- It's Captain, Captain Jack Sparrow. Jack is VERY insistent about his title.
- "Sea Turtles, mate." note An In-Universe one, used by Cptn Jack Sparrow and his father Cptn Teague as an explanation for otherwise absurd events.
- I've got a jar of dirt... note Cptn Jack Sparrow waving around a jar full of dirt to protect him from Davy Jones. Due to how the line was delivered, it was made into a music Fanvid.
- Chartman. note Cptn Jack Sparrow's retort against Barbarossa when they're arguing who gives orders on the Black Pearl.
- Why is the rum gone?! note The rum is gone because Elizabeth Swann used it as a signal flare, but also because she personally loathes alcohol. The line was later mixed into a music Fanvid.
- My Peanut. Cptn Jack Sparrow fighting with his own hallucinated clones over a peanut.
- "STOP BLOWING HOLES IN MY SHIP!" has become something of a meme on Tumblr, because, well...
- "Part of the ship, part of the crew". note The motto and chant of the Flying Dutchman's crew, for obvious reasons.
- Savvy? note Cptn Jack Sparrow's catchphrase, roughly meaning 'You understand?'
- "There was a fourth one?" note A common Take That! to the franchise is to joke about how the third sequel, On Stranger Tides, is considered so mediocre that people forget it existed. The same applies for the fifth one, Dead Men Tell No Tales.
- See? Disney can go dark! note A common Take That! towards people that believe current day Disney is too kid-friendly is to point them in the direction of Davy Jones shoving his beard tentacles into Mercer's orifices to kill him. Heck, most, if not all, of the other instances of Nightmare Fuel from this franchise are arguably applicable here
- "You are, without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."note Norrington's initial reaction to Captain Jack Sparrow. Used both straight for failed attempts at sailing/digital piracy and as a snowclone of the form "You are, without a doubt, the worst [X] I've ever heard of."
- "But you have heard of me." note Cptn Jack Sparrow's response to the above, and naturally a common reply to it being used as a meme.
- "That's got to be the best pirate I've ever seen.." Originally used for Cptn. Jack Sparrow stealing a Royal Navy ship, then disabling the rudder of the one the British are on, shredding a rowboat in the process. note Often used either for genuinely impressive feats of seamanship, Epic Fails or both.
- All of the main characters pointing guns at each other in third movie note usually with each character representing different people or groups in a fight.
- Beckett walking down the Endeavor as it is destroyed by cannon fire note Used to represent being in trouble or facing criticism.

- "You best start believing in ghost stories, you're in one."note This was a line said by Barbossa to Elizabeth when she first saw his skeletal form. It became a meme used for notable moments of Life Imitates Art, with "ghost" replaced by the relevant genre of story.
- "You best start believing in cyberpunk dystopias, you're in one." note A popular variant used to express disilussion with the future of tech, and how the poster believes modern society to be akin to a Cyberpunk one.
- "Yag Sparrrreow" note Armando Salazar's way of pronouncing Cptn. Jack Sparrow's name, courtesy of his heavy Spanish accent.
- Davy Jones falling note A gif of Davy Jones falling off the boat became a popular meme as a reaction to something bad or just as an ironic gif.
- Pirates of the Caribbean XXX note Some of the promotional shots of Margot Robbie in her pirate costume for the planned reboot have been compared to the cover art of Pirates XXX, a fairly well known adult film.
- "You afraid to get wet?" note A quote from Davy Jones in At World's End, used in response to someone's rejection of flirting.
- "You will always remember this as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!" note This line, first said in Curse of the Black Pearl, was used often after Johnny Depp won his defamation lawsuit.
- "Hoist the Colors" has become a meme on TikTok and YouTube, usually for scary sea animal and thalassophobia videos.
