To get an idea about how inspirational it was, the SpaceBattles.com forum thread hosting the fic as of December 2023 clocks in at almost 1200 pages worth of comments and reactions, with the main fic's Recursive Fanfiction marked under the "Apocrypha" threadmark clocking in around 400 stories of various length.
- Meaningful Release Date: Chapter 29 "Moonlight Battlefield Part 4" has Tangle and Whisper undergo a Relationship Upgrade while Bunnie and Antoine start their own relationship anew. The chapter is released less than a week after Valentine's Day.
- Serendipity Writes the Plot: Due to TheInfamousMan not properly checking the source material in advance, Julie-Su in her introduction was depicted as still having her blaster, when it actually had been left behind when Thrash imprisoned her. This continuity error was covered up with a flashback in Chapter 17 showing her making a spare blaster beforehand, and used this to emphasize her Parting-Words Regret concerning the Chaotix.
