As this is a Funny Moments Page, Spoilers Off applies here and all spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned!

Even such a terrifying addition to one of the scariest franchises in video game history can give us all a fun laugh.

  • It sadly didn't happen because of scheduling conflicts, but the security guard in the opening sequence was originally intended to be played by Markiplier. The idea that "the King of Five Nights at Freddy's" was going to be killed off in the opening is nothing short of amazing.
    • Even better, the guard is caught by Foxy, the first animatronic to ever kill Mark in his playthrough of the original game.
  • There's a bit of Black Comedy in Mike beating up what he assumed to be a kidnapper, only for it to be revealed that the man was the father of the boy he was dragging off.
  • Steve Raglan tries to sell Mike on the security job, but even he can't sugarcoat how thankless it is.
Steve: You want the job or not?
    Mike: How's the pay?
Steve: Not great. But...the hours are worse.
    • Steve also tells Mike that he only has to worry about one thing at the job: "Keeping people out...and-and, you know, and keep the place tidy." Mike promptly replies, "That's two things." This comes back in the climax when he tells Vanessa that she had one job: "Keep [Mike] in the dark, and kill him if he got too close." Vanessa promptly replies, "That's two jobs."
  • The film's take on the franchise's classic "Help Wanted" advertisements, as seen in this tweet, instructs potential applicants to use WhatsApp to contact the restaurant or else.
  • Abby and Mike's sibling banter is pretty funny, especially the scene when he has to get his security vest back from her.
  • Matthew Robert "MatPat" Patrick's cameo as an annoyingly chipper waiter who tries to encourage his patrons to order lunch as it's the "most important meal of the day". When he gets chided that he means breakfast, he tries to argue that that's "just a theory" before being cut off. His name tag also happens to read "Ness", a clear jab at his infamous "Ness is Sans" theory.
    • The latter detail is especially funny, as it wasn't a choice on his part, but a prank Scott himself pulled. He specified to the prop designer and script writer that MatPat's character was named "Ness", then let the Theorist contemplate its lore relevance (mainly when it comes to its relation to Vanessa) until they met on set and he dropped the bombshell.
  • Aunt Jane’s lawyer Doug’s absolute horror at Jane and her two goons discussing how to make Mike look unfit in front of him. When one of said goons openly suggests killing Mike, Doug outright attempts to climb out of the seat to avoid being an accomplice and has to be pushed back into it by Jane.
  • We get no explanation as to why Chica's poor cupcake was in the fridge and separated from her before it attacked Carl. Was it locked in there? Was it sleeping? Was it just casually passing the time in the middle of the hot American summer by keeping itself cool? We get no answer. It still makes said poor cupcake no less violent, of course...
  • While the scene where the animatronics pick off Aunt Jane's goons is more played for horror than it is laughs, there's Jeff's reaction to Chica and Bonnie putting Mr. Cupcake into a nearby vent after he locks himself in the office, realizing exactly what this means as the duo stare at him through the security camera.
    "Shit..."
    • Bonus points, the look Bonnie and Chica give Jeff through the camera when he hides in the office. While clearly meant to be menacing, it can easily be interpreted as them saying, “You really thought you were safe in there, didn't you?”
    • The fact that after Max is decapitated, the scene smash cuts to Abby watching a cartoon.
  • We've never actually seen the animatronics perform proper in any of the games. So how do they perform in the film? Lipsyncing and "dancing" to cheesy 1980s rock songs.
  • Abby walks in on Mike struggling to get his Nebraska poster off of his ceiling, watching as he only manages to rip one of the corners off. When Mike starts his next shift at Freddy's, the poster has been hung up in his office and taped back together.
  • In an effort to save his sister from death by tickle-fight, Mike grabs a chair and runs up to attack Freddy, only to immediately take a few steps back upon realizing the bear's size.
  • Mike's response to finding out the animatronics are alive is to assume it's all a prank, and yells for the person he thinks is controlling them to reveal themselves already. Josh Hutcherson's delivery really sells the scene.
"Okay, good joke! Congratulations, you got me! (begins to sound a little more panicked) You can come out now!"
    "...Hello?"
  • The Death Glare Freddy gives Mike whilst hugging Abby.
  • Mike and Abby's immediate understanding that the animatronics are possessed by ghosts, by virtue of just how understated it is. It comes across as lighthearted poking at how much of the audience probably already know the basic concept of the story.
  • When Abby suggests building a fort to stay safe at night, she convinces not just Mike and Vanessa to build it, but the spirits in the animatronics to help as well. What follows is a sequence of two tired, anxious adults and four clumsy robots trying to build a coherent play fort out of tables and chairs. By the time it's finished, Bonnie celebrates a bit too hard and falls on his back. Everyone looks worried, only for him to give a quiet thumbs up of reassurance.
    • A shot of the montage show Chica and Foxy standing higher up than usual. While it seems to be a set of chairs, a behind the scenes shot shows this is accomplished by the two standing on Freddy and Bonnie's backs.
  • After Mike has a justifiable scare when Abby gets shocked by Bonnie's guitar, he adamantly says she can't come anymore after tonight. While a sadder moment in itself, Freddy looks at the scene with as close to a frown as he can get, looking less like a big teddy bear and more like a pouting puppy.
  • The Running Gag of a creepy Balloon Boy statue showing up in unexpected places and its appearance being treated as a Jump Scare, despite Balloon Boy being one of the few characters in the games who doesn't have a jumpscare.
  • FNAF Let's Player CoryxKenshin's cameo as a taxi driver, where he ends up picking up Abby, who's accompanied by Golden Freddy. He gets spooked by the animatronic, shouting, "OH MY GOODNESS!" in a way that wouldn't sound out of place in one his videos, but then simply gives a resigned sigh, tells Abby, "Not cool," and asks himself, "Why do I always get the weirdos?"
  • While the animatronics turning on William thanks to Abby's intervention is an undeniably awesome moment, there's something darkly amusing about the fact that it's Chica's cupcake of all characters who's responsible for triggering his fateful springlock failure in this continuity.
  • At the end of the movie, Abby asks if they could visit her friends some time. Mike briefly sports a Thousand-Yard Stare at the idea before giving a noncommittal answer.
