- Asshole Victim: Most of the targets are very evil, or at least unpleasant people.
- Kick the Dog: Sometimes, people are killed for the pettiest reasons, or for trying to stop the bad guys. Jake and Tyler are uncaring about who they kill, even if their victim doesn't deserve it.
- Villain Protagonist: Jake and Tyler have some standards, but they're still amoral criminals.

- The same game has Grandpa as a target.
- Would Hit a Girl:
- The first mission in Clear Vision Classic 2 is a crazy ex-wife that stalks her ex-husband, and you have no problem in shooting her in the head.
- In "Dockyard menace" of Clear Vision 1, the ex-boyfriend who beats up his ex-girlfriend.
- The rival assassin in "???" of Clear Vision 2 tried to suffocate Tyler's wife to death when Tyler came to kill him, only failing because of Tyler's haste.
- Would Hurt a Child: A drug dealer of Clear Vision 3 Act 2 who sells drugs to children.
