Electrifying characters and items in Webcomics.

- Ben of Breakpoint City can shoot electricity from his hands.
- In Champions of Far'aus, lightning magic is a subtype of Air magic. The shadow beast is shown to be able to use it’s lighting powers to create a taser-like effect, and Catharine’s spear has a lightning enchantment.

- The titular Crankrats were mortally wounded soldiers (and one kid injured in an air ride) patched up with contraptions that made them sort of a steampunk Iron Men with power of lightning on their fingertips. Most of them went Psycho Electro and had to be disposed of. Who would have foreseen this...
- The Maestro in Dominic Deegan is the comic's foremost electromancer. He's also twitchy and speaks with a "bzzt" Verbal Tic, both of which are side effects of all that exposure to electricity.

- This is Lightning's natural superpower in Sidekicks.
- Sleepless Domain: It's mentioned that the magical girl Pop Blitz has "zappy powers" that she's still getting a handle on. When Undine is looking for a new team to join, this is part of the reason that Team Blitz has to turn her down — they'd love to have her, but her water powers and Pop Blitz's barely-controlled electricity would make for a poor combination.
- Sakido from Slightly Damned has enough lightning for a pack of demons when she's mad. Which is almost always.
- Ruby from Special School has this power, but she can't control it as much as she wants.
- Sharon Curon of Thunderstruck. At first, it looked like she simply could absorb electricity and turn it into super strength. Some training and a bout of Grand Theft Me showed there was much more to her power, including the ability to zap people like an electric eel.
- Tower of God:
- Lero-Ro is capable of doing this since he is a Lightning Usernote . His facial markings are proof of this (and also references Pokémon). In fact, anyone that has passed the test to become a Lightning User can wield electricity.
- The Shinsu that Khun Edahn controls is said to be very fast and to possess tremendous electrical power.
- Certain members of the Khun Family are naturally capable of wielding electricity. Khun Maschenny Jahad is famous for her Lightning Spear techniques and Khun Ran has shown the ability to use them as well.
