Basic Trope: A character attempts to take a bath, but is interrupted by something or someone.
- Straight: Alice is taking a luxurious bath, when Superbob crashes through the window after being knocked through the air by a squad of Emperor Evulz' henchmen. Superbob's eyes go wide as he looks down slightly, and he then compliments Alice on her "sizable assets." Alice shrieks at Superbob to get out.
- Exaggerated:
- After Superbob crashes through the window, Evulz' henchmen follow him into Alice's bathroom. Each of them compliments Alice in turn on her breasts with a different phrase ("Nice rack!" "Beautiful jugs, ma'am!" "Lovely melons!"), while Alice continues to shriek that everyone needs to leave.
- After crashing through her window, Superbob accidentally lands on top of Alice in her bath, with both his face and his hands landing in opportune places.
Superbob: Wow, I am so sorry! (squeeze) These are amazing. Do you moisturize?- After Superbob crashes through the window, he sees Alice, Claire, Rosita, Anjali, and Meiling all in a large hot-tub style bath. He compliments them all on their breasts in their respective native tongues, and they all shriek in unison.
- Superbob and Evulz are fighting in the street outside, and one of Evulz' power blasts completely demolishes Alice's bathroom wall, exposing her bathroom to the street. She jolts up out of fright and tries to awkwardly cover herself, until the nearby police helicopter demands that all civilians put their hands up, so her hands shoot into the air as the helicopter's spotlight shines on her. At the same time, the news team that's been streaming the fight points their cameras at Alice, and the reporter asks Alice questions as she stands frozen in place with her hands still up.
Reporter: How much of the fight have you seen, ma'am? Do you think Superbob can win? Also...(the cameramen point down slightly)... are those real? - Downplayed: Superbob bounces off Alice's window, without crashing through it. She hears a loud thump, but decides it's nothing and goes back to relaxing.
- Justified: It's been established as a Running Gag that Alice can never get through a bath without being interrupted by some superhero nonsense.
- Inverted: Alice gets to enjoy a nice bath, without any interruptions.
- Gender-Inverted: Bob is enjoying a bath, when Atomic Alice smashes through his window. She compliments Bob on his well-defined pecs, and Bob says uh, thanks.
- Subverted:
- Alice is wearing earbuds with loud music and has her eyes closed; she's virtually impossible to interrupt.
- Alice is taking a bath in a remote island resort, with her phone turned off, far away from the bustle and superhero battles of the city. Nothing could find her here.
- Double Subverted:
- After Superbob crashes through the window, he removes her earbuds so he can tell her that he's sorry about her window. Also, she should move somewhere safer when she can. Also, he compliments her on her large breasts.
- This remote island has its own guardian superhero, Tropical Tornado, who crashes through her window. Tropical Tornado's eyes go wide as he compliments Alice on her large breasts (in a foreign language, which the viewer can see translated via subtitles), and Alice shrieks at him to get out.
- Parodied: Alice is telling a friend about her problem with baths always getting interrupted by ridiculous superhero battles, but she can't quite get it out because every time she even says the word "bath," a loud noise like a car horn or ringtone interrupts her sentence.
- Zig-Zagged: There are rare occasions when Alice manages to get through a whole bath. On other occasions, the humiliation is even worse than the Superbob situation.
- Averted: Alice never takes a bath in the story.
- Enforced: "We need more Fanservice, but don't want Alice to look like a slut. Hey, we can just have other characters crash into the scene when she's taking a bath!"
- Lampshaded: "Of course, whenever I try to take a bath, something ridiculous happens. This is why I prefer showers."
- Invoked: Emperor Evulz has deduced that at some point, Alice will figure out his secret identity while thinking about it in the bath, so he endeavors to punch Superbob through her window while she's bathing as much as possible.
- Exploited: Realizing that a superhero will always inevitably crash through her window while she's bathing, Alice uses this as a trick to summon superheroes when necessary. She only wishes she didn't have to be naked for it to work.
- Defied: Alice sees Superbob crash through the window, and just puts in her earbuds and closes her eyes. She refuses to be interrupted.
- Discussed: "That Alice can never get through an entire bath. Pass the binoculars!"
- Conversed: "They've resorted to smashing into Alice's house while she's taking a bath." "Why do they need such contrived reasons for Fanservice, exactly?"
- Implied: At her office, some of Alice's colleagues tell her that they heard Superbob crashed into her house while she was in the middle of a bath, and they're wondering if it's true. Alice rolls her eyes and says she doesn't want to talk about it.
- Deconstructed:
- Alice spends a fortune on bath products that she ends up wasting when her baths get interrupted.
- Alice has a hard time finding home insurance providers to cover her windows, after having them smashed so many times.
- Reconstructed:
- Alice becomes an influencer so cosmetics companies will send her free bath products to review.
- One of the superheroes that smashes through her window during a bath is Window Whiz, who gives her a prototype regenerating window so she doesn't have to keep paying to replace it. Alice, still naked in her bath, asks sourly why he can't just make a window that's indestructible to stop these incidents from happening completely, and Window Whiz somberly admits that science just isn't there yet. Then he looks down slightly, and compliments Alice on her large breasts.
- Played for Laughs:
- After superheroes have interrupted her bath so many times, they all know Alice on a first-name basis.
Dynadave: Ooo, sorry about your window again, Alice. Great boobs!- Villains start kidnapping Alice, and force her to take baths in their hideouts to get their rivals to come crashing through the window. To their credit, they don't attempt to watch her bathe; it just appears to be the most efficient way to summon heroes, by a huge margin. Of course, once the correct hero shows up, the villain does in fact barge in, at which point they apologize for the intrusion. Then both the villain and the hero look at Alice, look down slightly, and compliment Alice on her large breasts simultaneously.
- Played for Drama:
- Alice eventually realizes that fate isn't just being cruel; summoning superheroes when she takes a bath is actually her superpower. But she also learns that as a side effect of her power, she always has to tolerate some kind of humiliation after the summoning. She has to make the decision if it's worth it.
