Again, just because the entire AU is about a rape survivor group doesn’t mean there’s not some awesomeness sprinkled in.
- Props go to Kuzco especially…after spending two years in a sex ring, he finally manages to get out by stealing a fucking gun. Mad respect.
- He also deserves props for at least being willing to forgo escaping if it meant leaving Minty behind (even though she talked him out of it) and rescuing her from said sex ring is his main motivation for staying in America until it's brought down.
- Panchito also gets one when he gets a hold of a cultist's phone he contacts Donald, who in turn contacts the police.
- Donald himself gets one for staying in a calm enough state of mind to help rescue his friend.
- Panchito gets another when he retrains himself to shoot with his left hand so he can interrogate the man who got the cult to come after him, so he can help hunt the cult down.
- Also after languishing for years in an abusive marriage, the Bride hears her wife threatening to sell her into sex slavery, prompting her to finally pull a Screw This, I'm Outta Here by escaping in the middle of the night.
- Also Merida’s parents deserve some credit by immediately figuring out their daughter was having a bad reaction to whatever was slipped in her drink, getting her to the hospital in time to save her life.
- Props to Miguel as well…he managed to fake passing out and escaped not only the trafficking ring, but the cult as well!
- As of Tulio and Ginger's chapter, the Ark's downfall has begun. It's clear it's going to take a while but the pieces are in place.
- Margo's Big Sister Instinct is on full display throughout Gru, Edith and Agnes' story and her actions are the only reason they're currently safe with Gru.
- Vixy has managed what many adults have trouble with. While she still struggles with the damage Hans' assault on her has caused, she places the blame firmly and completely on him for manipulating her.
- Hiccup is determined to testify about his assault to put his assailants behind bars for good; he's not looking forward to having to rebuild his life again or his loved ones finding out what happened but he's bound and determined to make them pay for what they did, not just to him but everyone they hurt.
- While it ended up causing more trouble, Fenton calling Mark out for peppering everything he said to his employee with Spanish just because Fenton is Latino by greeting the African-American Mark in Swahili was pretty awesome.
- Rita shows herself to have strong character; despite being a wanted thief, she takes Roddy home after finding him at Toad's, follows him to America when his paranoia causes him to leave the UK and even found the Palace for him.
- Despite spending her childhood constantly hearing racist, sexist and homophobic dogma, Wendy is none of those things.
- While Link's arrival wasn't in time to prevent Lionel's assault, it was in time to save his life and given that Link outshot a professional hitman, that's very impressive, even if it was mostly adrenaline.
- Chel's Sherlock Scan allows her to see Glomgold as a potential ally, leading her to sneak herself and Koda out while he's visiting and through her own cleverness, Glomgold's resources and Denahi's insistence, Kenai is rescued as well.
- Despite his trauma, Huan was able to tell his story to his father and grandmother, both of whom go to Lin and kickstart a massive investigation into the police force of the whole county, uncovering corruption and hopefully getting justice for those hurt by the rot in law enforcement.
- Danny managed to defend himself in court quite well, even prodding Darla into confessing to the Frame-Up.
- Basil managed to find the evidence that Danny was innocent and helped him bring down Darla for good.
- Dr. Flug gets two particularly awesome moments in his story.
- Flug is one of the few people to successfully threaten Ratigan with legal action. He hacks into Ratigan's computer and finds evidence of his involvement with the Ark, then blackmails him into giving Flug money and baby supplies. Ratigan, usually so cocky that nobody would ever get him in trouble, is left speechless at Flug's confidence.
- Dr. Flug takes Black Hat's treatment of him without a fight... until he realizes that Black Hat is also molesting 505 (here his human son). Flug then douses the bastard in gasoline and sets him on fire.
- While it ends very poorly for him, Duncan's first reaction when he learns about what Courtney's attackers did to her? Beat the ever loving shit out of them.
- It's minor (and actually is part of his problems during his story), but Horton takes a very mature approach to teaching the kids who are in his camp. He makes sure that they know that just about any adult can hurt or rape them and that they should never be afraid to fight back, even if it's their parents.
- Villainous example: The "Rigby" onstage is actually Doug, who managed to prevent anyone from realizing he's replaced Rigby. And he manages to quickly derail Mordecai's suspicions when Doug pats him on the back comfortingly, something the real Rigby would never do. However, Mordecai ultimately gets an awesome moment of his own when he notices that Doug isn't Rigby because he didn't finish a burrito like Rigby always could, and turns him into the police.
- In the Encanto chapter, Isabela and Bruno are revealed to have been secretly working together with Bubo to rescue Ark victims and are doing a rather impressive job, considering that neither have been caught yet in spite of there being an Ark spy in the Palace. Doubly awesome for Bruno, considering he was imprisoned by the Ark in the first place. Also, after Bruno and Isabela save Mirabel from the Ark, she reams out Alma and the Palace for ostracizing her over her NPD and for not noticing she had been taken.
- Leni notices her kidnapper didn't lock the door and uses the opportunity to escape, smashing the windows to get out of the house, using a leftover shard to break off her tracking bracelet. Even though she had forgotten it was a tracker and just wanted to get his "gift" off her, that proved to be a clever, life-saving move for a girl everyone assumes is dumb.
- Skipper manages to rescue herself and Chelsea when GWF attacks them by getting ahold of Jake's gun and taking control of the car.
- While naturally traumatized and upset by what God's Will First did to Sam and forcing her to watch, Kate managed to move on with her life and did her best to provide a good life for Nick. When God's Will First gets him, Kate proceeds to kill Trout and as many other members as she can find before paying off Finnick to ensure she gets away with it.
- After getting locked in a burning building by the remnants of GWF, Coraline jumps from an upper story window to escape. From the same chapter, Rita turns the tables on Eben Hardwick by stealing his gun before he can attack her.
- As he's tending to Mr. Wolf, Kekata goes full First-Person Smartass, snarking about how incompetent and useless all the cops are, and when he realizes that the cop guarding the room basically just let the assault happen because it wasn't their job, he tells them to Get Out!, telling him that in no certain terms, he's useless.
- Dulcinea successfully helps Cleo deliver her premature baby, ensuring the survival of both for the time. And after the whole ordeal, Kitty Softpaws slaps Cleo's father (who turns out to be Baltazar, one of Dulcinea's sons) and curses him out for making Cleo go through with her pregnancy.
- After Roman gets arrested protecting her, Neo disguises herself as a police officer, walks into the prison and walks out with Roman with no one the wiser until both are free. While she was too late to stop him from getting assaulted, the fact that Neo managed to pull it off was certainly impressive.
- In one chapter of "From the Mouth of Babes", when Angelica asks why everyone is being so mean to Mirabel and Doug tries to claim she's a bad person because of her NDP, Geumsaegi hits him with an Armor-Piercing Response-he wants proof Mirabel is a bad person outside of the fact she has NDP. Doug can't come up with a response.
