All while the lawyers of Marvel Comics follow them, reminding them that the unauthorized use of those characters and their likeness is a crime.

    Western Animation

  • South Park: In "Fishsticks", Cartman's warped recollection of coming up with the titular joke involves him becoming the Human Torch and righting an army of robotic Jews.
  • The Venture Bros.: Professor Richard Impossible is basically Reed Richards with few to zero morals. All the other expies of the team got worse powers; his wife Sally has to use all her concentration to keep her skin visible (making for a pretty gross sight if she loses said concentration), and her brother and cousin lack the Required Secondary Powers to keep their powers from hurting themselves — and to top it off, the former spends most of his time in a stasis chamber because contact with oxygen causes him to catch fire. As a result, Richard kept them locked up so they wouldn't embarrass him.
