     Theories about potential future installments
The ellipsis gem can be used to turn things back to normal and so the surviving letters are going to try to find a way to do that.
We don't know what function the ellipsis gem has, but considering it came from Z, a living planet and potential god, it could be extremely powerful. As such, the remaining letters, feeling guilty about what happened to F and wanting to make things up, will try and find a way to use the ellipsis gem to revive the dead letters and make them all friends again.
  • The ellipsis likely has the power to make things continue, such as how an ellipsis is often used to dictate text that continues on. It is possible that the gems will be sought out, perhaps by N, as a means to give F and everyone else a chance to continue at life.
  • Confirmed. Z uses the ellipsis gem to turn back time back to the point when they were all lowercase and F got attacked. During this, Q gives N the ? gem before it fully activated, giving N the knowledge to his past self. This causes n to stand with f together, getting beaten up but together.
There will be a redemption arc (or maybe even multiple) for L and O.
One could be a sort of flashback where they went from bullies to superheroes, and another one could be where they feel remorse towards how they treated N and/or F and want to improve their personalities.
There will be new punctuation gems introduced.
These gems and their potential owners could include:
  • Parentheses (), which could act like a shield of sorts given their appearance and the fact that they enclose text.
    • W, as they are Conjoined Twins and parentheses always comes in pairs, could recieve this gem. They could also recieve the brackets and braces listed below as alternatives, for the same reason.
  • The percent sign %, which could give the user the power to grow and shrink as necessary given that it's often used when referencing scale, or could turn the user invisible and/or see-through given it can also be used to represent opacity.
    • I seems like a possible fit. I is already a small letter, but it would be fun if they became smaller or larger, or invisible. I even vaguely resembles the percentage sign if slanted.
  • The caret ^, which could create a given number of smaller clones of its user in reference to how it's used to indicate exponents. Also, carets are sometimes used to write superscripts. It could also give its user flight, since exponents are written above numbers.
    • X, though he already has the asterisk gem, seems very fitting for this gem as well. Or perhaps V due to resembling an upside-down caret.
  • The slash /, which could act like a sword or give the user one given its name and appearance, as well as how it's used as the division symbol; because when you slice something with a sword, you divide it.
    • Alternatively, it could be used as some sort of hacking device, due to its presence in computing.
    • S gets the slash, but instead of receiving a sword, he becomes the sword by straightening his body.
  • The degree sign °, which could give the user fire and/or ice powers in reference to how degrees are used to measure temperature, or could rotate objects due to it being used to measure angles.
    • F, as he is the first letter of both fire and frost. Also Fahrenheit.
  • The ampersand &, which could have abilities similar to the asterisk given that it's the "and" symbol.
    • ( in the epilogue, N’s Semicolon and F’s Question Mark join each other forming an ampersand which references “N & F”. It’s use is currently unknown.)
  • The at sign @, which could give its user the ability to teleport due to its name implying location and the sign itself looking like some sort of vortex.
    • A, because he's the letter represented on the sign.
  • The dollar sign $, pound sterling £, and other currency symbols, which could be used as currency or as a piggy bank of sorts. Could also have an online shop-like function.
    • K, because that letter is used to represent a thousand in dollars.
  • The bullet point •, which could give its user a projectile attack similar to the ones I and J have due to its name.
    • G would be the best fit because, well, he operated a gun.
  • The quotation mark ", which could give its user the ability to copy someone else's powers due to quotation marks being used to indicate something someone else said.
    • Q could use the quotation gem to make up for his slow movement.
  • The apostrophe ', which could be used to shrink (in reference to how it's used to form contractions) or mind-control (in reference to how it's used to form possessives) letters.
    • H, due to being a ghost, befitting the possessive part.
  • The inverted exclamation point ¡ and inverted question mark ¿, which could have the opposite effect of their regular counterparts, with the inverted exclamation point slowing down and silencing its target and the inverted question mark acting like the neuralyzer from Men in Black.
  • The number sign/pound sign/hashtag #, which could be used as a communication device due to its association with social media and its presence on phone keypads.
    • Something that could be associated with the numbers themselves. Same with the other math symbols listed below.
  • The hyphen/dash/minus sign -, which could be used to connect things similarly to the semicolon, give its user super speed similarly to the exclamation point (because it's the dash),or act as some sort of death ray due to it being the minus sign. Additionally, if used/held by a number, it could corrupt them into a negative number.
  • The underscore _, which could give its user the ability to travel through the ground similarly to how T does, or another social media-related gem (Usernames commonly have these).
  • The equals sign =, which could weaken other punctuation gems and thus even the playing field.
  • The not equal sign ≠, which could do the opposite of the equals sign, making one gem even more powerful than the other.
  • The plus sign +, which could combine the powers of two or more punctuation gems.
  • The brackets [], which could trap someone in them due to brackets being used to enclose text (like the parentheses).
  • The dakuten ゛ and handakuten ゜, which could serve as Transformation Trinkets for hiragana and katakana since they change consonant sounds in Japanese (for instance, ka (か/カ) becomes ga (が/ガ) and ho (ほ/ホ) becomes po (ぽ/ポ))
  • The chōonpu ー (it looks like a hyphen, but it's longer), which could give kana and possibly other letters Rubber Man powers given how it extends vowel sounds in Japanese.
  • The less than and greater than signs < >, which could increase or decrease a punctuation gem's power in reference to how it's used in mathematics.
    • They could also be upgraded into the less than or equal and greater than or equal signs ≤ ≥, which could have the same functionality but also include a reset function, which could reset a punctuation gem's power back to the original setting, hence the "equal" part of the name.
  • The square root √, which could give its user Incredible Shrinking Man powers, in reference to how the square root of something is usually smaller.
    • In contrast, P's exclamation point ! could be given a new power of making its user grow in size, in reference to how it's used to represent factorials.
  • The pilcrow ¶, which could bring things to life due to the symbol being used to mark the start of a paragraph.
    • Z seems fitting for it, since he's the planet.
  • The section §, which may be used as a Transformation Trinket for a Batman Parody as this piece of punctuation is used in texts of law. It could also be used to look into opaque objects as in cross-section.
    • If L uses this gem, they may use it to transform into an expy of Judge Dredd due to their Lantern Jaw of Justice and the fact that the word "law" begins with the letter L.
  • The vertical bar |, which could be used to create walls for protection. It could also give its holder the ability to teleport as it is sometimes used to represent distance.
  • The tilde ~, which if used on two gems, would give them equal power, as it’s the “similar to” symbol in mathematics.
  • The integral ∫, which could be used as a map, as it’s used to calculate area.
    • S could also recieve this, since the symbol is itself a stylized S.
  • The plus or minus ±, which could share the same abilities as the previous plus and minus gems.
  • The curly brackets {}, which could be used to prevent letters from moving outside of an area, since they're used to code linear restrictions.
  • The acute ◌́, which could stun letters to make them stressed, as it’s used to indicate stress on a vowel in most languages.
  • The grave ◌̀, which could make a letter taller as it’s used to indicate vowel height in Romance Languages.
  • The circumflex ◌̂, which could act as a Power Nullifier as it’s used to indicate places where an S used to/should be in French.
  • The union symbol ∪, which could be an alternative to the semicolon or be used to glue object together.
    • It's pretty obvious what letter gets the Union symbol based on how it looks.
  • The interrobang ‽, which could allow its user to time travel, combining the powers of the question mark and the exclamation point.
Other living symbols that might appear in the future
  • Numbers/math symbols
    • Expanding on that idea, it could introduce the numbers 1 to 10/20, seeing as how they're usually the numbers taught to toddlers, similar to the alphabet.
      • Or perhaps the single digits 0 through 9, as they, like the letters, are individual symbols.
    • This has been confirmed in The Stinger of this new compilation video.
  • Letters in foreign/ancient alphabets/syllabaries (Greek, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi, hiragana, katakana, etc.; the older letters (Greek, Hebrew, etc.) could be the parents/grandparents of the Latin letters, similarly to how the Latin alphabet evolved from other alphabets)
  • Kanji
  • Currency symbols, perhaps as merchants who help the letters in their quest
  • Musical symbols
  • Egyptian hieroglyphics
  • Planet/constellation symbols
What other symbol characters might be like
  • Numbers (Confirmed):
    • 0: Depressed, lonely, nihilistic, possibly a ghost, or an Eldritch Abomination (given the fact that anything divided by 0 in a calculator will result in an error)
    • 1: Narcissistic and arrogant or competitive and determined.
      • In the Season 1 compilation video, there is a hidden scene introducing 1. 1 is shown scowling, and he is determined to find X.
    • 2: A boring, nerdy sort of person (because superscript 2 means square). Could be 1's sidekick.
      • 2 is introduced as the result of 1 cloning himself, and he assists 1 by injuring the letters.
    • 3: Some sort of magic user (because three is a magic number) or something else to do with the Rule of Three
      • 3 is yet another clone experiment, and is more of a frog-like creature with fire breath.
    • 4: Either something related to Four Is Death (perhaps being a ghost) or have them be an Expy of the Fantastic Four. They could have an alter ego that is the open four, which resembles the Russian letter Che Ч.
    • 5: Either a super-friendly guy who loves high-fives or a robot (in reference to Johnny Five).
    • 6: Something to do with the Number of the Beast (in addition, F, the main antagonist, is the sixth letter, so...)
    • 7: A person who was Born Lucky. Alternatively, they could be an antagonistic figure due to the "seven ate nine" joke and this animation Mike Salcedo made of it before the Alphabet series.
    • 8: They could do something related to food due to their name sounding like "ate," and/or they could be an octopus (octopus’ have 8 tentacles) or a spider (spiders have 8 legs).
    • 9: They could be a cat since they are known for having 9 lives, and like U and Y, could have puns made about sounding like the German word for "no"
    • 10: The Ace, since it's the base of our counting system.
    • 11: A football/soccer player (as football/soccer games have 11 players on each team.) Or someone who likes thinking outside the box (as in numerology, 11 means going one step past the limit and breaking the rules.)
    • 12: Someone who is Obsessively Organized, since 12 represents order and perfection
    • 13: Another possible antagonist, because 13 Is Unlucky
    • 14: Something to do with astronomy, because of the term lunar fortnight, and a fortnight is 14 days.
    • 15: Someone who's generally sweet and innocent, given the number's association with strawberries in Japan.
    • 16: A robot character, as hexadecimal (base-16) notation is commonly used in computing.
    • 17: Either an Italian stereotype (since it's an unlucky number in Italy) or a Cloud Cuckoolander given just how bizarre multiplying by it is.
    • 18: A very mature and level-headed person as it's the age of adulthood in the United States.
    • 19: A sick character (much like the Greek letter Omicron below), because of the COVID-19 virus.
    • 20: A cricket player (because of the cricket variant ''Twenty20''.
    • 21: Something to do with the 9+10=21 vine.
    • Infinity (∞): Either some sort of god (possibly the planet the numbers live on, kinda like Z) or an Expy of Buzz Lightyear, possibly 8's alter ego.
  • Greek letters:
    • Alpha (Α/α): Possibly the planet the other Greek letters live on to contrast with Z and since alpha represents beginnings. Also, if the characters from the Latin alphabet were to visit the Greek letters' planet (say, via spaceship), it'd make sense for the first letter they encounter to be the planet itself. Also A's parent.
    • Beta (Β/β): A glitchy robot or AI character. B's parent.
    • Gamma (Γ/γ): Expy of the Incredible Hulk, who got his powers through gamma radiation. C and G's parent.
    • Delta (Δ/δ): A flying/pilot sort of character (in reference to delta wings and/or the airline Delta). Alternatively, they could be a sort of chaotic character since it's used to denote change in mathematics (thus, they could be an Expy of Bill Cipher or Jevil). D's parent.
    • Epsilon (Ε/ε): Possibly an advertising character or marketing expert (in reference to Epsilon the global advertising and marketing technology company). E's parent.
    • Zeta (Ζ/ζ): An antagonist due to being the sixth letter of the Greek alphabet like how F is the sixth letter of the Latin alphabet. They might be trying to overthrow whatever planet the Greek letters live on due to zeta being the predecessor of the Latin Z. In that case, they are Z's parent.
    • Eta (Η/η): Might be some sort of a computer as it’s lowercase form stands for the ideality factor of a bipolar transistor. It appears in contexts where the transistor is used as a temperature sensing device, e.g. the thermal "diode" transistor that is embedded within a computer's microprocessor. They could also (like 8) be related to food as they sound like “eat a”. H’s parent.
    • Theta (Θ/θ): Could have fire and ice powers as it’s the symbol for temperature (specifically Celsius).
    • Iota (Ι/ι): Expy of Yoda due to their names being pronounced similarly. I and J's parent.
    • Kappa (Κ/κ): Based on the Youkai of the same name as a pun. K's parent.
    • Lambda (Λ/λ): Expy of Gordon Freeman due to lambda being the Half-Life series' logo. L's parent.
    • Mu (Μ/μ): If not a source of jokes revolving around it being pronounced "moo" or "mew," they could be an abrasive and possibly even antagonistic character due to lowercase mu representing the mean in mathematics; possibly, like L and O, being mean as a kid but mellowing out into a more normal person as an adult due to "average" being a synonym (to a degree) for "mean" in the mathematical sense. M's parent.
    • Nu (Ν/ν): Someone who constantly disagrees with everyone due to its name being similar to “no”. N’s parent.
    • Xi (Ξ/ξ) Might be a Chinese stereotype due to Xi also being a Chinese letter. X’s Parent.
    • Omicron (Ο/ο): A sick character, either one suffering from or seeking to spread the disease they have, in reference to the Omicron variant of COVID-19 or perhaps have cosmic powers due to this letter being used in astronomy. O's parent.
    • Pi (Π/π): a sort of nerdy or scientific character, given its fame as a mathematical constant. P's parent.
    • Rho (Ρ/ρ or ϱ): Likely someone who can see into the future, due to it usually meaning destiny. R’s parent.
    • Sigma (Σ/σ/ς): They could have powers related to addition or combination (possibly using the plus gem described above) due to uppercase sigma being used as the symbol for summation. S's parent
    • Tau (Τ/τ): They could be an alien (in reference to Warhammer 40K's Tau), could have electric powers (in reference to there being an electron-like particle called a tau), or a sibling of Pi due to sometimes being used for 2 times Pi. T's parent.
    • Upsilon (Υ/υ) Either something to do with astronomy (the 20th star in a constellation is named “Upsilon [Blank]”) or someone interested in physics. (Upsilon can be a meson thought to contain a b quark bound to its antiparticle, produced in particle accelerators.) F, U, V, W, and Y’s parent.
    • Phi (Φ/φ): They'd probably be gold-colored because phi is the mathematical symbol for the golden ratio. Possible parent of Q.
    • Chi (Χ/χ): A relative of X due to their similar shape and position in their respective alphabets. (Note that the actual ancestor of X is Xi Ξ. Might act as a cousin or brother to X or another parent.)
    • Psi (Ψ/ψ): Either a psychic character or a sort of Poseidon-type figure due to psi looking like a trident, used in stream function and used in the equation for water potential or perhaps acts as The Medic as it's linked with pharmacology. P’s other parent.
    • Omega (Ω/ω): Possibly another planet the Greek letters could be native to, similarly to Z, since it's the last letter of the Greek alphabet (in addition, "omega" means "big O" (which is why it has "mega" in it), so they'd probably be huge even if they weren't a planet). The other parent of O.
  • Kana:
    • Ka (か/カ): An antagonist due to being the sixth letter of the kana system much like how F is in the Latin alphabet. They'd possibly have some sort of fire powers due to one reading for the "fire" kanji (火) being "ka."
    • Shi (し/シ): Another antagonist candidate since "shi" is Japanese for "death."
    • Tsu (つ/ツ): A very positive, upbeat character due to their katakana form resembling a smiley face and being used as such in some emoticons.
    • Ha (は/ハ): A character who constantly laughs for some reason (they're easily amused, they're crazy, they're evil or mean-spirited, etc.).
    • Yo (よ/ヨ): Similar to how A said his name as the interjection "Ayyyyyy," Yo could say their name in a similar manner.
    • Wi (ゐ/ヰ) and We (ゑ/ヱ): Since they're dead letters for the most part, they could be ghosts, prehistoric creatures, or show up in the background as fossils/graves.
    • Wo/Particle O (を/ヲ): A shy, nerdy character due to this letter sometimes being used as the "o" in Otaku.
  • Planets / Constellations:
    • Sun/Sol (☉): Has a “sunny” disposition.
    • Mercury (☿): Someone who has extreme tolerance to temperature, (Mercury can soar as high as 430 °C in the day and plummet to -180 °C at night.), can turn into liquid at will, or could be a fast person.
    • Venus (♀) The “hot” girl of the bunch. (Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system.) She could also be very smart. (Venus is the brightest planet) Most likely a female, as her symbol is the female symbol.
    • Earth/Terra (🜃/⊕) A kind, honest, nature lover (Earth is the only habitable planet in the solar system.)
    • The Moon/Luna (☾) Could be a nocturnal animal or someone who’s constantly sleeping. (Both reference the fact that the moon is commonly used to represent night.) Often seen hanging around Earth/Terra (due to the Moon being Earth's satellite, a literal Satellite Character if you will).
    • Mars (♂) Either a violent character/fan of war (Mars is known as the Red Planet, and red is often associated with violence, not only that but Mars is named after the Roman god of WAR), or someone who is very creative (Mars has many unique structures such as Olympus mons and Valles Marineris). Likely a male, for the same reason as Venus.
    • Jupiter (♃): A very energetic character (Jupiter takes the least time to rotate out of all the planets), they could also be large and very strong (Jupiter is the largest and most massive planet), they might have lightning or electric powers (Jupiter is the Roman god of thunder and lightning.), or could have a pimple (Referencing the Great Red Spot, the solar systems largest hurricane/typhoon/cyclone or whatever you call them.) and could have powers based on wind.
    • Saturn (♄) They could be someone who boasts about beauty (Saturn has a large ring system which people commonly call “beautiful”), and might have the ability to warp time (Saturn is named after the Roman god of time). Could also be an antagonist (Saturn is the 6th planet from the sun and F is the 6th letter.
    • Uranus (⛢/♅): An eccentric, quirky character (Uranus is one of the most unusual planets in the solar system via "rolling" around the sun), possibly also being able to fly (Uranus was the god of the sky). Could have a dirty sense of humor.
    • Neptune (♆): A dark, miserable goth/emo. (Neptune is the furthest planet from the sun and, as such, deflects the least light, thus making it the darkest). Might also have “windy” mood swings (Neptune has the fastest wind speeds out of any planet). Might have water-bending abilities (Neptune is the Roman god of the sea).
    • Pluto (♇): Another possible antagonist due to Pluto’s demotion to dwarf planet in 2006, if not, they would likely be sad and depressed for the same reason.
    • Eris (⯰): Very wise of what’s happening as they hide in the scattered disk and watch what everyone is doing. Might also act as someone to keep Pluto company and happy.
  • Star Signs:
    • Aries (♈︎): Someone who wants to stand out of the crowd due to it being its meaning.
  • Retired letters:
    • Thorn (Þ/þ): Someone agressive or prickly, like a thorn.
    • Ampersand (&): Another celestial object, since it was the letter than came after Z in the alphabet. Could be summoned using F and N's & gem.
    • Long S (ſ): S's long-lost relative. Could be an antagonistic figure, invoking Snakes Are Sinister, in addition to the letter somewhat resembling an F, who is the main antagonist.
If there is an alternative Golden Ending for the series, it will feature each letter singing their respective part of the Alphabet Song.
  • Perhaps it could be titled "Next Time Won't You Sing With Me?"
    • There is a new compilation video titled this. It's the entire Alphabet Lore plus a hidden scene at the end.
Alphabet Lore will soon become a whole TV series or franchise.
N getting hurt will trigger F's Super Mode.
F has the semicolon gem now, but he doesn't have an accessory yet to help him transform. N will get hurt or kidnapped by an antagonist (perhaps the numbers). F will be clearly saddened by this, but his sadness will turn to anger as he transforms, making his Super Mode the result of a Traumatic Superpower Awakening.
Possible future arcs
  • Shape Lore: Shape characters are introduced.
  • Color Lore: A color wheel somewhere in the universe is tampered with, causing everyone's colors to fade.
     Number lore theories/predictions
X will become more of an expy of Goku, with the numbers being Saiyan expies
  • X could be a number who was sent to Planet Z in order to conquer it, but lost his memories, rejected his number heritage, and embraced letter culture. The numbers would thus be trying to get him to come back to their side.
Alternatively, the numbers are good guys/well-intentioned extremists seeking help from X
  • Since X can stand for any number, being a variable, perhaps X is some sort of hero to the numbers and they're seeking him out to protect them from or warn him about some sort of threat.
I and E, more specifically their lowercase versions, will play an important role in the number saga
  • Lowercase I stands for the square root of negative one, while lowercase E is a symbol for Euler's number, both of which are math concepts, so they could play a role in Season 2.
1 will be an expy of Riker
Greek letters will have their appearance
  • Greek letters serve a large purpose in scientific maths. There is an opportunity to have letters from the Greek alphabet be used or have cameos.
7 will eat 9
  • Going off of a short video created by Mike Salcedo in 2013, based on the classic "Why was 6 afraid of 7?" joke. 7 could quite possibly be the number equivalent of F, fitting as they have a similar shape. And for that matter, 9 also looks similar to P, who coincidentally was partially eaten by F in the bad timeline. Oh, and further going off the short, seven will be dark yellow and nine will be purple.
    • The calculator ship has nine buttons to represent each of the main numbers, but the 7th button has a crack on it, further indicating that 7 is more insane than the rest.
X will be used to clone the numbers
  • Because X is also the multiplication symbol. It will also benefit the alphabet gang, making them able to spell out words with more than one of the same letter (eg; coffee).
    • Confirmed. 1 uses X (or rather his gem) to clone himself in episode 2.
Depending on the motives of the numbers, 0 will either be the Big Good or the Big Bad
  • The number 0 is quite special and important in mathematics, so it only makes sense for them to play a big role in the story. Alternatively, they could also be an ambassador to the numbers.
    • Maybe O is actually Zero and has been hiding out among the letters.
      • Further adding onto that, if the numbers are evil, O/Zero could potentially have been sent to spy on the letters, and that's why One knows X's location.
X may be equal to 4
In episode 2 of Number Lore, when you look at the calculator pods in 4:47, you can see that X is in 4's spot. This might mean that X would equal 4. Although this is just unlikely.
  • If this is true, it's possible that the numbers could use X to create 4, rather than making them with the arithemtic machine like it was done with 2 and 3.
F will be one of the main heroes, or an Anti-Hero, this time around
At some point, N will be hurt or kidnapped by one of the numbers, prompting F to avenge or rescue his dear friend. For bonus points, the number he faces off against is 7, his possible Evil Counterpart.
  • Going off of what's been revealed so far, it's quite possible F will be the protagonist. While the first arc mainly involved N facing his fears, it makes sense this time around for F to fix his flaws. After his falling out with N, the only way F can resolve their friendship (and to prevent himself slipping back into villainy) would be to put the past behind him and forgive the other letters, finding that Good Feels Good.
One of the numbers will be a Token Good Teammate
  • It could possibly be Nine, which is why 7 (potentially) eats 9. It could also be Six, who is afraid of 7 because of that and pulls a Heel–Face Turn as a result.
Going off of a previous theory... X was desired by 1 because...
  • 1 is the Last of His Kind.
    • His spaceship has numerous spaces for pilots, yet 1 is the only one shown in the spaceship itself, which seems odd, unless he was the only pilot. Using X's gem, it's likely he can use the ship's genetic facility to create more numbers, which was how 2 came to be.
    • Going off of that, it's likely that he really only wanted to get X's gem (and thus, had to take X by force) and get out of there, only attacking the other letters once they attacked him first, and only by using the much stronger 2 (as he suffered a Curb-Stomp Battle otherwise).
    • 1's endgame is to repopulate his planet using the multiplication gem. Though considering his actions (abducting X and subjecting Y, M, and B to a Curb-Stomp Battle against 2), this would likely place him as a Well-Intentioned Extremist.
    • For bonus points, whatever happened to the number planet which possibly killed the numbers was caused by One himself.
The Calculator Ship is capable of doing more than addition.
  • There are four colors on the wheel in between the two ones in "2", blue being addition. The other three are green, orange and purple, likely representing the other three basic operators in arithmetic.
    • Perhaps there could be a moment later in the series where the letters weaponize this by making the arithmetic machine divide by zero, causing the entire ship to break down.
The numbers have their own verson of the letters' Fusion Dance that allows them to make multi-digit numbers.
  • Assuming 0-9 are the only "main" number characters, being individual symbols like the letters. For example, 1 and 2 could combine to become either 12 or 21. This could also allow the ship's arithmetic machine to create multiple numbers at once, like having it do 4×9 to make 36, who could then split into 3 and 6.
H and/or K will play a role in rescuing X
They seem to be the only letters (aside from B, who has been injured by Two and is likely unable to fly now) capable of flight without the power of a punctuation gem. It's possible one or both of them will stumble upon the mess that was caused by Two, one of the attacked letters will ask for help, and they will go up and find the spaceship.
  • The latter confirmed. K helps to spell BIKE to catch up to the numbers and later saves J from 3. H makes a brief cameo but thus far doesn't contribute to the plot.
The finale will reveal the shape of the Universe.
It's Infinity.
The numbers will convince F to join them
Now that F has once again been abandoned by his only friend and L has destroyed his lair, F's hatred towards the other letters will grow even further and the numbers will use this to their advantage.

It will be revealed that F survived the crash thanks to his question gem, perhaps with a forcefield. N will be overjoyed to see him okay, but feeling hurt and betrayed, F will turn him away. Soon he will merge with an unwilling I and X to FIX the numbers' ship and help them escape with X, unaware that N and a few other letters have snuck onboard.

Further into the arc, F has accepted The Dark Side, with a Darth Vader motif. N will try to convince F not to betray his fellow letters, and F's Heel–Face Turn will be triggered by N being hurt in some way.

The other letters will turn against L
Going by the facial expressions of V and A, it's likely N wasn't the only one who was appalled by L callously throwing the calculator ship straight at F. Also considering P and G befriended them in the epilogue, they probably won't take this well either. The ultimate kicker will be if O of all people decides L has gone too far.
The numbers will multiply using the letters
Now that their machine is broken, they'll need a new way to make new numbers. F will either side with them or they will use his unconscious (or dead) body to spell Four and Five, kidnapping other letters in the process.
Baby g will be mistaken for 9 (and/or vise versa)
Mainly because they have a similar shape. If you've seen Mike Salcedo's 7 eats 9 video, there's a chance 9 could turn out purple...just like g, which raises the stakes even further if 7 gets hungry. This could very well lead to 7 eating 9 by mistake...and liking the taste of numbers, which is why 6 becomes afraid of 7.
How "4" could start off.
  • It's revealed that F somehow survived having the calculator ship thrown at him. After he gets over it, he goes into the ship out of curiousity. F tries to figure out the controls by pressing a bunch of buttons and stuff, causing the ship to somehow start moving again, landing close to where everyone else is. It is here where the numbers break free and retake control of the ship, kidnapping F in the process and using him and X to spell "fix" to fix their ship with 1 in place of I, leaving the actual I to be used as part of the letters' own SHIP made to catch up to the numbers.
  • Alternative but similar prediction: F not only survives the crash, but has activated his Super Mode thanks to his gem. He goes to fight L in retaliation, with N trying in vain to break up their fight, soon leading to F accidentally spelling and creating 4. As the others are occupied battling the new number, 1 convinces F to side with them and, in turn, F agrees to FIX their ship. Upon joining the numbers, F kidnaps N before they make their getaway, ensuring his friend won't leave him again. A group of the remaining letters create their own SHIP and P kisses the Gs goodbye as she departs for the mission, unaware that Baby g has snuck onboard.

F and L will be forced into an Enemy Mine
Assuming F survived and doesn't go down the path of villainy (again), he will first emerge from the wreckage and attack L for destroying his lair. Then somehow the numbers rebuild their ship and begin abducting some other letters For the Evulz, including N and O, to the horror of F and L. The two will initially try to push the blame on each other, until someone else (most fittingly P) breaks up their squabbling. Reluctantly, they agree to put their differences aside to help their friends.

Y will either join forces with, or be revealed to be a friend (or at least an acquaintance) of the Vowel Squad
  • You know, because she's a semi-vowel? Obviously this depends on whether or not she survived her attack from 2, but that's why the latter option is included.
    • If the former, she could join them to help save X, as it seems to be implied they are friends in Alphabet Lore.
U will join F and N
U appears to be the Butt-Monkey among the Vowels, as he is constantly interrupted and the other letters leave him on his own when splitting into groups. Most likely at the end of the arc, U will be abandoned again by his squad and decide to join F and N, the trio spelling FUN as they begin a Dance Party Ending, which eventually draws in some other letters to dance along.
The question mark gem...
  • Will reveal the numbers' backstory, just like it did with F in the last arc. In "4", the gem vibrates, along with the calculator ship, before floating into one of its bubbles (specifically the cracked one).
  • Or it will reveal the events of the old timeline to F, mainly his villainous actions and subsequent death at the hands of N. This will give F a Heel Realization and cause him to join the other letters in the battle against the numbers.
     Other theories
F is made of ink.
  • He's a letter made of some sort of black slime. That actually exists in our world in the form of text written with ink.
If he (and possibly P) had survived, X would have become the Sixth Ranger to the LMNOP Team.
Here are some reasons why:
  • He's the only other letter who actively uses his punctuation gem (excluding F)
  • He has a very Japanese feel to him, fitting with the LMNOP Team's status as a Sailor Senshi Send-Up
  • X is white, and the original Sixth Ranger was the White Ranger.
I and J are siblings, as are F, U, V, W, and Y.
  • I and J are both derived from the Greek iota and F, U, V, W, and Y all share an ancestor in the Greek upsilon.
This world was created through someone writing
  • In real life, we create letters all the time through writing. Perhaps these letters were originally little more than text someone wrote down or typed, but somehow came to life. It's important to note that this series didn't start with a story; the story only really started in "D," and before then it was just "animate letters as characters." Perhaps, in-universe, they also started as this sort of project, then became something more.
L and O were themselves bullied as kids.
  • Some people who become bullies do it because they themselves are bullied (see F, who went WAY beyond "bully" into "murderous kidnapper"). Maybe we'll find out that the only reason L and O were bullies as kids is that, like F, they were also bullied
G has at least some level of Medium Awareness.
  • Notice how he makes the most effort to be comprehensible to a viewer's ear- both by speaking in Morse code and by having his final words to "F" be "GG", which fits as a Pre-Mortem One-Liner. Why would he do that if he wasn't aware he was being watched by people who can't understand him otherwise?
Q and U became best friends at some point in the retconned timeline.
  • With Q no longer having the ? gem, this may make him more carefree and maybe meet U at some point during the time between "nZ" and the beginning of the series. After all, most words with the letter Q need to have a U next to Q to spell a word.
    • Number Lore seems to be forming a Running Gag that U is frequently being talked over, and not allowed to finish speaking before the other vowels move onwards - this will allow U to notice Q, who is also constantly left behind (due to his speed, or lack thereof), and find that he relates him, and the two of them become friends, specifically with U helping Q get to wherever he needs to be.
A, E, I, O, and U become a group in the reconnected timeline.
  • Seeing as LMNOP are a group because of how they are said quickly in the alphabet, it would make sense for the 5-7 vowels to be a group. Now that O no longer has the colon, he would likely be more social, not having to focus on “superhero stuff”. It would also be nice to see W and/or Y as trainees or applying members to the group.
    • Confirmed! While O still has the colon, the vowels seem to be on good terms (aside from A & E butting heads).
In the retconned timeline, F becomes a member (possibly even a founding one) of the LMNOP team.
  • He stays friends with N in this timeline and keeps his punctuation gem. Perhaps, assuming the other letters get over their anger at F and N in this timeline as they grow up, N or F will come up with the idea of a superhero team that uses punctuation gems, create the gems, and seek out letters to give them to and recruit into the team.
  • Jossed. F still holds a grudge on the other letters (especially L and O) and stays behind while N goes to help them. Likewise, L still hates F and goes as far as throwing the number ship straight at him with the possibility of killing him.
F will have an ongoing rivalry with L and possibly O
