Gumball and Darwin get hooked on watching ElmoreStreamIt (the show's version of YouTube) and viewers get a look at the different viral videos the residents of Elmore have uploaded on the Internet.
Tropes:
- Body Horror: Mr. Small's yoga video starts off relatively normal... until the CD gets stuck repeating "Breathe out", causing Mr. Small to continue exhaling until his body literally turns inside out. Gumball's reaction says it all:
- Gumball: I'll need to bleach my eyeballs after that. (reports the video)
- Brain Bleach: After seeing Mr. Small's yoga video and the Body Horror that results, Gumball says he's going to need some Brain Bleach and starts searching for videos of cute things. Darwin also comments how horribly traumatized he was as well.
- Broken Record: As Mr. Small does a yoga video, this happens when the record keeps skipping to "Breathe Out" which makes Mr. Small to breathe his body inside-out! Gumball justifiably reports the video.
- The Cameo:
- Rob/Dr. Wrecker appears for a few seconds when his video W.R.E.C.K.T.R.E. plays and he only says "Revenge!".
- During the montage of bizarre videos near the end of the episode, one of the videos shows a woman teaching her dog to fetch and ends up getting dragged behind him on his leash. The dog is actually show creator Ben Bocquelet's pet dog, Woody.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: Darwin trying to stop Gumball from wasting his time with Internet videos plays out initially like someone trying to stop a drug addict from getting his next fix and then someone trying to stop a suicidal person from killing himself.
- Epic Fail: Hector posts an "Epic Fail" video of a blue fat man (Pantsbully) tripping himself and causing a trash can to tip over, which doesn't seem that epic. Hector at least thought it was, as he laughed and looked into the camera... while a plane comes behind him and hit him in the head.Gumball: That's the first of one of those I've seen that was actually epic.
- Expy: The Saxophone Chihuahua seems to be the ElmoreStream equivalent of the Rickroll.Gumball: ARGGHH! Trolled.
- Game-Breaking Bug: In-Universe, Richard thinks that it's a bug that dividing by zero in the calculator "game" causes his computer to explode.
- Homage: Banana Joe's video is an homage to "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off", just singing about the pronunciation of "banana".
- One-Man Band: Mr. Corneille has a video of him playing a cello and a kazoo at the same time.
- Rage Breaking Point: William finally succeeded in turning his test paper over after a minute of failing to do so. Then Teri remembers she was supposed to do that for him and flips it back to face down. William snaps and his psychic powers wreck the classroom and the camera.
- Reality-Breaking Paradox: As discovered by Richard, dividing by zero on a computer's calculator function will cause the computer to physically explode.
- Running Gag: Throughout the episode, Gumball and Darwin keep getting Rickrolled by the Saxophone Chihuahua video.
- She Cleans Up Nicely: Parodied with Sussie's video: she gives very terrible instructions at applying makeup, then suddenly looks like a gorgeous live-action woman (played by Maisy Wilgoss with Fergus Craig's voice dubbed over).
- Stop Poking Me!: Gumball annoying clicks all over an advertisement, hoping to speed it up faster and let them skip it. Every click resulted in some response from the man, until he finally has enough and tell them they can skip the video now.
- Surreal Humor: Since this episode spoofs Internet videos, this comes up later on.
- You Are Grounded!: Harold grounds Tobias after the prank he did for his video makes him think his house was being invaded.
