iKiss is the 8th episode in the 2nd season of iCarly.
When Freddie confesses that he's never had his first kiss, Sam reveals the secret on iCarly, which humiliates him.
Meanwhile, Carly helps Spencer train for football tryouts.

- Armor-Piercing Response: After Carly gives Sam a "Reason You Suck" Speech just before they're going live, Sam grumpily asks how she's supposed to do the show after hearing all that. Carly snarkily responds she can figure it out like she always does. This actually stuns Sam.
- The Big Damn Kiss: Sam and Freddie's kiss near the end.
- Big "NO!": In the Kelly Cooper: Terrible Movie trailer, this was Kelly's (Carly) reaction when Natalie (Sam) tells her she will never fit in with the popular crowd.
- Call-Back: When Carly challenges Freddie's claim that he's never kissed anyone, she cites Valerie from "iWill Date Freddie" as someone he probably kissed. Freddie admits that yes, that's true, but she was the one who kissed him, and it only happened for a split second.
- Cassandra Truth: When Freddie admits that he's never kissed anyone before, Carly thinks he's just making it up. But then she realizes that he's sincere. When Sam confesses to the same thing on the show, Carly initially believes she made it up to stop the bullying Freddie's dealing with.
- "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: This lies on both Freddie and Sam.
- If Freddie had taken his and Carly's conversation about kissing somebody out of Sam's view, Sam wouldn't have overheard the conversation and used his confession against him.
- Sam, meanwhile, wouldn't have made Freddie's life horrible if she had just chosen to hold her tongue and not blurt out Freddie's confession to possibly the entire world's population online.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Because Freddie handcuffed her to Gibby, Sam retaliates by revealing to the whole world on iCarly that he has never kissed a girl, shocking Freddie and even Carly.
- The Dog Bites Back: Zigzagged between Freddie and Sam.
- After Sam put a foul fish in Freddie's locker and harassed him for several years, Freddie decides to handcuff her to Gibby as payback.
- Sam then gets back at Freddie by telling everyone watching the iCarly webcast that he hasn't kissed anyone. However, it's subverted by her blurting out the fact to the whole world because she had mentally broken Freddie and gotten called out by Carly for hurting his feelings, to which she is left with absolutely nothing but guilt.
- Dramatic Drop: After Sam and Carly leave when the former reveals on the webshow that Freddie's never kissed a girl, Freddie, in shocked disbelief, drops the camera he was holding to the ground.
- Exact Eavesdropping: Freddie makes Carly promise that she won't reveal to anyone that he's never kissed anyone, especially not to Sam. However, Sam herself is around the corner and happens to overhear, and so she decides to use that as her revenge plan, which also causes Carly to give her a "Reason You Suck" Speech before the show.
- Everyone Has Standards: Carly may be Sam's best friend, but she will never reach a point where she tells a friend's secret out loud to the whole world, which is why she chastises Sam for revealing on the web show that Freddie never kissed a girl.
- Food Slap: To get Spencer to do exercise, Gibby splashed coffee over his face.Gibby: Carly told me that if Spencer tries to be lazy, throw a cup of water in his face to peek him up.
Spencer: Right, well THAT WAS HOT COFFEE! - Groin Attack: As part of his training to become a football player, Spencer asks Sam to throw a football towards him. She does it, and it lands right in-between his legs, much to his utter pain as he squabbles back into the room.
- Heel Realization: Crossing over with My God, What Have I Done?, Sam feels guilty during Carly's "The Reason You Suck" Speech, as Carly lays out that ruining Freddie's life by revealing his secret to the whole world crossed the line. This motivates her to publicly apologize during the live stream and reveal she has never been kissed either.
- Insult to Rocks: When Carly admonishes Freddie for handcuffing Sam to Gibby, Freddie defensively says she put a dead fish in his locker. Much to his indignation, Sam furiously replies that Gibby is WAY worse than a dead fish.Gibby: My mom thinks I'm awesome!
- Jerkass Has a Point: Although Sam had absolutely no reason to put a fish in Freddie's locker, she is entirely right about her hatred of being handcuffed to Gibby and that she doesn't enjoy being pranked by anyone else.
- Karma Houdini Warranty: If you stop and think about it, Carly giving Sam a talking to after the way she acted online, during a webcast, no less, can be seen as Sam getting her long-awaited Just Desserts for constantly tormenting Freddie over the years.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Sam is hit with this after being chewed out by Carly for hurting Freddie's feelings and ruining his reputation. You can tell how radio silent and mentally upset she is after the entire conversation.
- Never My Fault: Sam initially thinks that it's weird how Freddie has been Skipping School and refusing to show up for recording iCarly. This spurs Carly to chew her out for taking her revenge too far by hurting Freddie.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business:
- This is one of the few episodes where Carly is genuinely angry at Sam for taunting Freddie.
- Sam notes during her Never My Fault mode that it's unlike Freddie to skip school or recording the show.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Carly delivers a scathing one to Sam for ruining Freddie's life, all because he played a prank on her. Sam tries to say she's sorry, but Carly retorts that a simple apology won't fix that because the damage is already done and Sam knows that she can't take back what she said.
- Shaking the Rump: When Carly tells Spencer to get up, he does so and mocks her with this trope, until he gets a cramp while doing so and has a spasm trying to get out of it.
Carly: Alright, now that you’re done doing the butt cramp dance.
- Show Within a Show: Kelly Cooper: Terrible Movie. Also The First Kiss.
- Stylistic Suck: Again, Kelly Cooper.
- Synchro-Vox: The episode starts with Carly watching a SplashFace video of a talking foot, which is a live action foot with someone's mouth superimposed over it.
- Wham Line: Sam delivers one to the iCarly audience that even stuns Carly:"And for all you people out there who've been teasing Freddie about (never kissing anyone), lay off! 'Cause I bet a whole lot of you haven't kissed anyone either... including me."(Cue Carly staring at Sam in complete shock)
- What the Hell, Hero?: Carly tells off Sam after she reveals to the world that Freddie's never kissed a girl, knowing that that was going too far, even for Carly herself.Carly: You really hurt him. Every time he leaves the house, he gets teased 'cause you told the whole world he's never kissed anyone. You know, he won't even talk to his mom. He just sits on the fire escape alone 'cause he's too embarrassed to see anyone. [walks over to Freddie's tech cart] You, like, ruined his whole life and you don't even care!
Sam: Alright, I'll go apologize.
Carly: It doesn't even matter if you apologize. Kids are still gonna give him a hard time 'cause you can't take back what you said.
Sam: Look, I didn't m—
Carly: [interrupts Sam] You went too far this time! And you can't fix it!
