Since this series is a Sadist Show, so it's bound to have several characters act like this every now and then.
- Chris McLean is a sadistic megalomaniac who cares only for his famous and luxurious lifestyle and milking his show's drama for maximum ratings, which typically means making the teenage contestants' lives as miserable and painful as possible — and then taking personal enjoyment out of torturing them and watching them suffer. And his moral standards get lower with every season.
- Heather, the resident Alpha Bitch of the season 1 cast, is known for being self-centered, vain, hateful, ruthless, manipulative, bullying, and having nothing but condescending contempt towards almost everybody. She read Gwen's diary out loud for the world just because Gwen gave her a little lip. Even Chris was absolutely disgusted with her for it. She does become a somewhat better person in later seasons, but not by very much.
- Justin is an egotistical, lazy and narcissistic bastard who uses his charisma to deceive and manipulate if not outright hypnotize, other contestants.
- Courtney is shown to be a Spoiled Brat and an Entitled Bitch in Action when she sues her way into the show and demands blatant advantages handed to her by threatening to sue them further for not "giving her what she deserves". At least Heather did things under her own power and not threaten every little thing not going her way with lawsuits.
- Blaineley is a massive Smug Snake with a conceited personality whose only cares are being in the spotlight at all times, stirring up drama between the contestants for maximum ratings, and digging up scandalous dirt and gossip on people that are fit only for the sleaziest tabloids. In a lot of ways, she's pretty much a washed-up female Chris — minus Chris' genuine skills as a TV host or his capacity for charisma.
- Jo is a Jerk Jock with a "take-no-prisoners" attitude. She's an aggressive and merciless bully who uses insulting nicknames more than actual names and openly treats her teammates as expendable fodder. The saddest part is that it has nothing to do with her social standing with others — even people she mutually enjoys the company of go on the chopping block once their usefulness comes to an end.
- Scott, whose label is "The Devious", has the biggest case of Chronic Backstabbing Disorder in the entire series, because his strategy is to have complete control of the eliminations. He stirs up trouble amongst his own team and sabotages them with little remorse, as well as frame and blackmail others if it benefits him. He even boasts in his online bio that his fondest childhood memory is causing a fight between his own parents. However, he Took a Level in Kindness in his later appearances.
- Lightning is easy to underestimate while Jo and Scott are around, but there's plenty leading up to him taking over as the series' Big Bad once the other two are gone. There's his poor attitude and sometimes aggression towards Sam, using violence (like Jo) to keep his team in the truth challenge in "Truth or Laser Shark", kicking rocks onto the Maggots in "Ice Ice Baby", his deal with Fang to hand him Scott (who'd he'd only known as a capable teammate) in "Grand Chef Auto", and so on. Once Cameron sort of cheats him out of immunity after he'd helped him get rid of Jo, Lightning goes berserk and stays that way for the rest of the season.
- Mal, one of Mike's Split Personalities and Big Bad of All-Stars. In contrast to the cheerful, friendly, and kindhearted Mike, Mal is a sadistic, cruel, and heartless sociopath who knows no boundaries when it comes to hurting others and simply causes mayhem For the Evulz.
- Amy is a massive Big Sister Bully towards her twin sister Sammy ("Samey") and spends most of her time abusing and berating Sammy for no good reason. But even towards the other contestants, she's rude, bratty, vain, and hateful of them.
- Sugar is a cheating, manipulative jerk who takes immense pleasure in watching Ella get hurt.
- Dave is more of a downplayed example. While he isn't trying to be mean to his teammates, his tendency to get snappy and throw hissy fits can make him come off as a Jerkass at times. He gets worse after Sky continuously rejects his advances to the point of suffering a Sanity Slippage.
- Alejandro, "The Arch Villain" — a Faux Affably Evil Manipulative Bastard and Bitch in Sheep's Clothing who will stoop to any level to win. He has seduced girls with little care for how it will hurt their established romantic relationships, hurt and humiliated even the nicest contestants on the show without remorse, feigned friendship and sympathy to others for his own self-gain, and backstabbed those who were legitimately friendly towards him out of pure self-interest. Considering how greedy and self-centered he is, it was little wonder he was seen as the perfect love interest for the equally despicable Heather (and ironically, her shared traits made her the only veteran competitor able to defeat him in the end).
- Noah in season 1 was much more openly hostile towards his teammates, taking every opportunity to insult or make fun of them, whilst being a major pain in everyone’s butt. He gets much better in later seasons, however.
- Duncan can be a Jerk with a Heart of Gold, but his negative qualities are cranked up in the 2nd and 3rd seasons. He has no qualms picking on Harold on a daily basis and acts generally obnoxious, especially towards Courtney.
- Heavily downplayed, but Bowie is a Manipulative Bastard who eliminated Caleb just to prove his superiority and drove a wedge in-between Priya and Millie's friendship for his own benefit. He's not bad like most people on the list though and is actually a nice and affable guy.
- Chase is a prankster with zero regard for other people's feelings, even his girlfriend Emma, and is shown to be more selfish than even Courtney. When the second season hits and Emma breaks up with him, he still refuses to see the error of his ways. Even the hosts don't approve of him.
- At first glance, Julia seemed to be like Dawn in terms of personality. Once MK exposes her true self (a catty and antagonistic girl) online, she rolls along with it.
- MK is a Deadpan Snarker who is usually cynical and has no problem cheating.
- Ripper is The Bully to everyone and likes to bother them on purpose by insulting them and farting. Think Owen but with all the positive qualities removed.
Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race
- Taylor is mean and rude to everyone, especially her mother. This is largely attributed to her upbringing as a Spoiled Brat.
- The Ice Dancers are both huge jerks towards the other teams as shown through their constant cheating. Josee especially fits into the title of jerk due to her abuse of Jacques.
- Stephanie is an abusive control freak who frequently and harshly bullies, abuses, and assaults her partner, Ryan. She even takes her cruelty and cowardice out on other contestants in the show such as Kitty, although she mainly sticks to bullying Ryan.
- Chet and Lorenzo are mean and rude, even to other teams.

- Like in the main series, Duncan is a rude, scheming Card-Carrying Villain who frequently laughs at others' misfortunes. In an Establishing Character Moment, he pops Izzy's bubble just For the Evulz.
