Tidings, fellow troper.
To start this gratuitius self promotion: I came by the TV Tropes site by sheer accident and was glad for it. The Art of Gamemastering has much to gain from this Fountain of Knowledge and I intend to take many invigorating & satisfying gulps from these waters.
To describe myself I'd say I'm a Chaotic Good, Snark Knight. So keep in mind that Good Is Not Nice, also expect Brutal Honesty. Often The Smart Guy and nurtures an Übermensch mentality with a plethora of impossibly high standards for oneself. I'm on the cynical side of the Sliding Scale of Idealism Versus Cynicism, but I'm more of a realist than a bitter sulker. It propably comes as no surprise that I'm an atheist. I'm an avid follower of the Rule of Cool on personal attire & grooming. Currently I own a brown leather longcoat and planning on getting a bowler hat. In the grooming section I usually sport a goatee, short chestnut brown hair, green eyes and a pair of round 19th century-esque eyeglasses.
I enjoy many and varied things, but Steampunk is of particular interest, as is Fantasy & Science-fiction. I'm somewhat nerdy as can be gathered, tho I'm about 170 cm tall and weight some 60 kg so I don't particulary tie in to the "fat nerd" cliché. The really weird thing is...I'm a freaking glutton. Tea, bread, candy, chips, coffee, cake, fruit and I'm still under 60 kg. It's a blessing and a curse.
If a trope mentions a Fetish Fuel possibility, I'm silently on that boat 80% of the time. Make of that what you will...my real fetish is a good storyline and well thought out characters in any story or tale.
