- Chapter 9:
- Mina says that when the Super Genesis Wave hit, she and by extension the rest of New Mobotropolis heard the screams of everyone in the worlds that the wave wiped out. They all heard the screaming of trillions, at minimum, of men, women, and children who stopped existing before temporarily going blind and deaf.
- After listening to an undetermined number of the Egg Memos left by Pre-Reboot Eggman/Robo-Robotnik (and learning about his Pre-Reboot self), Metal Sonic destroys the remains of the Death Egg II in a rage. But not before downloading the schematics for said Death Egg, new Badniks, Legionization, and the Egg Grapes. The thought of that tech being introduced to the IDW verse so soon after the Metal Virus is frankly terrifying.
- Chapter 17:
- Julie-Su’s Freak Out is downright disturbing to read, because she doesn’t devolve into a violent episode right away. She just calmly and tonelessly states that Knuckles and Sonic were trying to find them before muttering her denials to Jewel’s news that they didn’t know who she was. Saffron and the Chaotix notice that something’s wrong and when Vector tries to put his hand on her shoulder, the echidna reaches for her gun to shoot him before Espio takes it away from her in the nick of time. Julie-Su is reduced to a screaming half-mad wreck when Saffron knocks her down in an attempt to restrain and calm her down before the echidna punches her, and its only thanks to that act that Julie-Su is able to snap out of it.
- Chapter 20
- Everything about the Super Genesis Wave and what Jules experienced during it. First it starts with Bernadette and everyone but Jules going blind by the flash of white light, the screams of the people dying across the Multiverse, the colors of reality draining and shifting, and then The End speaks…
- Its revealed that during when Naugus and Mogul’s spell saved New Mobotropolis from being erased by the initial Genesis Wave, it caught the attention of The End... which seems particularly focused on the Acorn family.
