HBO Max release date: 3/17/2022 (produced in 2021)

Couch Gag - Speed Buggy.

The Brave Little Daddy

  • Continuity Nod: The orchestra from "A Town Video" is shown again, with the same members.
  • Dirty Kid: Shag rather unapologetically flirts with Wally Gator of all people. His own mother describes him as "garbage".
  • Giant Food: Mildew Wolf inexplicably happens to have a giant peeled banana for Grape Ape to eat. Multiple times.
  • Go to Your Room!: Doggie Daddy tries to punish Grape Ape by telling him to go to his room.
  • Got Volunteered: Doggie Daddy is volunteered to discipline Grape Ape. He really doesn't want to, but he does so anyways to maintain his image as a hero.
  • Grew a Spine: Contrary to how he treats Augie, Doggie Daddy actually disciplines Grape Ape. Harshly.
  • Harmful to Minors: When Doggie Daddy attempts to hug Grape Ape, Huck puts a blindfold around Augie's face, saying that she should not see this.
  • Holding Hands: Jinks and Huck hold hands in fear.
  • Hungry Menace: The plot kicks off when, to everyone's panic, Grape Ape emerges from beneath the sea with a Growling Gut and proceeds to tear up the town in search of food.
  • Insert Song: The citizens sing a song praising Doggie Daddy.
  • Lack of Empathy: As pointed out by Augie, Grape Ape has zero empathy for the Jellystonians. All he does is take their food.
  • Likes Older Men: Implied with Shag. He is briefly shown boasting about how he's single while checking out Wally Gator.
  • Manchild: It is revealed that Grape Ape has the mind of a toddler.
  • Piggyback Cute: Jinks gives Huck a piggyback ride. It's really adorable, especially when Huck says "Downsies, please".
  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: To The Brave Little Toaster.
  • Pushover Parents: Doggie Daddy has never disciplined Augie for anything and he tries the same methods with Grape Ape, which predictably wind up failing. It's justified for Augie as she's very well behaved and never does anything that merits Doggie Daddy being more stern, which he points out.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Augie Doggie gives one to Grape Ape.
Augie: Hey, You! You think is funny? Yeah, I'm talking to you, bubble gum butt! Where do you get off? You think hurting my daddy is cool, after you selfishly ravaged the whole town? You oughta be ashamed of yourself. People worked hard for that food, and you just come in and steal it! Have you ever thought about their feelings? No. You haven't. You deserve to stay hungry if your only solution is to take, take, take, take, take. You can come back into town when you've learned about empathy, and what it means to not be a big jerk! So go to your room under the ocean! (Haughty "Hmph")
  • Record Needle Scratch: One is heard when the orchestra suddenly stops.
  • Squashed Flat: Doggie Daddy is repeatedly squashed flat by Grape Ape.
  • Still Sucks Thumb: As he has the mind of a toddler, Grape Ape is shown to suck his thumb.
  • This Billboard Needs Some Salt: Grape Ape eats a lot of giant food displays, apparently not realizing or caring that they're not real.
  • Wingding Eyes: Grape Ape gets banana eyes when he sees the comically large banana.

The Big Stink

  • A Day in the Limelight: For Mildew Wolf. Although Yogi and Daddy also star, this episode gives Mildew the most focus thus far.
  • Applied Phlebotinum: The Jellystone Stink Factory runs on a stink reactor, powered by a tesseract looking growing green cube.
  • Archive Binge: In-universe Augie and Daddy sat through 5,069 episodes of Scooby-Doo.
  • Bait-and-Switch Comment: Mildew says that Captain Caveman is hot, then reveals that 'hot' in this context means that he's the Head Engineer of Hatch Opening Technology.
  • Black Comedy Rape: At the end of the episode, Jabberjaw somehow ends up in the heroes' containment area. She threatens to kiss them with a lecherous, creepy look on her face.
  • Born Unlucky: Mildew laments and lampshades how unlucky he is. When it looks like he lucked out by a falling piano missing him, twice, he laments that they were his pianos.
  • Brown Note: The smell was so bad, it made almost everyone in Jellystone pass out.
  • Chekhov's Gun: Yogi's paper airplane. It flew into the Stink Factory and knocked Mildew over, causing him to set off the stink.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Mildew stands out for showing a lot of courage, nearly risking his life trying to end the stink that he caused.
  • Fun with Acronyms: Captain Caveman is the Head Engineer of Hatch Opening Technology.
  • Inventional Wisdom: Jellystone has a stink factory for some reason. It going haywire covers the entire town with noxious stink clouds.
  • It's All My Fault: At the climax, Mildew admits the stink reactor going critical was his fault for falling into it. Yogi notices his paper airplane and believes it's his fault it ended up knocking Mildew into the reactor. Then Doggie remembers that he was the one that found Yogi's airplane on the ground and threw it again.
  • Mythology Gag: Huckleberry mentions New Bedrock.
  • No-Sell: Yogi, Mildew, and Doggie Daddy are all unaffected by the stink.
  • Older Than They Look: Mildew reveals that he lost his sense of smell in a war, which suggests that he's way older than he looks.
  • Piano Drop: Both of Mildew's pianos drop on the ground and get broken.
  • Running Gag: Jabberjaw, with her nostrils plugged, attempting to kiss everyone.
  • Scenery Censor: At the end of the episode, our three heroes are contained for two months because of how awful they smell. They are all naked, but their privates are covered by stink clouds.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: Mildew repeatedly denies having anything to do with the stink. Eventually, it is revealed that he was indirectly responsible for the stink.
  • Toilet Humor: This episode is full of farting humor.
  • Visible Odor: The smell is visibly green.
