Clay Jam is a Mobile Phone Game that was released on iOS and Android by Fat Pebble on November 29, 2012. The Bully Beasts have stolen all of the clay on 5 islands, and you, the pebble, must bring it back. The game lives up to its name, as it is animated with claymation.

Gameplay is fairly simple: you drag your finger across the screen to make paths for your Pebble to move on. Your goal is to squash as many creatures as you can so you can accumulate clay, which makes you grow bigger and lets you squash larger objects. Clay is also used to buy things, mainly new creatures and sections of an island. There are 2 gamemodes: Pebble's Adventure, which has you navigate up the island while squashing creatures and flicking the pebble into the Bully Beast at the end and contains various quests to complete, after which the Beast will be defeated and turn into a ghost; and Monster Love, an Endless Running Game mode where you have to avoid a fast-moving wall of clay while earning points by squashing sets of 3 different-colored monsters.

A sequel, Play-Doh Jam, was released around 2016, and it contained 3 islands, with the third being unfinished. Unfortunately, both games are not available on the Google Play Store anymore. Clay Jam was unavailable on the App Store for a few years before being brought back in 2021, but its sequel remains missing.

Clay Jam provides examples of:

  • Advancing Wall of Doom: There is a red wall of clay that advances forward which can consume anything in its path in every level, and it gets faster for each island.
  • Animate Inanimate Object:
    • Bung-It-In-Billy is a giant hamburger.
    • Margo is a giant Cartoon Bomb.
    • No Body Nose is a large nose with snot as its feet and legs.
    • The Sausage Beasts are, well... sausages.
    • Ringos are living donuts.
    • The Party Onion is a living onion with a party horn.
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: A few of the Bully Beasts are large versions of normal objects.
  • Big Bad: The Bully Beasts. They steal the islands' clay, and it's up to the pebble to stop them.
  • Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: Each island's creatures come in 3 different colors, with each color affecting how much clay a creature gives when squashed. For example, in Beardy's Bluff, blue creatures give the least clay, red creatures give the most, and green creatures give an amount in between.
  • Cyclops: Plipa is a single-eyed creature on two legs.
  • Destructive Saviour: To restore the islands back to their original states, you must gather clay, which is obtained by squashing creatures and other objects. They come back after each level, though.
  • A Dog Named "Dog": The Washing Machine creature is a washing machine, hence the name.
  • For the Evulz: No reasoning is given for the Bully Beasts stealing the clay from the islands; they just did it because they could.
  • The Goomba: Rascals. They're the only creatures you can squash without clay, and they're the first to appear on every island. Love Bugs fit the same role in previous February updates.
  • Level Ate: Mount Gobble's main theme is food, specifically fast food.
  • Punny Name: The name of No Body Nose, a giant walking nose, is a pun on the phrase "nobody knows".
  • Stop Motion: The game is animated using claymation.
  • Underground Monkey: The Tickety Bob appears in every other island with a different name and color scheme, such as Tick Tuck for Mount Gobble, where its colors are blue, yellow, and purple.
  • Valentine's Day Episode: Before the game stopped being updated, every February would change up some aspects of the islands, namely changing the Rascals to Love Bugs, which are two creatures in love with each other.
  • Weird Currency: The currency in this game is clay, which is obtained by squashing things with the pebble.
