• King Candy adopted all the Sugar Rush racers. Ralph adopted Vanellope after Candy was arrested, and Shank is her birth mother. Felix and Calhoun also adopted the rest of the Sugar Rush racers.
• Randal was Boo's Lecherous Stepparent, and Sulley has now adopted her.
• Peter Pan is Captain Hook's son, and is fostered by Tinkerbell's family, then Wendy's.
• Mr. Prenderghast, Agatha, and Norman's mother are siblings.

The Diamond Authority are/were sisters (Pink/Rose is dead). The Famethyst and Lace Amethyst are all Jasper's and Amethyst's siblings, and Holly Blue Agate is their mother. Jasper is the intersex sperm donor for Malachite and Zebra Jasper, the daughters of Lapis and Ocean Jasper respectively. Lapis is the daughter of Peridot and Andy DeMayo, and Nice Lapis and Mean Lapis are her half-sisters on Andy's side. A little girl whom Jasper shouts at is implied to be Lemon Jade, accompanied by two women who are presumably her canonical component Jades and are implied to be her mothers here. Eyeball is Aquamarine's abusive mother and the Topazes adopted Aquamarine when she was taken away; Bluebird Azurite is Aquamarine's alternate personality that resulted from the abuse.

The trainer from Bidoof's Big Stand is Lucario's sibling and the Staraptor and Starly from the same short are Bidoof's mother and siblings. Avery and Bede are twins, as are Marnie and Klara. The Eeveelutions from Eevee & Friends are a family of siblings, and Umbreon and Espeon from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon are the children of two of them. Valerie, the Kimono Girls, the Furisode Girls, and the Eevee Brothers are at least some of Umbreon's various children and grandchildren, specifics not stated.
• Luke officially adopted Rey after her previous foster father, Unkar Plutt, was arrested. Ben Solo is the nephew of Snoke, who sexually abused him according to the "Coming Out" side story. Palpatine was the father of Anakin and Supreme Leader Snoke along with Rey's father.

The inversion is played with with Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup in that, while they're all still sisters like in canon, they were all adopted from different orphanages rather than being born from the same experiment.
