While Kim celebrates Christmas with the family, Ron confronts Dr. Drakken. It doesn't go well for either of them, and they find themselves stranded at the North Pole. The two end up bonding over their shared dismay about the cancellation of "Snowman Hank", while Kim (family in tow) and Shego come looking for them.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Drakken goes from attacking Ron for a half eaten chicken leg to begging for it.
Drakken: Name your price, Stoppable! Power? Glory? When I take over the world, you can have a continent! Any continent! (pause) Not Europe.
  • Angrish: Played with — Drakken's rant about how he imagines Kim spending the holiday sounds like gibberish...unless you recognize the Shout-Out:
Drakken: Because it is Christmas! The one time of the year she is off-duty. Busy with her twinkle-lights and mistletoe, and carols, and roast beast, and frim-franglers, and zoob-zooblers...
Shego: Whoa, whoa, whoa, Dr. D!
    Drakken: What?
    Shego: You've stopped using words.
  • An Ass-Kicking Christmas: Kim and Shego get into one of their usual fights when they run into each other, until Drakken declares a holiday truce.
  • Bears Are Bad News: Ron and Drakken narrowly avoid being attacked by a huge polar bear.
  • Benevolent Boss: Shego finds out that Drakken is paying all the expenses for her vacation. This makes her regret not taking his call, so she checks to see if he left a message and then goes off to rescue him when she finds out that he's stuck at the North Pole.
  • Big Damn Heroes: The Possibles arrive just in time to save Kim from an anaconda.
  • Big Finale Crowd Song: The episode ends with Drakken, Shego, Ron, and the whole Possible family singing “A Ringlin’ Jinglin’ Christmas”.
  • Big "NO!": Ron let out a doozy when he learned that Snowman Hank had been cancelled. It was so piercing that it broke several Christmas light bulbs before causing all the power in the Possibles’ house to go out.
  • Busman's Holiday:
    • Drakken and Ron getting stranded in the Arctic force Kim to spend Christmas Eve doing the exact opposite of what Ron wanted by having to fly all over the world looking for him. Shego similarly ends her vacation early to save Drakken upon learning of him paying for it.
    • On a smaller scale, the postman who delivers the new Kimmunicator to Kim complains about having to work even during the holidays.
  • Chekhov's Armory: In spite of being a standalone episode, several details actually come into play: the Snowmam Hank program (and the fact that it was cancelled), the Extreme Xmas show that replaced it, and the tweebs' interest in the latter show. Even a minor detail like Ron accidentally wrecking the Kimmunicator during his scuffle with Drakken becomes important, since it necessitates Wade sending Kim a new one to alert her of the situation.
  • Christmas Episode: Naturally.
  • Christmas Special: Ron and Drakken bond over their favorite Christmas special being canceled.
  • Expospeak Gag:
Drakken: The garbage, it’s jettisoned in an impact resistant container!
    Ron: Oh! ….What?
Drakken: It’s an escape pod filled with garbage.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus:
    • The digital scrapbook Kim gave to Ron has some pictures from past episodes, including the Halloween Episode flashback of Kim and Ron as a cowboy and ballerina, respectively.
    • The "Keep Out - Haunted!" sign at the base of Drakken's main lair has been swapped out for one saying "Bah Humbug".
  • Holiday Ceasefire: The episode plays with this; both Kim and Shego take the holiday off, but Drakken has no qualms about launching a new evil scheme, causing Ron to try taking him on solo. Ultimately the two of them wind up crash-landing at the North Pole, are forced to cooperate to survive, and when they're found and rescued Drakken announces a formal truce after all.
Drakken: Of course, once we enter the new year, the truce is over. I’m going to open a bag of freak on all of you!
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Realizing his Christmas present for Kim is underwhelming (especially compared to what she gave to him), Ron gives her a different one: Kim really treasures spending the holidays with her family, so Ron decides to not tell her of their new mission; he will tackle it on his own.
  • Luck-Based Search Technique: Ron is about to scale up the side of Drakken’s lair with suction cups, when the part of the wall he’s attached to swings inward to reveal the front door.
  • Merry Christmas in Gotham: This episode is lighthearted even by Kim Possible standards, and it ends with Drakken declaring a Christmas truce (while warning that business as usual will resume in the new year).
  • Over-the-Top Christmas Decorations: The episode opens with the Possibles donning goggles before activating an extensive array of lights with a Big Electric Switch. The Tweebs mention that they'd modified the Middleton power grid so it wouldn't blow out like it did last time. Ron stumbles in, blinded by the display.
  • Ow, My Body Part!: While tussling with Drakken, Ron yells “Ow, my eyebrow!”.
  • Repeat What You Just Said: During Ron and Drakken's fight on DrakForce One, the computer made several announcements, ending with the self destruct sequence, and bed time sequence, where it revealed a teddy bear with a Drakken-scar. When Ron called attention to what the computer said, Drakken tried to hide the teddy bear and pretend he didn't know what Ron meant, before Ron said he meant the one before that.
  • Rhetorical Question Blunder: After Ron and Drakken crash-land and blame each other for their predicament:
Ron: What? I'm supposed to let you take over the world?
Drakken: In the spirit of the season, yes!
  • Save the Villain: Inverted, Drakken saves Ron from the Polar bear, and this is before the two declare a truce.
  • Saving Christmas: Ron decides to foil Dr. Drakken's latest scheme on his own rather than interrupt Kim's holiday celebration.
  • Self-Destruct Mechanism: While wrestling around the ship, Drakken and Ron accidentally set off its self-destruct button.
  • Shiny New Australia: Drakken tries to get Ron to give up the half-eaten chicken leg he finds in the trash pod:
Drakken: Name your price, Stoppable! Power? Glory? When I take over the world, you can have a continent! Any continent! (pause) Not Europe.
  • Shipper on Deck: Drakken pulling Kim and Ron together under the mistletoe, and Rufus gushing at the ensuing kiss.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Snakes Are Sinister: A giant anaconda attacks Kim while she’s looking for Ron in the Amazon.
  • "Shut Up" Kiss: Kim does this to Ron, when they standing under the "mistletoe".
  • Snowball Fight: Ron and Drakken childishly start one with each other upon landing in the Arctic.
  • Squeaky Eyes: Drakken audibly blinks twice at Ron in amazement when he quotes Snowman Hank.
  • Super Cell Reception: Drakken's cell phone can make calls from the North Pole. Unfortunately, Shego isn't picking up.
  • Tears of Joy: Ron tears up when Kim gives him a virtual scrapbook of pictures of them.
  • Trash Landing: Ron and Drakken escape from imminent doom by climbing into the garbage disposal pod and ejecting it just before DrakForce One goes boom.
  • Travel Montage: Of Kim going to the different places the escape pods landed in to try to find Ron.
  • Under the Mistletoe: Kim ends up kissing Ron on the cheek under a makeshift mistletoe—it was actually a piece of parsley that Ron found in the garbage and Drakken tied a red ribbon around it.
  • Wimp Fight: Ron and Drakken end up fighting without their partners (Kim is home with her family; Shego is at the beach). They end up accidentally launching themselves on "DrakForce One", ejecting the escape pods, and triggering the Self-Destruct Mechanism.
