A sci-fi strategy rpg set in a post-apocalyptic setting, Ecocalypse follows the protagonist (default name Amy Brown, but can be male or female) as they witness their sister Rayna get sealed into red crystal. Having become an awakener, they must team with various Cases called Kemono Girls in his adventures from various factions as they collects mana from them while enhancing their strength in hopes of not only freeing their sister, but also must seek out the truth and restore the world's order.—Google Play Page
Echocalypse contains examples of the following:
- Animal Motifs: Each Case has an animal motif of some sort, such as Raven having an obvious corvid motif, or Eriri being a bunny girl.
- Barely-There Swimwear:
- Snezhana dons a fabric thin bikini that shows off a great portion of her ample breasts.
- Yora's Snake Charmer attire consists of a black bikini that barely covers her breasts and is potentially backless since some sprites and artwork do not show any fabric for the top aside from the front.
- Anubis's bikini amounts to a thin bikini bottom connected by rings and a strapless bikini top that not only bares both halves of her cleavage, it does not have any fabric that covers her back.
- Blind Seer: Hemetto is a powerful seer, whose eyes were destroyed when she tried to use her powers to divine the fate of the ancient one. Not being dumb, she's decided not to try that again, lest she lose her life.
- Cleavage Window: A handful of the girls wear attires that possess an opening that shows off each one's cleavage such includes Shiyu, Nightingale, Vivi, Iori, etc. The female protagonist can also wear an outfit to show off the cleavage of her ample breasts.
- Corrupt Church: During the trip through the empire, the protagonists have to deal with the corruption of the church, working with the God Eaters, who wish to overthrow it in order to get what they need.
- Covers Always Lie: Rayna only has one older sibling, whose gender the player picks at the start; any artwork showing both the male and female Awakeners is non-canon.
- Exotic Eye Designs: Yora has purple eyes that have darker shading towards the sclera and pink coloring around her verticle pupils.
- Exposed to the Elements: Despite having a set of their battles taken to the snow, a handful of the kemono girls such as Snezhana and Sova during the events where they first meet the protagonist, show no shame in wearing Stripperiffic outfits in the cold weather.
- Handicapped Badass: Nephthys was paralyzed from the waist down by a bomb that nearly killed her, but she is still capable of battle even in her wheelchair, being one of the more powerful Cases in the Nebu Alliance.
- Hand-or-Object Underwear:
- In artwork of Vivi showing her in a tube, she is shown stark naked covering her massive bust with her hands while other portions of her body cover other... secrets.
- In artwork of Aiken bathing in a hot spring, she leans against the side with one of her arms obstructing her bare breasts.
- Happily Adopted: Yora was not Aiken's daughter by blood. She had been adopted by her in the Abyss and speaks positively of her surrogate mother figure.
- Hates Wearing Dresses: When interacted with on the home menu, Taweret, whose two sets of attire amount to basically bikinis, might tell the protagonist that she does not like wearing frilly dresses.
- High Turnover Rate: The longest anyone has stayed Yulia's warden is three months because she has the gift of speech and manipulation; by the end of the three-month mark, she'll either have her warden fall for her or want to kill her. She doesn't care either way because, as her file puts it, every time she breaks one of her "dolls", she gets a new one.
- Horned Humanoid: Those CASEs that have aspects of herbivorous mammals, like Sui and Raeon, or some sort of devil aspect like Nyz, have prominent horns coming out of their heads, showing that they have these aspects.
- Impossibly-Low Neckline:
- Raven dons a black dress that is low enough to show her shoulders.
- Beam dresses in her kimono by letting the neckline plummet underneath her shoulders.
- Intimate Lotion Application: One of the images for the summer event features Snezhana rubbing lotion on Aiken's bare back as the latter blushes brightly.
- Mad Bomber: A rare heroic example with Fenriru, who likes tinkering with bombs and blowing shit up, and even considers explosions the ultimate truth, yet remains firmly on the side of Teslovik.
- Mad Scientist: Pan Pan is absolutely nuts about science, and the Eastrise leadership has actually put several restrictions on her research, lest she goes too far into the mad science realm.
- Navel-Deep Neckline:
- If Kiki's outfit was not revealing enough, the neckline of her outfit extends from her cleavage to past her navel.
- Yora's default attire is shown in some shots to have the cleavage-revealing gap extend over her navel.
- An Offer You Can't Refuse: after escaping Eastrise and the power of the dragon orchid, Teslovik takes refuge in Nebu. There, they're told to search for Nebu's artifact by Horus' messenger Anubis, and if they refuse, they will be declared enemies of the Nebu alliance... While smack dab in the middle of the nation in question. The chapter in question is even helpfully titled "Cannot Refuse."
- Oh, Crap!: Wadjet expressed shock after nearly getting killed by the red crystal Rayna gets sealed in.
- Play-Along Prisoner: Yulia is imprisoned in a luxury prison suite, alone with the warden being her only human contact. However, she implies that she could escape at any time she wanted to. She just has too much fun breaking her wardens to do so.
- Real Men Hate Sugar: Well, Shiyu is female, but cake is primarily listed as one of her dislikes on the official website.
- Scenery Censor: In artwork of Horus bathing in a hot spring, she stands up stark naked with Eriri's ice cream stick and bowl obstructing her privates.
- Sensual Spandex: Mori wears a skintight black jumpsuit that emphasizes her large breasts and adds some titillation by having diamond shaped marks over them.
- Sexy Backless Outfit:
- Starra's outfit amounts to a strapless dress that does not cover her back.
- Pan Pan dresses in a strapless qipao that does not just bare her back, it bares the sides of her upper body.
- Chiraha's strapless dress, when view from the back, is shown to show a lot of her back as well.
- Anubis’s bikini top when she dresses in a bikini only has fabric for the front and no coverage for her backside. Likewise, the design for Yora in her Snake Charmer attire is suggested in some arts and sprites to be this extant of backlessness as well.
- Sexy Silhouette: An easter egg you can find is a picture of Aiken in the shower, in silhouette. The comments section on said easter egg has Aiken denying that she cares, but Fenriru states that her bombs have gone missing after Niz advises against blowing up the dorm where the picture was taken.
- Shameless Fanservice Girl:
- When asked about someone finding her manner of dress being improper when donning her Striking Grace attire, Levia just explains she does not care and proclaims that will always be favored by god.
- Shiyu's Starry Tranquility attire consists of her donning a cocktail dress that bares not just her cleavage, but also her back and Sideboobs, which is more revealing than her default attire and shows no shame in lifting her skirt to show off her underwear. Chiraha has no issue flashing her hers either.
- Beam's "Touch Audio" line has her give a "spicy" remark and suggests to the protagonist they "explore" that feeling more together by going naked. She also has no shame in wearing her off-shoulder kimono in snowy weather.
- Taweret prefers showing off her busty and muscular body with as light clothing as she desires and refuses to don more coverage such as frilly dresses.
- Shoulders-Up Nudity: When Sova is shown bathing in a hot spring, she is shown bathing with the upper half of her bust shown above the water with no visible privates and the only other portion of her naked body shown being from her upper forearms to her head.
- Shout-Out: There are various easter eggs you can find, with shout outs to other media, such as:
- One of the easter eggs you can find is a red and white ball.
- A different easter egg involves a "talking power pole" which has a visible jagged yellow tail sticking out. It's called "the cutest power source in the world." Pikachu has really gotten around, apparently.
- You can find a picture of Snezhana riding a bike through the sky with Eriri sitting on the handlebars, sillhouetted by the moon. Eriri phone home?
- There's an easter egg showing Niz declaring that "Winter is coming." Niz herself comments on it, saying that "such political propoganda should be reduced... that's shameful." in the easter egg's chat, since apparently it was Yulia's idea. Mori, meanwhile, simply says "(Like) (Like) (Like)"
- You can find a smashed-up vending machine as an easter egg, titled "How to get free drinks" with a Gekota mascot lying in front of it. The comment card has Shiyu helpfully saying that "The perpetrator must be one of the seven [level5s].
- You can also find a picture of a robot sinking into molten metal, and giving a thumbs up.
- Sideboob: There are various female fighters who done outfits that bare the sides of their bust such as Garula, Sova, and Snezhana. The female protagonist can don an attire that not only shows how massive her breasts are, but also the sides of them.
- Socially Awkward Hero: Hemetto is stated to have social phobia due to her blindness and exile, but still strives to do the right thing at all times.
- Stripperiffic:
- Kiki's attire amounts to a shirt that only covers her shoulders, arms and collarbone and bares her cleavage, portions of her Sideboob, belly, and legs.
- Levia's default attire is quite revealing in various places such as her cleavage to her Underboobs to her legs. There is a similar attire with differences such as not having coverage for the side or bottom of her bust.
- Anubis has one of the most revealing sets of swimwear where she dons a bikini that not only has a top that bares her cleavage and underboobs, it leaves the entire back of her upper body bare. The same is implied to be the case with Yora's Snake Charmer attire.
- An alternate outfit Nue wears is a revealing qipao that reveals her cleavage down to above her navel, the side of her left breast, shows the left side of her torso with only some strings holding it, and there being no sleeve beneath her right shoulder. The coverage on parts of her body such as her right breast looks like glittered Body Paint.
- Even the female awakener can get on the fun by donning an outfit that not only shows how big her breasts are, but also is revealing in other regards such as her cleavage, Sideboobs, shoulders, and implicitly the back of her upper torso.
- Sultry Belly Dancer: Yarena is a buxom Dance Battler whose attire amounts to an underboob-baring bikini and is adorned with a variety of gold and jewelry.
- Team Mom: Fenriru is one of the superior officers the protagonist had and sees herself as a mother figure to them.
- Toplessness from the Back: Regina's Christmas attire consists of her wearing only a Santa Hat adorned with ribbons and bells, panties, and stockings. She is shoqn from the back as she covers her bare breasts with her arms while she hugs a Christmas Tree. Her battle sprite while wearing the outfit though has her breasts covered with red Christmas Ribbons.
- Underboobs: There are female fighters who wear tops that show the undersides of their bust such as Katch, Yarena, Taweret, and Wadjet. The female protagonist can even don an attire that shows off the lower half of her ample cleavage.
- Winged Humanoid: A few of the bird-based Cases, such as Raven, have wings sprouting out of their backs.
- Workaholic: Nue is apparently utterly dedicated to her work, and only takes breaks when she must.
- World of Action Girls: There are various female fighters who kick butt on both sides of the conflicts and can aid the protagonist in the fight to save the world.
- World of Buxom: The majority of the protagonist's female comrades possess an ample bosom with some exceptions.
- World of Technicolor Hair: The various Kemono Girls have a variety of hair colors and not just realistic ones such as brown and blonde, but also non-real ones such as blue, purple, and green. Sometimes the colors get mixed in.
- You Wanna Get Sued?: One easter egg is an obvious reference to the Pirahna plant, looking just like one carved in red gemstone, with cat ears coming out of a cylinder that looks suspiciously like a warp pipe. Kiki says it best in the comments:Bifrost has messed things up before. Fine. But how dare you mess with a company known for its legal department this time?
