, leaving open the possibility of multiple animatronics attacking them (though Bon was still the one to catch Brian, he takes up most of the screen in his jumpscare before Brian's death so it's possible there were other animatronics behind him catching up). And maybe Ashley's and Brian's deaths took a long time (Ashley's being implied to have taken an hour and Brian's being described as slow and painful) because there were so many animatronics attacking them at the same time.

This could even explain the game crashing during Billy's level (almost as if Ashley freaked out when she realized the other ghosts are with her) and Brian's silence throughout the entirety of "BunnyFarm"(as if he's trying to hide from the other ghosts). Even if Ashley and Brian are aware that the animatronics' programming were in control and not the ghosts possessing them, it's understandable that they're still scared of them and don't completely trust them.

Susan was the one who built Rocket
Neither Jack nor Felix are engineers so they likely aren't the ones who built it. There's some implication that Susan and Jack were close, so it would make sense for her to have built a present for his kids.

Hilary and Kevin will return
Perhaps they'll try to investigate Ashley's disappearance on their own (or have been doing so already) and even become Sophie's allies on their way.

Rosemary/Sha will be the Token Good Teammate
Possibly foreshadowed by Sha's Odd Name Out, both Rosemary and Sha's kind personalities, and how Rosemary was close to Sophie before her death. Rosemary will try the hardest to resist the animatronic's murderous programming and help Sophie however she can, though she may still eventually succumb to the programming or get destroyed by the other animatronics. Basically she'll be kind of like Glamrock Freddy from Security Breach, though maybe not exactly the same.

As for Rocket, it's rather ambiguous as Molly's the one who gave him that name, but if he was originally a scrapped mascot or something then he may or may not have had a real name that began with a B. It's possible only one of the kids possessing him will be a Token Good Teammate (either Edd if he's also Showbear/Showbear's replacement, or Molly because she was the more friendly sibling before their deaths and the one who named Rocket in the first place).

Susan has read Linda's diary
After Sophie completes Banny's BunnyFarm level, Banny disappears but Holly stays behind. It's only after Sophie finishes reading Linda's diary that Holly disappears. Given the implication that Holly the mascot was designed after Susan, perhaps she's read Linda's diary at some point (likely thanks to Felix accidentally leaving it at Bon's Burgers) and she's the one showing Sophie the diary pages, so that she'll know why Felix did what he did before she hears Edd and Molly's story. And both Banny and Holly's disappearance represent Susan's segment being completed (as with the other mascots' disappearances corresponding with the completion of the matching victims' segments). However, it's still unclear if Susan censored the other pages herself or if Linda or Felix crossed them out before she read them.

Something bad has happened/will happen to Norman Pooltrick (and his brother if he exists)
Potentially foreshadowed by the Hippo brothers' disappearance during "BunnyFarm", assuming Pete is indeed supposed to parallel Norman Pooltrick.

Charles' job (or at least one of his jobs) at Bon's Burgers was to be an entertainer along with the animatronics
If Boozoo the character was indeed designed after him (like how Sha was presumably based on Rosemary), the latter could've had good showmanship similar to the former. Charles may also be the one saying "ready, set" in this teaser.
  • Jossed, he was a computer supervisor according to "CyberFun Tech".

Charles died on Susan's birthday
Boozoo's BunnyFarm segment being titled "Lily's Birthday" could be hinting at this, since the name Susan means "lily".
  • "CyberFun Tech" revealed that Lily is actually Charles' daughter, so probably not (though technically not impossible either).

The Shadow Man is a human possessed by a ghost
For example, they could be Felix possessed by "Bon" (since it was shown the latter can move around outside Bon the animatronic). One of the pages on findjackwalten.com did hint at ghosts being able to possess humans after all.

"Bon" (when they were alive) was part of the art department
The segment about concept art of the mascots in "CyberFun Tech" seems rather out of place in an episode about, well, CyberFun Tech, but maybe it's actually meant to hint at "Bon's" identity. "Bon's" obsession with making others beautiful could also be related to them being an artist. As Rosemary was the head of the art department, her particularly gruesome death may or may not have had something to do with her and "Bon's" relationship and any conflicts they could've had while working in the same department.

"Bon" committed suicide
It looks like there's a mark that looks like a gunshot wound on the side of their head, maybe it was self-inflicted?

"Bon" is emulating Jack (either intentionally or subconsciously, for whatever reason)
Suit and tie? Check. Very tall? Check. Creepy ass smile? Check. Not to mention all the times Jack and Bon were seemingly associated with each other in some of the episodes.

"Bon" pitched the idea for/wrote the story for BunnyFarm
If the appearance of Wonderland is any indication, "Bon" seems to have an affinity for farms (maybe they used to live near and/or work at a farm?), so it's possible making a farm-themed arcade game was their idea, though BSI/CyberFun Tech didn't start developing the actual game until after their death. Bonus points if they've watched an animal be slaughtered before, or even slaughtered one themself.

"Bon" used to take memory-loss pills (similar to Sophie's) when they were alive
Assuming "Bon" does have memory issues (judging from their hazy appearance and calling themself "Bon" instead of their real name), maybe they used to take those pills just to erase their bad memories, but overdosed on them shortly (?) before their death and the pills' effects carried over to the afterlife. Though if their somewhat clearer face/head in "Spectacle" is any indication, either the memory-loss effects have been naturally wearing off or "Bon" somehow figured out how to regain their memories another way.

"Bon" (as an alive human) was the one who suggested Jack to ask Felix to drive Edd and Molly
This is regardless of whether "Bon" knew about Felix's alcoholism or not, and if the former, whether they genuinely wanted Edd, Molly and/or Felix to get hurt, didn't realize Felix would go as far as to drink while taking care of two children, or just suggested a random person without thinking through. Either way, if Jack was the one who (accidentally?) killed "Bon", this could've contributed to the former lashing out at the latter.

If the above WMG about "Bon" taking memory-loss pills is true, maybe they found out about Felix's alcoholism at some point but forgot about it because of their pills. And after asking around and finding out that "Bon" was told about Felix's alcoholism, Jack could've mistakenly believed "Bon" intentionally suggested him to ask Felix to drive his kids while knowing about his alcoholism, and assumed "Bon" either wanted Edd and Molly to get hurt or was just an idiot, making Jack's anger at "Bon" even worse.

Jenny Letterson and "Bon" are related
Wouldn't it be ironic if Sophie's girlfriend was related to the series' main villain who wants Sophie dead of all people?

    Meta/Other
Bon isn't the second speaker in "Lucky You"
They say "they will see you soon, Sophie", not "we". Since "they" is referring to the animatronics and Bon is clearly programmed to go after Sophie, it wouldn't make sense for him to be the one speaking.

Instead, the second speaker is none other than the Big Bad themself; they say "I don't know how, I didn't even mean to, but I [made them beautiful]" because they started this whole mess in the first place out of hatred towards Jack, but at this point they've become so unhinged from all the murders they've committed that they now genuinely believe their victims possessing the animatronics are beautiful.

Furthermore, "they want us to know what happened that year" instead of "you" imply that the victims aren't even aware that one of the people they've been trying to communicate with is the one responsible for programming Bon to kill them, which would also explain why they didn't reveal the culprit right away in "BunnyFarm" the way Edd and Molly did with Felix.

Sophie isn't the only one who was given memory-erasing pills

The Pumpkin Rabbit is William Afton.
Specifically, the Walten Files AlternateUniverse version of him. Rather than wearing a mascot costume to lure his victims, every Halloween he tricks kids into sleeping at his house and kills them in his basement.

I mean really, a yellow rabbit with a PURPLE bow tie?

The series will end at the end of 2021
Unless of course there's going to be a sequel or prequel series..
  • Maybe season one will end at the end of 2021, because the year's almost over and TWF 4 isn't out yet.
  • Jossed.

If the remnant theory is to be believed, Sophie and Jenny will burn down the place with all the animatronics in it.
Remnant can be neutralised permanently with overheating, and it's how the other animatronics were eventually exorcised.

A human character will be possessed by a ghost at some point
Possibly foreshadowed by a mention of "Human Possession" on the findjackwalten.com/brightonghosts page.

William Afton is a Bunny Smiles Inc./Cyberfun Tech employee in the TWF universe

July 14 is the birthday of a major character
Both Charles and Ashley died on July 14; Boozoo's level in "BunnyFarm" involves helping him prepare a birthday party and the tape that Ashley played starts with a birthday song.

June 11 is the birthday of a major character
Based on how the Discard tape with the birthday song is labeled that date. At least we know for sure that it isn't Jack's birthday.

Rosemary and Sophie were originally intended to be killed on the same day
First Sophie was lured backstage, then Rosemary. But when Bon attacked Rosemary, Sophie managed to escape in time before he could go after her.

Someone (likely the Big Bad, assuming they aren't Felix) dug up Edd and Molly's bodies and stuffed them in Rocket
Though Showbear's words "but they found a way out eventually" make it seem like Edd and Molly possessed Rocket all on their own, who's to say they didn't get a little "help" from someone else? This person likely found out where the kids were buried by listening to Felix's tape somehow.
  • Presumably jossed since Rocket was confirmed to be just under 30 inches tall. However, it's still possible only parts of Edd and Molly were stuffed into it (like maybe their eyes or something).
    • This is also jossed, as "CyberFun Tech" revealed Felix simply took Rocket with him.

The ghosts aren't the ones who tampered with the tapes and the game
Whether they can't actually do much outside of the animatronics they're trapped in, or ghosts just flat out don't exist, either way the Big Bad responsible for reprogramming Bon is the one who actually messed with the tapes and the game to trick Sophie into believing the victims are trying to communicate with her, lure her to K-9 and get her killed by the animatronics.

Something happened between '82 and '83 that caused BSI to shut down
The company didn't just simply go bankrupt, something major happened that caused it to shut down. For example, someone could've gotten injured/died in a way that BSI couldn't cover up (e.g. an animatronic attacked someone during opening hours), or most if not all of the animatronics could've gotten destroyed.

The Discard tape isn't just a hit list
The beeps and buzzes are actually audio commands intended to control the animatronics. The longer beep right after the song glitches out commands the animatronics to activate, the shorter beeps command Jack (Bon), Susan (Banny), Charles (Boozoo), and Rosemary (Sha) to move towards a specific location (in this case the source of the audio commands), and the buzz commands them to kill Sophie (and stuff her body inside Billy). The creator of the tape likely intended for Sophie to play it, but Ashley ended up playing it instead.

Rocket's dialogue in BunnyFarm is legitimate scrapped content
Someone/some people at BSI wanted to bring back "Rocket" as part of the main cast, but Felix rejected the idea because he associates the character with the deaths of Edd and Molly now.

The number 8 will be an Arc Number
  • Presumably 8 dead victims so far: Edd, Molly, Jack, Susan, Charles, Rosemary, Ashley, and Brian.
  • 8 year gap between 1974 (the year most of the deaths happened) and 1982 (the year Sophie starts to regain her memories).
  • 8 characters with spoken dialogue in BunnyFarm: Bon, Sha, Boozoo, Banny, Billy, Pete, Holly, and Rocket.
  • If Starla turns out to be an important character and possibly even the Big Bad somehow, it's worth noting that her BunnyFarm save file is the eighth file. Jenny's and Chris' save files also happen to have the number 8 in them.

Possible replacements for Showbear
  • A completely new character.
  • Duckie or Tammy: Assuming Edd was the one behind Showbear (and will be behind his replacement), Edd and Molly's fates do very loosely parallel Duckie and Tammy's (two kids killed by an adult). It helps that Duckie has a brief cameo appearance in "Relocate Project".
  • Mortality: He does look like a clown animal with a Slasher Smile similar to Showbear, plus he's a rabbit with a blue bowtie like Rocket (again, assuming Showbear and his replacement are Edd's manifestations). And then there's the irony of Mortality tormenting someone in a blue suit vs Edd being killed by someone in a blue suit.
  • TVA (from "The Mysterious House").
  • The green bunny from the "Keep An Eye" teaser.

Rough sequence of when each early member of BSI joined the team, paralleling the mascots that are based on them
This is connected to the WMG in a different folder above about "which mascots are based on which person". This has nothing to do with which person is possessing which animatronic.
  • Jack (Bon), Felix ("Rocket"), and an unknown female coworker(Banny) are the earliest members of Bunny Smiles, with Rosemary (Sha) and Charles (Boozoo) joining soon after. Parallels the original 4 members of the Showstoppers + "Rocket" possibly being intended to be a part of the band before being scrapped.
  • Sometime later, Chris (Billy) joins the team. Parallels Billy's late addition to the band.
  • Eventually Norman Pooltrick (Pete) offers help to BSI. A Cyberfun Tech employee, Susan (Holly), starts working at Bon's Burgers. Parallels the events of the BunnyFarm game.

A playable BunnyFarm game will be released
Like what Gemini Home Entertainment did with Lethal Omen.

What's really happening in the Sha/Rosemary and Shadow Man scene in "Relocate Project"
This is written under the assumption that:
  1. The Shadow Man is not the one who lured Rosemary backstage, and
  2. Felix is the Shadow Man, as implied by the last set of Spot the Differences images (with the blue figure turning black) and a lyric in one of the Showstoppers songs ("Shadow Man watches from the dark, he knows he wrecked that car")

After Rosemary is lured backstage, Felix shows up. Rosemary starts crying at the sight of Felix, approaches him and unleashes pure unadulterated rage at him (understandably so considering what happened to Edd and Molly), symbolized by the whole screen going red. It's not 100% clear if Sophie was at the backstage before or after Rosemary (Sophie could've either been lured before Rosemary, or showed up when she heard Rosemary yell at Felix) but either way she's there too.

Then Bon shows up and attacks Rosemary in front of Sophie and Felix, both of which get horrified and run away. The person who actually lured Rosemary backstage presumably escapes after this while it's still dark. Eventually Felix returns, turns the lights on and discovers that Bon has stuffed Rosemary's corpse into Sha.

The ghosts suspect that Felix is the one behind Bon's killing spree
That's why they sometimes (presumably) depict Felix as an ominous "Shadow Man". They already know he killed Edd and Molly so it's understandable they'd suspect him to be responsible for Bon's rampage too. However they aren't completely confident that Felix is behind Bon's murders (and they may even be wrong), which is why they don't outright tell Sophie "Felix is the one who reprogrammed Bon!"

The Shadow Man is only described as a "man" because the ghosts think it's Felix
In which case the "Shadow Man" could be any gender (and may not even be Felix).

Shadow Man is a ghost manifestation of "Bon" (the spirit possessing Bon the animatronic)

Bunnyfarm is some type of laserdisc/VHS game and not a pixelated arcade RPG-lite
Kinda self explanatory given that the sprites don't scale properly (as in, they move between pixels instead of aligned, and that there's actual video footage hidden within the game itself, it's probably a type of cassette-style game which uses a set of overlayed pictures with the pixelated backgrounds being rendered beneath.

"Faces of Grief" will show more of BSI's art department
Because it's been hinted that this episode will focus more on Rosemary, and she was BSI's lead artist.
